man its aweseome Ayaneo sent out their device to you. you've become one of my favorite retro game channels and i hope other companies take notice and start sending you early review units and what not. you're always making great videos
I'm not NA based, so to me it actually resembles an old cassette player more than anything. Mostly the Philips one we had at home when I was a kid. To be fair, that old tape muncher carries more nostalgia for me than the NES. Great design.
Shucks wasn't fast enough to be number one this time😂 Love all the videos. They make my day every time you post a new one. Thank you! I love your humor🎉
That's one pretty mini PC, I don't need it but I kind of want it, I hope they keep doing that kind of good looking machines, also I hope that you're gonna continue making videos, they're really entertaining to watch, I always have a smirk on my face that won't go away when I watch them, you're awesome, btw congrats on 69k subs (nice)
As a memory validation technician, I almost spit out my coffee when you said "5600 mega 'things' per second" Marketing ALWAYS wants to call it Mhz, but It's mega transfers. Don't worry I wasn't mad. I almost spit up the coffee laughing. HIGH end Intel memory engineers just call it "speed" like "5600 speed DIMMs" I suspect because they are tired of everyone making their own units.
Looks like a cross between a TOS tricorder and a 80's video cassette machine. No Oculink is a shame, but it's not a deal-breaker for this cool little machine.
It does hurt, although i just checked the link and it's 439 with no ram or ssd and early bird indie gogo price, it looks really worth it to add them ourselves
I hope that there will be a refresh of this PC at some point with the newer gen processors, because the overall concept is awesome! but as you stated the price can be quite high
Oh man it looks lovely! I love the power button, not sure why, but I love how it looks. Great review. I would so buy one if I could. Add 64GB and 4TB of SSD and enjoy life or something. Thanks for the video.
Love the content as usual; very entertaining. One concern; how do you know that you didn't inadvertently teach your secret handshake to an imposter? Keep the content coming.
I really appreciate the pocket test on this device, I was thinking about making it my main portable driver but if it doesn’t fit in my pocket there’s no way this desktop PC will replace my Miyoo Mini 😂
I got the Barebones version, added a 4tb SSD and 32gb ram, Windows 11 Pro and it's awesome. Currently trying a Batocera 1tb build booting from external ssd for my emulation needs.
Was that really difficult? I’m in need of a new computer, would love to start pc gaming, and don’t have a huge budget or lots of technological skill to build my own pc.
For a retro PC at this price I would expect full-on retro support, like analog A/V outs, composite component SCART etc. If all it does is doing is HDMI, I don’t really get the appeal of using this instead of any other more reasonably priced SBC with a retro case. It would be a fraction of the cost and deliver the same performance. Hell I could play NES on my old Pentium 1 via Nesticle back in the day.
@12:05 - The Ayaneo software is "entirely optional"? I doubt that. It's obviously going to be needed for the screen, the feature that sets it apart from other mini-PCs (which has the negative of meaning that you're stuck with Windows 11 - 😥 no replacing it with a Linux on this one 😥).
Well, like any other windows pc you can simply put Linux on a separate drive and boot to that instead so in essence, you're not necessarily "stuck" to using windows.
@@lexlopez15 Yes, obviously. However, you're likely to need their custom software to run the screen and its controls, therefore you are stuck with Windows 11 if you want to use the feature that is front and center of most of its promotion...
@@ogrejd sounds like you're crying over milk that hasn't even spilled yet...linux being open sourced, it's likely that someone somewhere will figure out a way to use the embedded screen just like they have found alternatives for windows and macs since day 1... and if they don't, what are you really losing? Info on the computer's internal specs which you can get the same thing by docking a widget somewhere on your monitor screen? Come on dude. The little info screen is the deal breaker here? The little screen that you physically have to get up or bend over to look at the temp and frames counter? Do you spend more time looking at what you're actually doing on your pc monitor or your pc's internal info?? Where's the logic in that?😕...if you do then you have some internal issues to worry about, and i don't mean from the pc... I suggest betterhelp .com.🩺🩻💊
I can't figure out how to show custom images on the mini screen like their marketing shows, the big "PLAY" button for example. Is that just false advertising / not possible?
I went for the barebones, got my own Corsair 32gb and 4tb…Batocera as dedicated os. Kicks ass and the only device I can get Pilotwings 64 on without the shadow glitch
Hey, they can add a flashing time option. I miss my old VCR flashing at me incessantly just waiting and hoping I'd set the time. Someday. Sorry SONY Betamax SL-2300.
I owned the AM01 but was unhappy with the performance, this one is way better in many ways, the design is great and all but the price is still way to high for the specs, unfortunately
This is nice but not sure this is what I need. can you recommend me a mini pc that can emulate ps3 and xbox 360 at 1080p at fullspeed?? I'm currently looking at a minisforum um780 xtx.
Cool, but Ayaneo cranks out way too many products for my liking. Makes me worried about quality control when theres always something new around the corner with them.
I still think Ayanoe need a linux port of there software, if windows decide put more stuff in to windows harder to remove take up performance as they don't need to wait for steam os to do so.

