Jaspion was a massive hit in Brazil in the 80's ! Aired daily starting in 88 , it had been an icon for children and teens for years on... I am in my forty's but i remember fond of this time. Despite we are from Brqzil this hero had become part of my generation and we could sing theirs songs off by heart! Basically EVERY BRAZILIAN around 40's now, know exactly what Jaspion represents!!! I was 6 to 7 years old when Jaspion was broadcast for the first time in Brazil in 1988. For me, it was the best and the most memorable of all the Japanese series I watched. It's a milestone for a generation that is more or less in my age. EVERYONE of my generation watched Jaspion. For me it is the best tokusatsu for having a very charismatic character and also a very intelligent story, a mix of mysticism and Judeo-Christian religion.

Star Wars married to Transformers, and they had kids. It ain't getting any more awesome than this. It's the epitome of awesoness.
