About the bowling ball material: Bowling ball material may be thought of as two independent components of a bowling ball, the coverstock and the inner-core material. Bowling ball material is essentially all poly-urethane based products. These products include additive materials and curing process variations, particularly for the coverstocks, yielding calculated designs in the final bowling ball construction. The ball had a hell of a chin, and I didn’t think it would have the gas tank to make it to the championship rounds. Kudos to the corner for not throwing in the towel. At -7000 we knew the shredder was a heavy favorite, but I think we all expected the quick knockout in the first round or two. I was surprised to see it go the distance, but this sport is unpredictable, and that’s why I love it so much.
