Thank you for all your content , my 4 and 5 card game has improved tremendously. On your hand with 2AQ45, are you not calling off to win HALKF the pot pre? the only nut you have to draw to is a 7 high str8 or a wheel low? I'm my experience, in a split game, are you not wanting to start with a premium low, and then work to get a high also to scoop?
The part I usually stress to players is to remember there is always a high…. So I don’t mind most of the low cards because of the Q - the AQ - a lot of times the Queen will come into play. But that’s also why I stress if you can; play 3/3 hands - 3 to a wheel and 3 to broadway! Ty for the comment and question and ty for watching!
Appreciate your hand by hand analysis! I can't remember if you live in Vegas, but if you do can you tell me best poker room to find Big O cash on a regular basis? I'd also like to get coaching info if at all possible. Thank you, Jim
For coaching shoot me a text. 906.361.2509. The Wynn was doing a 2/5/10 big O every Thursday - but really the best time for Big O in Vegas is during the Series st the Paris. Best chance is probably at the Wynn because they do the 40/80 mix there now.
@@ourcultureourway86 Texas, Venetian on Thursday - Sunday has a mixed plo that includes big O, and Hollywood park - in La has a mixed plo. Talking stick in Arizona has mixed plo - but I think it’s DBBP, plo5 and big O, but the DBBP happens 2x as often as the other 2 games. Its a bit of a mix - but I’m thinking Texas is probably the most consistent
How often are you playing the high only hands in position vs OOP? Hands that can only make the high is what I’m referring to. For cash games Im always curious about how often I should be calling with one way hands
So / in general a few things come into play before deciding to play a one way only hand. 1 - if you get a one way only hand and hit - will your opponents pay you off? If no - don’t play it, you are also playing too tight and have too tight of an image for your table. If yes - do play it, but more things to consider. Step 2 (only if this applies and you believe you will get paid off if you hit your high only hand) - what is your SPR, opponents SPR - or specific opponent SPR that you are targeting? Step 3 - position? Button, yes, play almost every button no matter what. Hopefully those quick steps will help answer your question. As for me - I play one way hands all the time because my vpip in cash games is extremely high - 60-80%….. so my image is super loose. Thus, I get paid when I hit those high only hands. Ty for the comment and ty for watching! Remember - 100% of the hands have a hi, only 50% have a low.
Thanks for taking the time to document every hand. Awesome video
One of your best videos yet prof. Can tell you out a lot of effort into editing this.
Thanks man! Literally this one and the next took me like 32 hours of editing. Crazy!
Like this format, Professor!
Awesome vid!!
Ty so much Steven! It took me forever to edit every single hand played, but I got it done - felt like a huge accomplishment!
Awesome format, reminds me not to overextend with aggression just because I potted and missed, keep it up!
Love the Vid professor! run like a god!
