Of all the BEST female singers in their prime, Regina Belle has to be in the top 10 easily. Her voice is magic...I saw on Unsung, where a record company pursued her and she did'nt even have a demo. When a record company is pursuing YOU....you know you can SANG!!!

Apollo was jumping that night!!! I wasn’t there but you can feel the bass from the speakers as well as the soul in her voice all through that building. That was probably one of her biggest nights in the world I bet. She had the crowd so mesmerized that that l they didn’t even clap. They just looked.. that’s power. To most they think she had to work hard for that applause but the truth is when you got a crowd sometimes they’re just caught in the zone and just stare. This was flawless!!! Even the freestyling at the end. If you were in that place that night you felt a higher power in there. Her voice is pure energy. Gives life!!

Go 'head on, girl. She really brought her A-game to the _Apollo_ and basically nailed it. In other words, she to' that shit up. Great vocal performance. She sounds so pretty when she sings in those low tones. The bottom end of her voice is so warm and full. She managed to eclipse what she did on record.
