Shore Lunch beer batter makes awesome onion nuggets! What's an onion nugget? Cut a peeled onion(make sure to lose the outer tough layer!) and cut in 1" squares, beer batter and pan or deep fry!
dunk it in the bottom a couple times, pull it up a foot and jerk it around abit, then keep it still. wiggle the rod tip just a little bit and wait, start over.
