Ah, so I've finally got my question answered! All these McDonald's toys that featured the McDonaldLand gang were from the UK! I guess the UK was unable to get the rights to manufacture toys based on licensed franchises, so they settled for what they could do.
McDonald’s gotta bring Ronald and these characters all back! And the restaurants need their colorful buildings back