Thanks for saying so buddy!
Absolutly loving the retro DOS build.
I'm not NA based, so to me it actually resembles an old cassette player more than anything. Mostly the Philips one we had at home when I was a kid. To be fair, that old tape muncher carries more nostalgia for me than the NES. Great design.
Out of all of the Mini PCs that you’ve reviewed, THIS is the one that has my attention (mainly because of the retro vibe and the actual SCREEN)
Shucks wasn't fast enough to be number one this time😂 Love all the videos. They make my day every time you post a new one. Thank you! I love your humor🎉
Thanks buddy!
Watch out for USB A-holes. They are everywhere. LOL
Love this channel so much Dweeb ❤

Wow. You are right. This thing and the hyperspin and you could have and play just about everything for under 1k
First time finding your channel. sweeeet. your comic delivery reminds me a lot of Bob Newhart. Also great tech!

It's always an awesome thing to get a dweeby video in the morning! 😁💜
That little thing DOES look pretty sweet! 💚
Looks more like a high end VCR to me definitely retro vibes!
There's a lot to like about this one, really digging the style they got going!
I never knew of so many A-holes in such a tiny space! 😂
Every time Dweeby said A-hole I cracked up laughing 😂
Awesome! I love PC gaming as much as I love gaming handhelds.
you shouldn't have filmed your secret handshake
Gotta love those extra A-holes
Great review!!
Looks like a cross between a TOS tricorder and a 80's video cassette machine. No Oculink is a shame, but it's not a deal-breaker for this cool little machine.
I needs that dos build! ;) no space for a retro pc so i dusted off an old laptop waiting for part 2!
Awesome little thingy. I love it. 😎👍💯
Ouch, that price hurts! Would be a great deal for 5 hundos.
It does hurt, although i just checked the link and it's 439 with no ram or ssd and early bird indie gogo price, it looks really worth it to add them ourselves
it's not as much as buying a PS5 or Xbox Series S or X, but you can't find handheld devices in Walmart or Best Buy, that's the only let down
@rileyredcrane2004 lol those examples are all cheaper than this pc
Does it? Its a Ryzen 7 pc. Pretty fair price that's in line with other devices with the same processor.
I hope that there will be a refresh of this PC at some point with the newer gen processors, because the overall concept is awesome! but as you stated the price can be quite high
Stop it! You're not an old man. We're the same age and that would mean I am an old man, and I refuse to believe that.
How young are you? ;) ☮️
Definitely looks good with the retro look.
Great video and refreshing style. Good job.
I feel an impulse buy coming on... why TechDweeb, why?!
Yeah sorry about that 😬
It looks so cute. I think I like how the other retro-ey mini pc looked better, though.
Yeah this one feels a bit to 'cool' for me. I like the power, but I need 10% more dork.
Getting it and the 12tb hard drive should be fun
Solid combo!
when I first heard "usb a-holes", I was like what did the usb did to you bro. but then I realized, "ohhh, usb-a holes" now it makes sense lol
Oh man it looks lovely! I love the power button, not sure why, but I love how it looks.
Great review. I would so buy one if I could. Add 64GB and 4TB of SSD and enjoy life or something.
Thanks for the video.
Wish we could play 3Ds on the bottom and display ❤.

