I’ve seen some recent builds here on the inner-tube that just do not pass muster myself … Heck a stock saw with good muffler mod and a sharp chain seems like it’d be right there with it. I dunno 🤷 man, charging that kinda coin , for those meager gains seems ………….. uncivilized 😉
@@metalandwood4u I’d compare it to being a gunsmith and charging good money for your service. If guy A consistently hits the bullseye 🎯 and guy B is all over the paper , well - ain’t gotta be a genius to figure THAT one out! 😊
@@metalandwood4u now that you mention it : I just saw a video of a 462 from masterminds (the gent from Tennessee you mentioned in a chainsaw cult video awhile back who apparently told you to F off? during a phone convo you had with him , something about inappropriate derogatory comments made about yourself on a certain ahem forum group) worksaws cutting white oak with a 28” bar/chain and it looked like about 30sec to get thru a white oak log that looked to be about 22-24” inches. Maybe his chain was dull 🤷… In any event THAT saw doesn’t appear to meet the required NACB 1” per sec (or better) cut speed. While Folk are free to spend their hard-earned money however they choose It appears the saw isn’t up to the standard , me thinks someone needs to get back in the woodshed and keep at it until it does! Lord Mr. Ford, IF folk are paying 450 for THAT I need to raise my prices considerably 😂😉🥩🍳
@fabzacres-blackcat yeah its crazy how things come back around over time. Youre right about the history you mention. I ruled him out of being a "CD" in the chainsaw cult lawsuit. Because he did delete all the bullshit from his fourm/blog. My suit should be filed within a month or two. Ive got the right attorney finally.
Dang ive seen some 460 builds recent, like today, that seem to struggle a bit. Even bog down.....are they meeting the 1 inch per second goal?
