Well done!! My older sister taught me to make a turkey over the phone many years ago, she was so patient thankfully cause i called her every 10 minutes to make sure i was doing correctly lol
I remember when you were at the Pet Expo in Canada and you said that Eric didn’t know what Jarlic was. I didn’t know what it was either, until today & even then I had to think about it for a couple minutes. 😅😅 You’re adorable Jess. I love your sense of humor. Anyway, a couple years ago I hosted Thanksgiving for just me, my husband and father in law. (My mother in law passed away in 2020 from colon cancer. I miss her so much). I made a turkey breast in our Instant Pot. That was so good!
What a gorgeous, glorious bird. Julia Child would be proud. She once said if you have a fear of failure, you're never gonna learn how to cook. Watch her cook chicken sometime. I was just thinking how wonderful that herbed butter would be delicious for a roast chicken (or use it on biscuits, too). I helped my late paternal grandmother one year make a turkey dinner. Happy memories. We made oyster stuffing, and that was absolutely delicious.
I can cook a turkey but this year I'll be using your recipe, it looks absolutely scrumptious! 😛 And you definitely have the best kitchen, and living room, helpers, lol. ❤🐾
Awwww I love this! If you REALLY want to see more of them, we also have two other channels they are on all the time! ruclips.net/user/snowdogsvlogs is our vlog channel and ruclips.net/user/gonetothesnowdogs which is their channel. :)
I did a turkey breast with the lemon and herbs. It was awesome! I will need to cook a turkey breast this year so thank you for the video! Cooking is not as easy even for people who grew up in restaurants! Pets to the kitchen helpers! Michelle from Omaha.
Looks delicious! I'm definitely doing this with my turkey this year. Does it matter what kind of apple you use? I was thinking of a granny smith or a macintosh.
@SnowDogsCooking i figured it was just thought it might have something else in it because I usually have dehydrated and that looked like it had more liquid than I am use to
When I was in Boy Scouts, we would have a massive Thanksgiving cookout as our November camping trip. We would stand our turkeys up, after pulling out all the insides, and then open a can of orange soda and have the turkey sit on the open can with a tented aluminum foil over the top. Very juicy.
they say to roast breadt down so juices can soak into breast so 1 year we tried n yes it worked but we could not bast breast n no crispy skin for those who want the crispy skin
Also, if any of your fans ,who would like to send dog treats, is any one of your dogs allergic to any seasoning or flavors or any type of like fruits or veggies or meat? For any dog treats that we would like to send to them.

By the way, Love the new sink!❤❤
Oh thanks! We bought it a long time ago, and finally installed it!
Amazing looking turkey and I take your word it smells amazing!!
It is so good!
@@SnowDogsCooking I'll probably let my family know about this recipe.
Yum! Looks great!
Thanks so much!
I have that same pan n the bigger one like that it was my grandma lil was for small turkey or chickens I bought big one
I agree more garlic never to much.lol
That looks amazing. 😍 Also what did you guys do for the stuffing? Home made or box?
I am not a fan of Stuffing, Jamie LOVES box stuffing!
Looks delicious! I'm definitely doing this with my turkey this year. Does it matter what kind of apple you use? I was thinking of a granny smith or a macintosh.
You can use whatever you would like!
it goes to my dogs too but this year Nas I only bought a turkey breadt no one wants the dark meat n I made turkey broth last year n canned it
Do you also do the Christmas ham? The best ham on the planet 🎉.
Oh we should!
i love garlic so id guess id probably like jarlic
It's just garlic, in a jar!
@SnowDogsCooking i figured it was just thought it might have something else in it because I usually have dehydrated and that looked like it had more liquid than I am use to
This looks good but my favorite way to cook a turkey is on my Weber charcoal smoker. Low and slow for the win.
That's a great way as well. The purpose of this was to show an easy way for those who might be intimidated when making them!
Love the flag ❤
Next, is to make your own cooking 🍳 class😁
I wish we had time for that!

We have done that with Chicken many times!
if memory serves 20min per lb but I do thermometer too
I said in the video the average for how long per pound. 13 - 15 minutes per pound. 20 minutes per and you might end up with some pretty dry turkey.
At first I thought you said jar lick for the garlic
I did say Jarlick.
@ ok, I’ve never heard it said like that.
It's garlic. . . in a jar. . . so it's Jarlick.
@@SnowDogsCooking I love it
@@SnowDogsCooking that looks good Jess

They have no allergies! :)
Ok, that is really good to know 👍😁👍
I just wanted to make sure. Because there are dog treats that, like us people, that they can be allergic to.

We made a bunch of others stuff, we didn't show everything in this video. Our purpose here was to show how to make the Turkey. :)
No pets in the kitchen while you are cooking. WE don't do that
Thankfully we love having our dogs around! AND, this is our kitchen, not yours! Don't worry though, you aren't allowed. :P heheheh
You don’t have. Thanksgiving
You can still make a Turkey if you want too!
I love how active the posts have been on here 🩷🤭🥰🥹🦃
Trying for a least once a week, we will see how long I can keep up with it!
