Hello! I can't find episode 1. I'm looking at the Playlist and the first video is this one Multi-way Pots Episode 2. I hesitate to ask for help because there's likely something I'm overlooking. I started with episode 16 when I came across this channel. Because the explanations are clear and PLO Professor comes across as someone likable I've chosen to subscribe and watch every video but especially the lessons. PLEASS HELP!
If Professor PLO is wearing a white T and explains right away 20 episodes are planned, well I found it.

Players tend to play PLO 5 in a defensive manor because we don't have millions of hours of video content and discussions on strategies etc.....if only there was someone.....hmmm?!

Professor what things in life would you like to see change? Deep question I feel like you care about people. Is poker a hard career for you or do you not feel bad to addicted gamblers?
@@conraddewey1709 first of all, I love this question! I do care about people that’s why I tell people when I coach players I’m more of a life coach than a poker coach - even though it’s tied around poker. Poker is not a hard career; if someone has an addiction and is dumping $$$ to me - it’s my job in this universe to take it from them so they can learn whatever lesson they need to learn! Poker is a hard career at least once a month! Just because of variance and burn out! Ty for the question and ty for watching!

Thought it was kinda funny how u said you are a math prodigy but the odds of flopping a set are 7.5-to-1 meaning that it's 1 out of every 8.5 times. A math prodigy wouldn't mix up the difference between odds representation and the fractional representation of the probability. But regardless, close enough and this is still a good video. 🤑

Do you recommend visiting the UP? I have 2 kids 7&10. What is there to do up there and what cities should i see?
@@Millnoc the UP is beautiful - if you were planning any visit - I would probably do it in mid October - the colors are amazing. July is a great month too for campfires and fishing. If you do like winter it is a winter wonderland - skiing, ice shoeing - ice fishing - snowmobiling - just depends on what activities you want to do (my vote is summer or fall)!

@@ThomasDingel-l1r $8 per hand comes out (on an 8 handed table with a shuffler - to about 2500 every 8 hours)
@ that means almost 40 hands per hour does that sound right I never took notice to how many hands an hour their were

Hello, how to handle top set on dynamic flop & spr high? Ex: You have QQxx on QJ4ss OOP and SPR = 2 or 3 or 5. But Turn could complete straight or flush. I see people just x/c if turn straight or flush come. If they have flush, you just have 20% top set vs flush. And They bet pot turn, we need 33% to call. Thanks
@@lupin9364 this varies for a couple of different reasons. The one thing that I think a lot of people make the mistake of - is thinking they always have to bet pot. - it also becomes player dependent (what type of players are you playing against) and also what stakes your playing. In theory, stakes shouldn’t matter, but in reality, higher stakes games will recognize players who play passively and will pounce on that regularly. It also depends on how many people you’re facing. If you are heads up - I’m more likely to continue with a bet - if you’re multi-way and oop I’m more likely to either do a small bet or x/C depending on spr of opponent. It does boil down to a few other factors to consider - but I hope this helps answer your question (my first word of advice is you don’t always have to bet pot!). But always keep in mind the largest bet you can make is usually on the river. When it comes to a higher stakes game for example, flop may be QJ4ss and you hold QQxx and your opponent holds JJxx (with one space) if spade falls on the turn and you check, they’ll recognize that faster and most likely bet - protecting their 2nd set, with a single spade blocker, but also recognizing that if you lead with a wrap draw, now a spade makes your wrap worthless. @@PLO4-VanMarREG-sr8gz depends on several factors - but generally I play Kk decently aggro - it also depends on the other two cards you’re holding onto! I think when you first start playing plo - playing passively in many situations is much more common. Ty for the comment and ty for watching!
Hello, recently i lose a lot in plo4. When I have aa and flop multiway, spr 2 or 3 or 5, i get confuse to act and dont know should I go in flop :(( sometimes V could has set or monster vs my Aa
@@PLO4-VanMarREG-sr8gz these are case by case issues - if your multi way - depending on position, player type, how draw heavy the board is, and SPR all factor in. AA out of position in PLO isn’t the easiest hand to play - I would approach some boards with caution and some without. Again, many things to consider. Appreciate the comment and ty for watching.
