Great vid I'm so glad you started with water. New painters often start with alco thinners and flow improvers/drying retarders that change the drying time and cause a host of problems for them. Also another top tip from you for new painters to build a mix/recipe book for paints. It's so important.
Great information, your idea of using a stainless steel hex nut as an agitator is genius. I used the 5.5 mm balls in my small bottles, and they stopped the paint from dispensing.
Dred you Are excellent, very straight forward and good learning skilles for me as a total newbie. Question, what do the ISO when mixing and also the flow additiver, never heard of it here i Denmark. Thank` for a channel I can't resist to look at every day now.
Rob, quick question. Have you ever tried mummy inks or dr Phil inks? I find they work as well as FW but abit pricey. The pigment on mummy seem more refined
@dredfxcustompaint I bought mummy and Dr Phil on Amazon. I really think you would like mummy. Comes in many colors also. The dr Phil seems more transparent using same thinning recipient you use but the mummy seems more opaque than fw. My reason for stating a more refined pigment. They both come in pipette type glass bottle as fw but my mummy were purchased in plastic. Give the black mummy a go. I'd bet a penny you will be extremely satisfied with this ink.
You can also buy the mummy in premixed shading Grey's. Comes in a set of five Grey's from very light to almost black. There's also a set of blacks from basic black to very very black
@@HellRainGod Possibly depending on the type of paint. But I would mix inks with another ink. In fact, Rob did just that in the video - mixed red ink with black ink to make the red a little darker.
@@witnessftp i might try the inks, as inks, and try mix, might be handy doing both, depending on what i spraying,,, thanks for some advice, but am sill on the noob step for now with🤣
Hello, how are things going? I wanted to ask you about iwata cm-sb2. I would like us to be able to contact each other and for you to tell me a little more about it because I have some questions about why the box in this version is silver in some and red in another, what difference is there? Please leave me some way to contact us, I would appreciate it.
Great information thanks for information.

@@HarrisonDavies hi not with the pearlescent I would use there reducer of that one
@@dredfxcustompaint thanks Mate. Great channel. Just about watched every video. Soaking up your wisdom.
Hi, am still a newbie to airbrushing so i much to learn, and mixing actual ink with paint?, printer ink?, any ink?,
i see fw ink on amazon, so they just colour inks not paint?, obviously add to paint, now am off the noob step?,
@@HellRainGod If you view some of Rob's other videos, he thins and then sprays his FW inks. He does not add them to paint.
@@witnessftp thanks, but can you add ink through paint?,
