- Captain Ultla, aided by his two companions Joe and Hack, leads the Space Patrol. Their mission is to protect the Solar System from aggressive aliens.
One day, The Space Patrol’s obsevation satellite discovers a strange formation approaching Earth at high speed. Captain Ultra is sent out to intercept and identify the intruders. When he closes in he finds them to be invading ships from the planet Vande. In the insuring space battle, young Kenji, but when they get back to the obsevation satellite they discover that the whole thing had been a ruse to get Captain Ultra away...
Viendo la serie en retrospectiva para su tiempo eran excelentes!!,un progre de generacion de cristal quedaria horrorizado con tantas muertes en tan pocos minutos,bombas,sangre, etc. una verdadera joya de serie :)
Gracias por subirlo. Aqui en peru, lo veia via canal 7. Tenia seis a siete anos y la transmitian despues de ultra siete. La recuerdo tambien los sabados. Full televisor en blanco y negro. Antena de conejo.

Many thanks, Toei, for making this vintage space series available with English subtitles. By watching the first Captain Ultra episode, I can see how TV series were made in the pre--CGI era. Although budgets were limited, the plot was consistent. The Vandels looked like walking plants. (LOL!!! 😸😆) Character development was important back then, & CU had plenty of action, was fun, and pure old school. I liked what I saw. 🚀🚀🚀
There are a lot of plant monsters in sci-fi, from the Triffids to the Krynoids and Vervoids of _Doctor Who._ 🙂

this show was produced at a low budget and its just a short filler one back then..Still a good colored Toei tokusatsu show from the 1960's.
They did right in putting his handsome face in the thumbnail!

I’m sure if this ever was released in the U.S. back in the 60’s after it finished airing in Japan, heck maybe even at the end of the 70’s after the Star Wars boom, I’m pretty sure it would have been a ratings hit over here. It really sucks not very many Tokusatsu shows were aired here.
That why in Philippines we are kind lucky we are near Japan and we got some decent tokustasu.
@@zeronos2844 yeah y’all are lucky, in the U.S. we only got a handful, Tokusatsu in the U.S. never really made its mark until Power Rangers, I wish we had got so much more but the past is the past
Saban tried to import Bioman at first (with Mark Dacascos as Red One) but he was laughed at because it looked stupid back then.
@@zeronos2844 they ate their own words and choked because when Zyuranger was adapted into MMPR, it was a huge hit when first released, even though Power Rangers isn’t as hugely popular as it was back in the day, it is still going on strong today
