- How does Dragon Ball Z change if Goku killed the villains?

Goku is known for being extremely merciful and having a pretty well defined moral compass. While his morality has evolved overtime as I explained in my “Morlaity of Goku” video - it made me wonder, What If Goku killed his enemies? I’m not saying he’d go back to that right away, but what if Goku started to kill his enemies again EARLIER than he decided to in the main story. So I'm asking, "What If Goku Let Krillin Kill Vegeta?" and "What If Goku Killed Freeza on Namek?"

Alright I’m seeing a LOT of the same comments here so let me answer then:
1) Goku has killed and does kill. If you watched this video instead of just commenting, you’d realize I change Nappa, Vegeta, and make it so he NEVER spares Freeza. Watch my “Morality of Goku” video if you want my FULL analysis on his treatment of Villains overtime.
2) Future Trunks is the ORIGINAL timeline. Goku’s change of heart would be a change that splits the timeline. If you don’t like him being present, that’s fine - all it does is screw up the timeline SOONER.
3) Buu has ALWAYS been on Earth. Supreme Kai states that the shell was left there because they thought mortals would never find it. As for power, Babidi said hundreds of humans would be like SS2 Gohan so BILLIONS worldwide should be enough. If not they move planet to continue fueling. Babidi NEVER sought out Earth - Buu was there from the beginning.

Question: If trunks prevented buu from hatching in his timeline cuz supreme kai told trunks what to do, wouldn't the same happen to the present timeline and if anything beerus would have ended dbs by destroying earth cuz he would've woke up in search for a super sayain god but goku is too weak and there isnt enough sayians for the ritual so that could be the end as well

So in any case, Vegeta's survival is pretty much essential to the plot. Without him, Goku probably wouldn't have trained as hard to prepare him for the likes of Majin Buu and other future enemies, and had this lead to a possibility of Future Trunks not arriving, Goku would have lost his life to the heart virus.
Goku possibly contracted the virus on yardrat, so we could assume that he would survive the android saga without health issues

Even without Future Trunks, there's nothing stopping Future Bulma from going herself even if none of the Z fighters survive.

Guys...Future Trunks comes from an ALTERNATE timeline. Any what if I make is an ALTERNATE timeline of the MAIN timeline - meaning Future Trunks can STILL show up to an altered history in these scenarios. Future Trunks also shows up in the main timeline - a timeline where Cell had ALREADY came back from the future and thus changed history - since Future Trunks is the ORIGINAL timeline he can travel to ANY What If. This should make sense, but I guess it's not clear enough.

well technically (ive never seen the full actual series just the tfs version so excuse inaccuracys) frieza never went back to king cold to cry about goku, so there for king cold would be off idk destroying and concering more planets. although, perhaps by either reports from friezas forces or from the ginyu force, he would get knowledge about frieza being killed on namek and then hed seek information- possibly taking the dragon balls and using their wishes to bring back frieza (and his men) and then go after goku..so the only difference here is vegeta, nappa, friza, and raditz all come back and hunt down goku together. however they would promptly be defeated by goku, trunks being unwilling to kill his father and possibly persuade goku to spare vegeta, hense bringing him into the story if he was spared. however i dont know if this would prompt anyone to then prepare for buu (not by knowledge but through sheer training and stuff like that) or the rest would play out as carthu explains. @Carthu’s Dojo what do you think?
@@anionshade970 I don't think it would be that complicated. King Cold could figure out that Frieza was last seen on Namek and that he was going there for the Dragon Balls. Cold would go there, find out form the locals that his son was killed, take the Dragon Balls for himself, and kill everyone on the planet (again). I'm not sure if he'd wish Frieza back, since in the original story, Cold looked for Frieza believing that he was still alive and showed no signs of caring for him when he was killed by Trunks. Cold might revive Vegeta, but it seems more likely that he'd just use the wishes for himself, since Vegeta is just an underling at the end of the day. Lastly, Cold would travel to Earth solely to get revenge on those that killed Frieza (like the plot for Cooler's Revenge). Depending on the wishes he made on Namek, Trunks would be the only one who could stop him. If Cold wished for immortality, Trunks probably couldn't beat him and the story might just end there. Also, in another instance, Cold would just nuke Earth from space rather than landing on the surface, since the latter was Frieza's suggestion.
Basically: Cold goes to Namek, gets the Dragon Balls, makes his wishes, kills everyone again, goes to Earth for revenge and the series might end.
The only thing that might stop this is if a Namekian just uses Porunga to kill Cold, since the dragon only understands Namekian and Cold doesn't speak the language, needing a translator to get his wishes.

