True. Are you from South Auckland? I wonder if you know this people from New Zealand documentary ”hip hop crime wave” ? I think SBS Australia did a documentary in Otara ”gangsters paradise” maybe you know these guys in the video. Best regards, you do nice video, Im from Sweden, But Im a big fan of New Zealand.
Solid brother i actually live in Maraenui napier was a member of the Mob most of my life but got saved by jesus christ and he changed my life, love the area i live in and all the positive things happening such a blessing to see the brothers making moves much love an Godbless
Sending love to you brother
Praise God 🙏🔥
Hearty brother. I am in awe of your change and your truth. Blessings to you and your family
I used to stay in marewa but go down to the bball courts at Fitzgerald park. And there was a pad right next to the park where mob members used to drink outside and watch us jam especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Would always go hard when they were watching because the commentary from them was priceless 😂 man, fond memories down in maraenui for sure.
Praise the Lord
i cant fathom that in NZ a young lady, Ariki Rigby, was butchered in the most vile manner and justice has not yet been served, this is a horror story you read about from war zones......not New Zealand, RIP rest with the Lord Ariki
NZ very dark history suicide capital of the world, dark history in havelock north , witchcraft capital ruclips.net/video/Nvo6A7EGL5U/видео.htmlfeature=shared
That how they roll.if u not a dog your nothing.clowns😂
RIP..ARIKI RIGBY...

My father and older brother fell victim to the gang life in hawkesbay they got killed so in retaliation i went the same way but stopped as i didnt wanna be the same God helped me through and is helping me now All Glory to the most high
I was born in hastings raised in auckland now ive been in aus one year. My old lady commited suicide 4years ago and this podcast hit real hard 💯
aw man i hope you're all good
Came to Sydney in '82 and had 9 son's and 3 daughter's. Only arrest in the whanau was me in '83. My greatest act, was keeping 9 Maori tama growing up in Sydney out of trouble. I'm a 'No Buts' falla like my father and koro. Teach them why thinking in absolute terms is important. Eventually they all arrive at the conclusion that the Bible is true and God is watching. Love your mahi bro. 🙏👊💪🇳🇿
Growing up in Papakura in the 90s I thought i had it hard (and I did at times) but watching these hood diaries gives you a different perspective of everyones struggles and makes me humble so much love bruv and keep up the good work
South Auckland ain’t shit come to gizzy😂 real gangstas killings every month real slums
@@rayhunapo9154 I'd wish you'd talk like this in SA 00s 90s and 80s. You'd be dead SA was no joke back then.
I grew up in Sth Akd, moved to Sydney 24yrs ago.
So good to see people in other towns around NZ of the same demographics doing positive in the community. We are in desperate need of strong leaders, attitudes reflect leadership.
Keep up the good work whanau / aiga.
As a fellow 501 i can truely appreciate your journey to success, away from failing as they wanted us to.
Keep it up my bro & keep on proving them wrong!
I was brought up in Flaxmere & Hastings had the best upbringing there even made it into the Hawkes Bay Softball Rep team back in my days lol always love coming back home 👍🏾
I was born and raised in Brisbane but spent about a year and a half living and working in Hastings between 2022-2023, i met my partner in brisbane during covid who's from Hawkes Bay and she brought me over to spend some time with family, loved every moment in hastings, everyone was super nice and the weather was awesome. Made some great mates over there and can't wait to visit again soon!
Chur my brother, what a great video. I was the milk boy for Mayfair in the late 80"s till the mid 90's. It was always a good place.
And Sterling...dude...I am pretty sure I played Rugby with him when Ebbet Park and Park Vale couldn't form a team...my old man coached it... Dude I miss home so much. Thankyou. Kia Kaha
OH this made me miss home my bor.. So happy you went to our hoods in the sunny HawksBay. Hastings/Flaxmere for ever 🤟
That's what I was thinking bro. Took me 22 years to come back and it changed so much but was mean to go back to Havelock North and Hastings
Thank you for your work man, this sort of content should be on the 6pm news every night and what a different world it would be.
I was born in gizzy but raised in Hawkes bay most of my life. It can be abit rough in some places but I’ll always call it home. A lot of good memories there and same bad ones too. Always had a large gang culture but now days it’s all over the place. I’d probably never live back there because of it but I’ll always call it home. Much love brother Dave
Im from hakesbay napier and moved to gizzy Gizzy is home now will never move back to hawkesbay to KYT FO LYFE
@@totothebeast7819 KYT for lyf 💯
Good men. Good men. Helping others. Respect. Respect.
I'm a fellow brother in Christ from Whangarei. I love hearing testimonies of how Jesus has changed the lives of the broken-hearted. Great to see God move within the Maori population too. Bless you brother

