Thanks for watching. No these motor are brushless...you can have a rare case of the module under the steering column failling. Good luck.. Also make sure your battery is in good condition and the alternator too.
@@PSICompanyPerformance thanks, i have another question, when I turn the steering wheel quickly to the left I have a creaking noise and sometimes the red steering wheel light appears on the dashboard, but when I turn off the ignition and turn the ignition on again I have direction again. Is it possible that it is the relays that you show in the video?
Thanks for watching In 2004 the motor is diferent and i never had an issue with those but i had issues with the module under the steering wheel..good luck
thanks for watching. 2004 Punto i think uses a little diferent motor thyat has no relays on them....if thats the case the problem is going to be the control module located under the steering wheel. good luck

Even when you test the relay some times when they get hot they fail.. Have you checked the solder points with a magnifying glass...its the most common issue.
@@PSICompanyPerformance I did re soldering all the join, also checked if relay click with 12v. Its make the click noise , so I assume its good. Then I tried it. But unfortunately I didn't worked.

13:30 The 4117-U-Z relay is equivalent to V23072-C1061-A308. Nowadays it is very difficult to find the original for sale. Thanks for the video.

On the road while driving, the steering wheel became very hard after I turned off the car, it was fixed but it did it again later fiat punto evo 2010