@@angrygarbanzo5436 well id think the nuking from space wouldnt exactly work cause trunks would warn about frieza and king cold any ways regardless, so theyd know hes coming. however even if he did wish for immortality he would still be killed unless he also wished to have so much strength that he would be untouchable along with immortality. otherwise, i dont think the part where king cold goes on to live would work. plus if he kills all the namekians before using the balls, it would be pointless. and obviously hed have no knowledge it works like that having to have a kami, so hed kill all of them in search of them. only to realise they dont work. plus a namekian i dont think would ever be the translater for kind cold, i think theyd rather die then be a translater for evil. but youre right, he probably wouldnt wish for vegeta back but i was thinking hed do a multirez aka frieza and his men that he lost like zarbon and dodoria. so that would technically include everyone else. but maybe only frieza since hed want to rez him obviously, i mean he did go looking for him in the first place so why wouldnt he want to rez him? but otherwise nothing would stop them from killing king cold and frieza all over again.

Here's how it'd go in my eyes:
- Let's say this happens around the time Trunks appears to make things interesting.
- King Cold goes to Namek and is generally a nuisance, terrorizing the planet and attempting to use the Dragon Balls to perhaps revive Frieza or for immortality, doesn't matter cause he doesn't know the password.
- King Kai tells the Z-Fighters about King Cold & his power.
- Trunks offers to kill King Cold, but this more proactgive Goku says that it still would be good to train in case King Cold is stronger than Frieza.
- Goku could get the idea of the Time Chamber to get strong in a short period as King Cold is currently a pressing issue.
- Goku, Gohan AND Trunks would all enter but for only about 8 months, as there's three of them. Trunks would try to teach Goku & Gohan SSJ1.
- Despite having less time, three people training is more effective and they would likely come out with Super Saiyan at the bare minimum and being much stronger than before. You could argue for them having Grade 4. They are likely as strong or stronger than SSJ Vegeta vs Android 19.
- The three Saiyans would use the Earth's Dragon Balls to get to Namek, and they easily 86 King Cold. The Namekian Dragon Balls are used again to get back to Earth.
- Trunks would still probably stay for the 3 years just to be sure since even with that Time Chamber time Trunks isn't sure if he could beat the Androids, with Goku agreeing that it's a good idea.
- This is mostly a peace time period, as there are no Androids after Goku.
- Cell still is here because he's from the Future, however with no Androids he quickly finds himself demolished by the Z-Fighters, all of them likely being Cell Saga level at this point.
- By the end of this, Trunks leaves and kills the Androids and Cell like before.
- Gohan is more motivated to train due to Goku still being alive. Goten would be born slightly earlier, possible during the 3 Year Time Skip as it would be a peaceful period and Goku is around more.
- No Buu Saga cause by the end of the 7 year time skip I'm sure they would achieve SSJ2, meaning they could defeat Dabura and stop Buu without Vegeta there to mess everything up.
- In the Battle of Gods saga, without Vegeta or Trunks around the SSJ God ritual cannot happen.
- Goku could convince Beerus to be trained with God Ki so he can maybe achieve the form without a ritual, or Beerus disappointed would destroy Earth and the Z-Fighters.
- Assuming the former option happens with Gohan tagging on every once in a while, Whis would train Goku and Gohan.
- DBS is mostly the same but just without Vegeta around with Gohan likely in his place.
- Resurrection F happens but Gohan slaps Frieza with Super Saiyan God, not giving him a chance to transform.
- Skipping Universe 6 Tournament cause it'd likely be mostly the same except Gohan is strong, Goku Black saga ends early cause this more proactive Goku would go in for the kill on Black without trying to test his power out.
- ToP is drastically different. With no Androids or Vegeta (and therefore present Trunks) his choices are limited. I can't really see a full team being formed. I don't even think Goku would revive Frieza here just because this Goku is far less forgiving. Maybe Goku can find Broly while searching the Universe but even then it's no where close to enough. Goku hasn't even died here so Pikkon, which is a heavy stretch, isn't even an option either.