Watching from Perth 🦘 Visited Napier/Hastings as a kid and have fond memories. God Bless all the positive role models featured here. One Way Jesus 🙏👑
Blessing to you for sharing their story. I’ve love this series and I commend all the people down there fighting the good fight. Stay focussed and on track you guys. You are all doing amazing things for the children and your community. You are all worthy.
Grew up in Camberley with a few of the mongrel mob bros around Moa Place. I was lucky enough to make it to University which changed the course of my life. Living abroad now. However, every time I'm in NZ, I always make a stop in Camberley. Took my daughter to Kirkpatrick Park last time I was there. Great memories. Camberley,is always home 👌.
Lol Moa place was the best!!! 😂
@@AngeleeneTeTonga-mb3nd I still miss those days.
@@afasetu8632 Yeah those were the good times. Its been 20 plus years since though... I lived next to the Rowlands and met up with uncle Rayza at a party last year here in Australia 😂 🤙 🤙
@@AngeleeneTeTonga-mb3nd
It's been 17 years for me. I think they still have a couple of families still living on Moa Place, from the time we were there.
My fav vlog to watch straight up! Keep that fire coming bro.
Have you tried to get any patch members to do walkthroughs with you and get their stories on the history behind their chapters and neighbourhoods they grew up in I know a lot won’t speak on camera but getting real stories from brothers that walk that life and are still members would be interesting
No these are hood diaries, it’s more about the community as a whole. If it was a gang thing it would be called gang diaries ❤
The Maraenui Napier part are patch members one is the prez
awesome video, cant wait for the next!!

Always heard HB was a hearty place, definitely know you will be visiting porirua soon🤙 mean
Good to see home for sure, been in oz too long!
Some vlogs in Opotiki, Murupara, Kawerau, Gizzy would be on, probably the roughest places i've been.
Kaikohe too💯
@@againstallodds6407 ye true actually
Imo I think hoods are rough coming from an outsider looking in, but born and raised hood is just a normal part of their life and society.
What are the roughest hoods outside of Auckland would you say if u had to give a top 5
@@stephenheatley9380 #1 Opotiki - it has the highest homicide rate and violent crime rate in the country #2 Wairoa - most notorious "gang town" in all of nz and gang warfare that stretches decades back, while only being tiny. #3 Kawerau/Murupara - Kawerau's a town controlled by MM and is basically an extension of Whakatane which is a BP stronghold causing tons of tension. Murupara's a very rural type of rough and is home to the tribesmen. Probably one of the visually roughest n poorest towns I've been but it has cleaned quite a bit recently. #4 Gisborne - one of the biggest hoods in nz and a centre point for east coast gangs. #5 Rotorua - highest crime rate city in nz. There's actually some decent places in rotos but recently tons of crimz have moved into Ford block's motels which are being used as emergency housing that was originally used by/for backpackers before Covid hit..... There's some actual 3rd world looking towns I would've added to the list but they're just too small and rural to be called a hood or whatever.
Primo hood tour's my bro much love an respect
Life is a Gift- So keep your Gift. inspiring video cuzz
Nice work Dave 🙂
I haven't been home for many years but this video I really like as it's my Mum's country and she always spoke highly of Hastings and the people I thank everyone who was involved with this video U mob really relaxed about all the info of that area both positive and negative- Aroha goes out to the family of that young lady who was gruesomely murdered I hope they find the perpetrator- Te ko tahi Tanga - thanks for your truth and cool way of the whole video
Mean as guys that was awesome brought a tear to my heart. Grew up In Wainuiomata though but could feel the same vibes.
Some beautiful beautiful men on and around you bro. Was awesome to see there’s hope in this world.

Awesome VLOG Brother, I grew up in Flaxmere , Pool St a house on the corner across from the shops in the early 80s, late 90s moving around different streets Margate Ave, Cortes Crescent didn’t really think of it as a hood then, brought back a lot of memories though good ones keep up the good work brother.

Hamiltons rough as bro I'm in chartwell lol and not a fan of most of the city lol
Be interesting to see part of the window washer communities stories in Hamilton. See them heaps and hear stories from the olds but can never be too sure unless it's from the horses mouth
Hamiltons fxxkd too mbros everywhere is...
Even get kidnappings on the North Shore be vigilant whanau. ..

Chur I was brought up in Bledisloe Street I remember going down those streets to school. Chur bro cobham st was our way home. Farout bro gives me chills. Seeing the old hood.... I went to Ebbett park school heretaunga and then hastings boys high then fostered out to waipawa and went to Central Hawkes bay college.Camberly remember the houstons they used to let me have lunch at their house everyday of school I remember haviong cheese and jam samwiches. The albert hotel across the road from the old cafe food store everyone went to on dole day we used to get our tinnies from the Albert Hotel. I used to sleep under the bushes at cornwall park next to the glass house under the trees. I wonder if Marleen and Bruce live in Flaxmere. We used to call Flaxmere Blaxmere back in the day Your bringing back some memories. I left and went to live on the streets of auckland in 1980 at the age of 15 I was living on the streets in hastings apparently I was the first streetkid in Hastings living in cornwall park and it a carpark by the old woolworths and the bowling club. I remember living in a kids park fort in Flaxmere and my friend Staffy and his Mum Carol(R.I.P) took me in and gave me a home and somewhere to lay my head Staying at the Wirihanas they looked after me for a while in flaxmere. Carol took in other streetkids apparently I was her first streetkid resident and she helped others afterwards. Man memories for me totally makeing me now think about my childhood. The good and the bad,
I was a street kid back in 85 in Wellington. There was so many of us it just wasn't funny. I've only stayed at the marae in Hastings once. I have nothing but love for them. ❤

Chhuurr mean watch brother, we too nearly fell victim to the street life growing up, blessed to have our grandparents who tried their hardest to guide us towards the light, sadly as they do they passed away (2 out of 4) but that's when reality hit and the realization that no one but ourselves can help us! That's us at the 29 minute mark trying our hardest to make something of our lives. So non hit us up if you need your lawns done haha. Jah Jah Whānau.