Remember an internet project back in the mid 00s where someone made an old nes into a pc, always wanted to build one but never did
I really appreciate the pocket test on this device, I was thinking about making it my main portable driver but if it doesn’t fit in my pocket there’s no way this desktop PC will replace my Miyoo Mini 😂
I mean all the other mini PCs all look rather generic and boring... Props to them for making something a little different.
I got the Barebones version, added a 4tb SSD and 32gb ram, Windows 11 Pro and it's awesome.

there are loads of tutorials on RUclips so if you are patient anyone can do it.
Cost is the issue here compared to devices like the SER5 MAX for much much less and still plays most of these consoles perfectly well.
This might be the one! This thing is awesome
If you like helsinger I do recommend BPM: BULLETS per minute, similar game. More focused on guns tho
Thank you for your video

You're a funny man. I like funny men. I think I like you ...
I wish it had hdmi 2.1 , would definitely pick one up if it did
I can't figure out how to show custom images on the mini screen like their marketing shows, the big "PLAY" button for example. Is that just false advertising / not possible?
looks cool
There’s lots of people saying they received lemon units and it’s no longer for sale, have you had any issues?
Just a Oculink port and this would have been perfect! But it's absolutely awesome ❤
Usb a holes, congrats on not laughing! I couldn’t do it!
I went for the barebones, got my own Corsair 32gb and 4tb…Batocera as dedicated os. Kicks ass and the only device I can get Pilotwings 64 on without the shadow glitch
Beauty!
Haha that stripped orange shirt you wear reminds me of Freddy Krueger in nightmare in elmstreet movies.
Wana see a video were you turn one of these mini PCs into a portable console with power banks a portable monitor and a controller in a backpack 🎒😄
Wait, y is
red butoon, not the power button
It looks like it can play minecraft Java and more . I'll take it ❤❤
I just got a HX100G, a tiny little 720p/768p monster playing on my stone age HD TV.
Hey, they can add a flashing time option. I miss my old VCR flashing at me incessantly just waiting and hoping I'd set the time. Someday. Sorry SONY Betamax SL-2300.
Want it. Haven't even heard the specs.
Looks like the beta max (top loader) I used to have in the days.
I mean this in the best way, you could voice act a Smiling Friends character
You remind me of that one character from stray. I think named ellie or some thing. Super into tech. Anyways great video
If ya like hellsinger, take a peek at BPM: bullets per minute.
Based on what design mini PC and emulation devices and Pi cases mostly use, Its easy to see who won the 8-bit console wars, maybe even 16-bit.
Good point
16 giggle bites 😂 love it
Looks like a VCR too!
Hi, will the DOS staging tutorial/guide video be out this week? Got a mini pc earmarked for that
Either late this week or early next. Stay tuned!
I wonder if Aya space works on other pcs.
With you on survival games. They're too grindy for me.
I know a few USB A HOLES!!!!
You talked about the front usb holes, but I wondered if the front usb c hole was usb 4 or not.
Yoo, has anyone tried to run those 12tb retro hard drives on a dev mode Xbox series x. I know its strong enough just dont know if its compatible.
Where can we get that retro game drive?!?!
Nice.
I owned the AM01 but was unhappy with the performance, this one is way better in many ways, the design is great and all but the price is still way to high for the specs, unfortunately
Surely that's VCR inside, not nes??
How much ram can DIY-CRAMMM?
Which one would you recommend between this and beelink ser7?
They're probably about the same performance-wise. Beelink makes great PCs. However I'd personally go for this one because I love the style.
What about DOS emulation??
This is nice but not sure this is what I need. can you recommend me a mini pc that can emulate ps3 and xbox 360 at 1080p at fullspeed?? I'm currently looking at a minisforum um780 xtx.
Is that an Ayaneo AM02 in your pocket or are you just excited to see me?
Cool, but Ayaneo cranks out way too many products for my liking. Makes me worried about quality control when theres always something new around the corner with them.
Are you not able to get a CAD affiliate link for Canada (for shopping). Great vudei as akwats
AMO2 is such a Linux gaming powerhouse. Even DOS Box runs better under Linux.
can you do a geekom A7 review?
So is this even better then the beelink mini pc?
Those USB A holes, man....
NEW VIDEO :DDDD
I LOVE IT! But I don't like the 500$ price tag :P
I still think Ayanoe need a linux port of there software, if windows decide put more stuff in to windows harder to remove take up performance as they don't need to wait for steam os to do so.
USB A-Hole 😂😂😂
U r is my favorite
Does it have 2x 2.5 gbit lan ??
The preorder link is missing.
How much?
Another techdweeb video while I wait for my visual studio to restart and eventually crash at work again and aggressively munch on a granola bar with a cup of coffee? Yes please!
Btw, which need for speed and gran turismo games of the past did you adore the most?
Good morning
☕
@@TechDweebty for the coffee and a way to pass the time as I wakeup
"two usb A-holes"
The price is an instant nope and Aya Neo need to stop pumping out a new product every 15 seconds
U said 2 usb "a-holes" lol
