Agreed! The original format was best with multiple stories instead of dragging one story out for an hour. The Original music was the best too, more creepy! But I am glad at least they continued on with the show. My favorite of the new show is the ReservaX Filies squad in AZ 4 Corners! That was creepy.

I watched this show religiously as a kid, even though it frightened me so much; way more than any scary movie. So many segments have stuck with me 30+ years later... the kidnappings of Michaela Garecht and Angela Hammond... The Blind River killer... The I-70 killer... the reunion of Mitchell Shigemoto and James Pearson still makes me cry like a baby to watch. Nowadays there are streaming channels airing Stack-era Unsolved Mysteries episodes 24/7 and I find myself watching from time to time, weirdly not to be frightened but because I find comfort in the nostalgia.
Saying that this show is a classic is an understatement! Everyone involved with this show (creators, directors, staff, actors, actresses, fans and last, but, not, least, the late great Robert Stack who was the icing on the cake) were placed on this planet to serve their purpose, and destiny in creating and implementing this successful masterpiece that benefited mankind!

I agree. I gave up on it. Toooooo long and only one story?! It feels like a lot of filler. UM (original) never did that.
Agreed! The original format was best with multiple stories instead of dragging one story out for an hour. The Original music was the best too, more creepy! But I am glad at least they continued on with the show. My favorite of the new show is the ReservaX Filies squad in AZ 4 Corners! That was creepy.
My grandparents used to watch this all the time. It was one of our favorites! Every time they would watch my sister and I we would always get ice cream and watch unsolved mysteries!
Loved watching this with my nan. The good old days, nostalgia ❤️
Loved the show, as I still watch it, did watch the Netflix continuation of the show, nothing can beat the old !!! Robert Stack and the unsolved mysteries magical music
It’s pure magic to listen to and to watch to !!! Can never get enough of the show 👍🏼
Thank you!
Mr. Robert Stack the OG. I think we can agree how awesome it would of been to meet this man in person. RIP Mr. Stack.
I have to say honestly that UM was a great TV series. I love it!
Obviously “Unsolved Mysteries” needs to have an audience for the program to continue. It must be a wonderful feeling to know *how many people you’ve helped through the years.* *Thank you so much for giving these cases as much exposure as possible.* It’s both mass entertainment and a service to families, victims and communities as well. Again, thanks so much.
unsolved Mysteries was one of my favorite shows growing up!
Bring back unsolved mysteries to prime time! You would make a ton of money and you would have the audience. We need the show back.❤
I remember every Wednesday night at 8pm I would watch it with my dad, then the next day at school me and my buddies would talk about the episode that came on. Good old days
Absolutely best show of it's kind.
Subscribed to your channel!
I subscribed as well
This was such a lovely gift! I don't know what my life would have been like with Unsolved Mysteries. It still remaims one of my favorite programs of all time. Thank you so much!

This is the best thing ever. God we miss the Stackman!
Early 2000s. Custom ring tones were popular and mine was the UM theme song. Heads would turn when the phone went off in public. Loved it.
What a fantastic look behind the scenes of one my all time favorite shows.
Thank your for putting this together! I know you have met countless fans but I don’t thing anyone is more a fan than d. I’m 56 and I still watch full episodes on this changer because it takes me back to my young adult years that I can never get back. Watching the episodes kind of takes me there and I find it comforting to have it on while I’m just hanging around my house although I’ve seen every episode multiple times. I always wondered what John Cosgrove and Terry looked like . I wish the show would come back because I’d all the did it did.
I don’t care what anyone says this is the greatest show ever made…. To this day I watch it every night until I fall asleep even though it might not be healthy for me 😅
That music intro is so haunting, especially as a child. Me & my sister loved being creeped out by the stories. Robert Stack...what a legendary man with a voice to match.
I watched UM faithfully when it was on TV. I often got so spooked out that I would go around the house making sure windows and doors were locked 🤣 And yet, there I'd be the next week watching it all over again.
This was absolutely fantastic, We all miss Rob Stack but we're all glad we can watch the show here and see updated case results. Much love to you all and thank you for one of, if not the best TV shows ever produced.
I’m glad the current reboot doesn’t have a narrator. Robert stack is so iconic, no one could fill his shoes
Bravo for this documentary, Unsolved Mysteries and Americas Most Wanted are still my favorite true crime OG shows! 💯📺📼
Unsolved mysteries has been one of my favorite shows and i keep watching over and over the episodes on youtube. Who can forget The music was beautiful and scary at the same time and the voice of Robert Stark just perfect, i wish this show are still on TV keeping the same format. Greetings from Norway🇧🇻🇧🇻
I need a behind the scene special for EVERY episode. This was amazing!
That would be dope. I would watch every single one even though I don’t like the ufo ones.
A GREAT doco honoring the show and Robert and the other hosts. Best show everrr!!!!!!! Better than horror films.
This show is my childhood❤ The theme music instantaneously takes me back to happier times. I have seen every episode but I still love binge watching it on PlutoTV. I just can’t get enough of the nostalgia. I find myself falling asleep with the TV to Unsolved Mysteries and here it is, 2023.
Hell yeah ❤ my favorite mystery show from my childhood thanks for memories 🎉.
One of the best shows. Grew up watching this, and spurred my love for true crime, mystery. The level of production is amazing.
Excellent documentary!! Thank you for the insights. Passing this on to my fam and friends. This show was a huge part of my childhood. Born in 1980
Thank you so much for posting this 🍿
Much appreciation to everyone who worked so hard on this show. I love the actors and bad wigs, it's part of the charm. So many memories of watching this show with my family as a kid. Thank you!
As a youngster I was always fascinated by unsolved mysteries. 47 now and I still watch it. This show was ahead of it’s time indeed
Thanks from Sydney Australia
Great documentary! Much love from a fan in Finland!
All I gotta say is there will never be another show like unsolved mysteries I vividly remember watching this show when I was 9 years old and became so intrigued by it 💯💕💕💕💕💕✨✨✨✨and Robert stack definitely had the greatest impact on the show because his voice was the icing on the cake continue resting comfortably in heaven Robert you are so deeply loved and missed 🕊️❤️🌹
I really enjoyed this. I'm an Unsolved Mysteries fan. Thank you
Thanks for uploading!
I truly wish that someone would do this show over again with new cases. Rachel Cooke, Jennifer Kesse, Amy Bradley, Brandi Wells etc.
Amy Bradley went over the side of the ship. Parents can't accept it. Sad but that's my HO.
Fantastic tribute! Hearing Robert Stack's iconic voice brought back fond childhood memories of watching this in the 80s.
this show is a legend no one will ever host it like robert did rest in peace to a legend
Gotta be one of my faves shows of all time..and dont get me started on that intro theme music😅..scared the hell outta me as kid.