@SMD sth91 true, I remember seeing the Quaamans Timeline Vid 6 years ago during my Senior Year and agreed very much with it, the OG Timline with the Original Future Trunks that was killed by Cell, Unseen Timeline that he saved, History of Trunks Timline that we know and the present timline all have the exact same history of original Dragonball, Sayian Saga and Namek Saga. It's just up until around the beginning of the Android Arc things begin to change for each of them.
@SMD sth91 if we first saw the Cell's Timrline it would Exactly be like the History of Trunks timeline with him going back to the past "The Unseen Timeline" kill Frieza and Cold and told Goku about the Andriods. Only Cell not to pop up in Ginger Town and them some how finding a way to destroy the Andriods (Some people actually think that the Super 13 Movie took place on the Unseen timeline after the andriods are defeated but before Trinks heads back to his time.
Basically it would be like the History of Trunks special and the Early parter of the Andriod Saga only Trunks sadly gets killed in the end.

Similarly to how in the actual show Imperfect Cell killed Trunks and went back in time but instead of going back to the past of his own timeline he ended up in a timeline Trunks had already altered. They never explained how THAT happened either but you can just apply that to this video and pretend nothing is wrong lol

No idea how that happened, so I'm gonna copy/paste it but I'll leave the one here alone just to make people think a bit. The world needs more thinkers :)
Goku's nature to train alot is still the same. With his extraordinary talent to break his limits im sure hes able to reach Super Saiyan on his own when King Kai tells him about the legend after defeating Frieza. Then when Frieza or King Cold comes back to Earth for round 2 he would be more than ready with this transformation.
When Trunks tells him about the androids im sure he ups the training even more and he very well might be able to defeat the androids with the help of Trunks and the others.
If they won't, Super Piccolo with the other Z-fighters are surely more than a match for the androids & imperfect cell will shortly fall after without being able to absorb the androids.
The Majin Buu saga gets tricky because theres 3 years of no threat and even though Goku will still train we dont know for sure what kind of level he possesses. I dont think he would be at SSJ2 level yet but most likely at Mastered SSJ1, because he would keep up the training no matter what but has no knowledge of being able to go SSJ2 (theres no legend story of that yet).
Would Super Piccolo + MSSJ Goku with the other Z-fighters be enough to defeat Dabura? Probably not, but if they start losing at any point and some of the Z-fighters get killed then Goku might break through SSJ2 and wipe out Dabura with Babidi and Majin Buu would never get resummoned.
But its safe to say without the rivalry of Vegeta and others, Goku would not be as powerful as he was in the actual storyline.
Bonus:
* Even though Goku killed Frieza, the Frieza army with King Cold could still build Mecha Frieza to come back to Earth and if not then King Cold alone could make a appearance.
* Goku has not been on Yardrat so he doesnt know instant transmission.
* Android 16 could be a huge obstacle and the series could end right there and then because even with Super Piccolo they do not have the power to defeat 16, 17 & 18.
* However the androids in this timeline aren't evil. At least not in the same way as they were in Trunks' timeline. They didnt kill a single human and showed mercy to the Z-fighters in the original timeline so its possible they would do the same with Goku being part of the Z-fighters and they might form some sort of alliance after a fierce battle.
(Yes Goku was supposted to kill villains but if the androids didnt kill anyone they arent considered villains. At least they looked like rebel teenagers in the dbz show and not merciless killers).
(Also I know in this version he used the dragonballs to handle the androids, but Goku wouldnt be able to resist a challenge even if he wouldnt show mercy in battle).
* In the original DBZ episodes Majin Buu got summoned with the full energy of SSJ2 Gohan & the battle of SSJ2 Goku with Majin Vegeta. However thats not possible in this scenario so its very likely the Z-fighters could have gotten more than 3 years worth of time to train for this next foe.
* With Majin Buu being released somewhat later i would like to see how that matched up to the Z-fighters including the androids helping them out. It would be a whole new arc that I'd sure like to see. With Bulma's high sense of technology she might be able to upgrade the androids to even more powerful beings & with these new training partners Goku would also be able grow faster in strenght.
Summary: Everyone dies when the androids arrives or when Babidi and his minions shown up.
I feel like once Trunks shows goku and gohan super saiyan, Goku would still train the form intensely and push it to super saiyan 2 and eventually 3. It isnt like him to just stop. Whether or not he discovers the forms in time for Buu is another question although, if he has this killer instinct, he'd probably dispatch of dabura and babidi before Buu could be reborn

