"Capital 'P,' lowercase 'assword.'" 😂
I know right? 😂😂

Wow, I never knew the Wall Street Journal did comedic gigs.
Ricky & Morty could've done this better 🤣🤣🤣
Talavera jr
Same here
Their entire newspaper is a joke
Dave you’re name is also a joke as is your president. Trump is the biggest clown of them all and oh did I mention it, I’m the real Dave. ☺️😉🤣
Joanna is super cool. Always creative to stand out of the same boring tech reviewers.
best reviewer imo
Very biased towards apple though.
The Facebook lady is a wonderful actor.
Is this 3D audio or something? That knock at the beginning had me looking around trying to figure out who was knocking lol.
Dominique
They must be using stereo mics. This is crazy.
Amazing quality for sure.
I legit turned around like who the f*** is that
😂
3d knock check here ruclips.net/video/ZqNpXJwgO8o/видео.html
I was in the bathroom with my earphone on, when i heard those knocks, thought the other guy needs some tissue.
I thought somebody is knocking my room door
I like the direction this is going. Props to Apple for making this leap. But anonymized identity should simply be the norm unless specified.
yeah, but it is obvious it's never going to happen with Facebook or Google because ad revenue and tracking people is the base of their revenue
2:27 “ahhh the world is on FIRE!”
😂 so good
Joanna Stern always brings on the ruckus with these creative ways to deliver stories. Awesome.
Edit: 1:46 is that creativity again!
4:55 is nobody gonna talk about the fact that the Apple guy's name is Steve Rogers?
Thiện Võ haha! Not pumped yet 🤣
"Memory would work" gets me every time !!!
There is another convenient way: "reset password", every d*mn time.
But then they’re like your password can’t be the same as previous passwords 😭😭
This channel would be dead without Joanna. She definitely deserves a raise.
I love everything this host creates on this channel. Even other actors she works with is so entertaining to make you understand the point. Love watching her videos
You guys are THE biggest Dorks! Love it!!
The Face ID at the end was the best.
OMG YES MORE JOANNA STERN THANK YOU WSJ!!!
*Insert random RUclipsr promoting LastPass*
Joanna is a blessing to us all
Ok this was both really informative, at least on a level that users need to know, and comedic enough to retain attention and interest
Even if apple get hacked I dont think the hackers could have access to the apps , your face Id saved on the phone chip not on the cloud like android
On stock Android, face unlock is stored on your phone, and also on most Android phones it doesn't also have depth data and stuff like an iPhone, it's as harmles as a picture
@@NithinJune Wait.. they have fingerprints too... OML.
Android phones even keep fingerprint data on security chip like Pixel 3
@@ifyuhgonbeaskuntdohreply3539 they are kept on a security chip like the iphone
Typical apple fanboy knows nothing.
we love Joana business narrative with comedy
0:00 having headphones on... sucks!
Really solid video! Nice work Joanna. This was entertaining and informative.
Sign in with google or facebook asks permission for what detials you share between the network.... If you CHOOSE to share things like username and user profile that's to make the process of setting up all of that faster. Correct me if I am wrong (which I could be!).
To say its better is simply your opinion (or for that of anyone who trusts apple's security)for me I'd find sign in with google and use device push requests.
Google's device push request is why I tend to sign in with Google. Apps requesting an authentication token can also ask for other information such as friends list, profile pic, name, etc, and it's usually to improve user experience with their app and setup a basic profile for the user without the user having to do anything.
Honestly I just don't trust Facebook
@@NithinJune I wouldn't worry much about FB since they are fairly secure and are a big tech company, which means they try and avoid scandalous things. I would worry more about advertisers attempting to track you, which is almost impossible these days. Advertisers can even track you using HTML canvas API, 3rd party cookies, and other things such as, browser window size, IP address, geo-location of IP address, browser type, operating system, versions of browser/OS, etc. If you really want to be anonymous on the internet these days, use the Tor browser and resize your window daily
excellent video! Exactly like the real situation😂🔝
This was one of the big reasons I switched to apple phones long ago -commitment to privacy with biometrics. It's about time they got serious about being an alternative to google and FB.
One of your best videos yet! Great job explaining everything, the production is top notch!
Joanna, you know what you’re doing. I like you.
Microsoft Personal Assistants before Cortana: 0:39
BRO I DEADASS JUMPED, THOUGHT SOMEONE WAS KNOCKING ON MY WINDOW 🤣🤣
Since when is the WSJ a PR agency for Apple?
But then what happens if I leave apples platform and go to an Android or windows? How would you log into the same account?
Hahaha. You CAN'T LEAVE APPLE.
That’s that Apple Ecosystem for you. Just think about the Card
It would ask for your iCloud passwork, and you can sign in like normal.
Why leave Apple they getting better and better android is so intrusive cause google search engine trying to dominate everything they evil 👿
The Sign In with Apple will only be on iPhone, fool. If you leave iPhone and get a different phone it won’t have it
What about non apple users?
4:27 Apple vs Facebook! 😆
When it comes to privacy, Apple is the best because hardware is their product. Their services depend on the hardware people buy. When it comes to Facebook and Google, people ARE the product. They make money with ads.
