Acoustic APDI Demo

Here I'm running through the settings of the Acoustic brand APDI preamp & DI pedal. Somehow there aren't many videos on this thing. I found this on sale online for about $80 and figured I'd give it a try; this led me to create a small pedalboard for my acoustic guitar which I may demo later once it's complete. Here I go through the settings and fiddle with the knobs to show you a feel for what this thing can do. Overall, I'm very impressed. It may not be the most awesome acoustic DI out there, but it certainly does improve your tone-especially if you go into a PA system. I'm playing through my trusty Martin GPC 15 Streetmaster using only the under saddle pickup and no "enhance" mode on the pickup. This should hopefully give you a good idea of what it would sound like on your typical acoustic-electric guitar. Enjoy.

Have you had any issues with noise or hissing? The bass version of this seems to have that problem and I just wanna know if this one’s good.

I haven't had any noise issues thus far, and I use it every week. Pressing that ground/lift button really does silence it for the most part.

Thank you 😅 for not applying the stinky nipple grab; it’s when mostly synth Artist grab knobs like they’re pinching a stinky nipple!! 😅
