Hey guys and gals my brothers jeep desperately needed the differential flood changed on his 1999 jeep wrangler tj i hope this helps you with redoing the gasket and replacing the fluids afterwards.

"Little metal brace" is actually an ID tag with info about your differential. Gotta clean it up to see but it'll have the gear ratio on it amongst other things.

Most try for every 40,000 km sometimes little sooner if doing allot of river crossings higher than the axles