This is such a creative and clever video
This is a perfect example of a creative video
OH MY GOD THAT KNOCK ACTUALLY MADE ME LOOK AT MY BEDROOM DOOR
Thank you WSJ, informative video and from now on I will use Apple instead it’s way more secure.
The Facebook girl, Caitlin is Amazing! 😍😍😍
Nicely done as usual
Oh I didn't knew WSJ was advertising for Apple.
This is a good use of a symbol
Some Facebook logins require you to share your data and you can’t undo it.
so false to those who say you can always opt out.
Theelysium right i was so stupid i made my spotify account by signing in with facebook so now i have no choice but creating a new account and adding every song, also loosing recomendations, etc
@@ene_n Go to the Spotify login page and click on "I forgot my password" under the login using the email address that you use to log into facebook
Sign in with apple to vendor lock in.
this format makes the info easier to share with parents. thank you!
And how do you sign with apple when your on PC ? At least with Google you can log on every device
The girl with the curly hair was hilarious :-)
nobody focuses on the last thing that they show..
the have a agreement with apple .
Sign in with Google
Do the THE Apple Watch series 5 pleaseeee
Knock knock knock! 😨😱😰 *am using headset
I just upgraded to iOS 13. How can I use Sign In with Apple?
app devs need to update their apps. they have time until next year spring
That hot looking guy got my click 😆😆
Why am I such a … 😆😆😆
Aaa…anyway, I hope this helps people understand the internet better, because this is not my kind of educational video, but if people are being educated by this, you're doing a good work, WSJ.
Does anyone know his social media?
@@TrungPham-fr9jn bruh he’s too cute 😆 i just wanna hug him!!
I use sign in with Github
I nearly shat myself when clicking on this video because of the stereo audio of the door knock
How much did Apple pay the Wall Street Journal to post this ad?
*It’s like the emoji movie*
It happens that Joanna Stern made a video about communication with emojis
My thumbprint is the best password
Useful info
I wish to use you Sign In with Apple. I wish
This is the coolest video for this matter!! Thank you!❤️
I wish your apps could at least give a free trial before charged it
Oh my God, this video is really good
the Continue with facebook lady is not only beautiful but actually a good actor. can imagine her even in more serious content.
Are there anymore videos with the Apple guy? Never seen him before...
love this
3:47 if somebody got your apple ID and PASSWORD, they would also need either your face scan, fingerprint, or PASSWORD to get in. Very secure. I think that must've been a slip up on WSJ's side.
she meant phone password. the password stored in your phone. that's not uploaded to the cloud.
“Long list” only three available
This is apple we now require your phone to be plugged in your head, we now own you.😳🔌📱
creativity level 10/10
When they guy knocked I was thinking someone knocked on my window! :D
That knock, why.
This was actually pretty funny.
Props to that team, hilarious!
Haven’t even seen Sign In with Apple yet. Have you?
Or you get a password manager like lastpass that fills them with you..
I had a question when can I see all the logins I have done with Apple or using Sign In with Apple in one place
That last slide was 😂
Only question is, what apps support "Sign in with Apple"? I haven't seen it at all yet.
“The Wall Street Journal has comercial agreement to supply news through Apple news” at the end…
Names the app "Sneezely" not knowing what's about to happen in the next few months...
LastPass
Ads are getting smarter
Creates huge dependency on one company. If you lose iphone?...
Just use keychain or some other password manager.
Joanns i love you
But what about going of an ecosystem then?
THAT KNOCK ON MY AIRPODS SOUNDED SO REAL
Amazing content that looks like sponsored content that isn't labeled as such. Try using a Password manager such as Keepass, Lastpass or 1Password.
Or keychain
Wait... 1:30 y’all just have 80 apps? I’m like sitting here with 150 trying to figure out where what is haha
I wish the apple guy said, GOOD morning!
Samsung is doing this for years...Hello people😒
But why would websites use this feature as it gives them lesser data to sell?
Because it’s mandatory in ios if your app is also using other sign in options.
@@amanagarwal1939 so Apple is making it mandatory for the apps on their platform? It's not for websites?
Jijumon M
Apple doesn’t own the web.... but as more and more people start using it... it’s going to put pressure on sites to include it too.
@@amanagarwal1939 Apple doesn't own the web? Ah okay, thanks.
I just read the Apple developer notes for this and they are actually not making it mandatory. It mentions 'participating apps and websites'. It's up to the developers. It's great for privacy but I doubt it'll be as big as sign with facebook/Google.
Anyways, thanks for the replies.
Jijumon M
Okay. That must be a new development. The last I heard was different. Hope developers get on this soon.
This was fun to watch. 👍🏾
Me at the beginning of the video: Who’s there?
this is a game changer.
Travis Harger it’s not, now your forced to use Apple and not able to switch to other phones
@@cyclopsgames9522 Why would you ever switch Apple is love, Apple is life.
J B because there a monopoly and there company is too powerful, also there phones aren’t as good as Samsung because most of there parts are made from Samsung parts. The iOS is good though
@@cyclopsgames9522 Apple is love, Apple is life.
Hilarious and brilliant
Why not just use email and one password for everything
Adamkk03 because if someone finds the password for one of your accounts, they effectively have access to every account you have that uses that password
