Muhammad Hazarul Yeah, at the start of the year there was a lot of Future Bass. I think it has gotten better, but I really want to see more House and Progressive House coming out of Monstercat. Haven't seen any of that lately.

Collabs are exceptions. 3. Monstercat doesn't make songs, it's a record label. Thank the artists. GQ is an exception. 4. Loved this mix. Many of the new artists didn't get in, but they probably will next year. Not the best mix (Best of 2014 IMO), but very well executed. Thank you Monstercat!

Aww, Imperfect Views didn't make it? That song was an EDM masterpiece, there's truly no other song like it. Well, I can't complain too much because this album is composed of some pretty great tracks. Even if I voted for some songs that didn't make it, I guess I can still listen to them normally. Drytoxiccube I mean, its good, but its not that unique and you can tell Rogue didn't put all of his effort into making Nemesis. On the other hand, Imperfect Views is completely original and Rogue probably gave it his all when making that song.

I thought BAMF was probably their best Dubstep song this year if you don't include the remix of juices. The rest I hated. I disliked nemesis but still I thought so far 028, 029 & 030 have been great or in 030 & 029s case, amazing! I just really really really really hated 027
I found out about Monstercat earlier this year and I can honestly say that it has changed my life! I just wanted to say to all of the artists and community thank you for being a huge part of my life. The experiences I've had with this community have been amazing.
This was definetly the best year for me. I loved EVERY TRACK! In this album mix. 2016 (since i was stupid) is where i finally understood how the album mixes work. Also. First Best of mix ive listened to. All the songs had this flow that made them all sync perfectly. Im glad to be part of this family. And im proud that Monstercat is a thing. ^^
I think the first Monstercat Album mix I ever listened to was the Connection Mix of 022 Contact (since I discovered this channel around like a week before the 022 Album came out). :)

Stanisław Czuprynski Randomness. I was somewhat into Java, so I took that, and flipped it for whatever reason. I got out of it quickly, so I don't know anymore. I guess it's a cup pouring out a liquid.
I'm actually in love with this mix. I'm actually satisfied having Gorilla Glue, Electric Heart and OK on here. I'm glad Superstar, Checkpoint and On Fire are on there (since I voted for those songs), FIGHT and Showdown as well. :) I liked the transition from FIGHT to Checkpoint, and from Rare to Tunnel Vision.
Really upset Protostar didn't get on here. But Alone did. And only one Stonebank song? But all negative things aside, I had a ton of favorites this year. And I hope for more good stuff from Monstercat!
Unfortunately, they set restrictions so that only one song per artist got on excluding collabs. So only one Stonebank song could get on (trust me, I was sad too). Echoes of the Past couldn't make it either because it's from 030, which is spilling over into next year and will be a part of the Best of 2017 album. But, here's to hoping EotP makes it onto that album! :D
Alone got on here because it had 50 million views and was still getting even 1 million views per day, so there was really no chance of it not making it..
Usually, I'm more addicted to the 2017 mix quite often (probably because of Dion Timmer and Notaker made it there and other new powerful artists as well), but this "Monstercat - Best of year" mix gives me a fair amount of nostalgic, having Nitro Fun, Noisestorm, Richard Caddok, Grabbitz and Hellberg. :)
When I listen to this while I grind homework I get so much done. I start this and replay it if needed, a few hours later all of the homework that I procrastinated on is done thanks to this xD

I'm actually in love with this mix. I'm actually satisfied having Gorilla Glue, Electric Heart and OK on here. I'm glad Superstar, Checkpoint and On Fire are on there (since I voted for those songs), FIGHT and Showdown as well. :)
I liked the transition from FIGHT to Checkpoint, and from Rare to Tunnel Vision.
Really upset Protostar didn't get on here. But Alone did. And only one Stonebank song?
But all negative things aside, I had a ton of favorites this year. And I hope for more good stuff from Monstercat!

Unfortunately, they set restrictions so that only one song per artist got on excluding collabs. So only one Stonebank song could get on (trust me, I was sad too). Echoes of the Past couldn't make it either because it's from 030, which is spilling over into next year and will be a part of the Best of 2017 album. But, here's to hoping EotP makes it onto that album! :D
Alone got on here because it had 50 million views and was still getting even 1 million views per day, so there was really no chance of it not making it..

Usually, I'm more addicted to the 2017 mix quite often (probably because of Dion Timmer and Notaker made it there and other new powerful artists as well), but this "Monstercat - Best of year" mix gives me a fair amount of nostalgic, having Nitro Fun, Noisestorm, Richard Caddok, Grabbitz and Hellberg. :)
When I listen to this while I grind homework I get so much done. I start this and replay it if needed, a few hours later all of the homework that I procrastinated on is done thanks to this xD