It was not on King Kai's world he was training in the Afterlife itself, he was competing in tournaments and fighting people stronger than Cell and travelling up and down and into Hell for fun.
They found out about Super Saiyans too late, and even if they had time, the Androids were killed, and Perfect Cell wouldn’t even be there to push Gohan to Super Saiyan 2, and that’s literally the only reason Goku even knows it exists, and Super Saiyan 2’s existence is the only reason Goku pursues Super Saiyan 3. So no, they wouldn’t have either.

I understand why the Trunks timelines are usually consistent in what ifs with how timelines seem to work in XenoVerse but I'd enjoy more what ifs actually change that too.
Different philosophy for how what ifs should be done, but fair enough to not say it's a bad way to do it.
i really dont understand, trunks timeline is different because the original story was his one, the story changes when he come back from the future, so basically his timeline and dbz timeline till his arrive are the same, he change the story by killing robot frieza and saving goku, BUT if vegeta dies he never born so there is no way he turn back from the future, at max would bulma do it but i really doubt she manage to survive without trunks
I think the events of this timeline would cause trouble much earlier than the Buu Saga. King Cold still exists in this scenario, and he didn't have Frieza around to tell him about Earth. But Cold would still search for Frieza, and this search would no doubt lead him to Namek, easily found because the planet hadn't been destroyed or relocated. This is where a lot of the timeline would really go awry. For starters, he'd learn Frieza's killers came from Earth. But there's also a good chance that Cold either knew about the Dragon Balls already (via scouter surveillance) or would learn about them from torturing the Namekians. And it seems like there's a VERY high chance that Cold would collect them and wish for immortality. It's also plausible he would revive Frieza with them as well. Frieza could then use the third wish for immortality on himself. If this were to occur, the timeline is completely fucked beyond any salvation. Cold (and Frieza if revived) would go to Earth and kill everyone. Even Future Trunks arriving wouldn't do any good, i'm not sure what he would do in response to being unable to kill them. On the slim chance that Cold didn't discover the Dragon Balls and wish for immortality, he'd still make his way to Earth and easily defeat the Z Fighters. King Cold was stated to be even stronger than Final Form or Cyborg Frieza, Future Trunks again would have to step in. But even then there's still a very good chance that King Cold would simply blow up the Earth from orbit without even landing, which is what he wanted to do in the original timeline before Frieza insisted on landing and personally killing everyone by hand. If King Cold blows up the Earth from orbit, Future Trunks likely wouldn't be able to prevent it (even if Cold wasn't immortal and could be killed).
If all of this was able to be circumvented somehow, I do think there's a way to navigate the Buu Saga. This depends on whether the Supreme Kai decides to arrive on earth early and warn the Z Fighters of Buu and takes them to his planet to train. This is what occurred in the Future Trunks timeline, Supreme Kai approached Trunks and got him to train with the Z Sword. Trunks was then able to kill Dabura and prevent Buu from being revived. Perhaps in this scenario, Goku and Gohan are invited to try to pull the Z Sword out and are able to train with it. It would be possible to achieve a similar level of power to what they had in the original timeline. This would again be enough to beat Dabura at least. But there's also the possibility that Elder Kai could be released. Goku originally suggested they test the Z Sword's strength, which caused it to break. If this were to occur again, Elder Kai could offer to unlock their powers. Doing this for both Gohan and Goku could make them just as strong (if not moreso in Goku's case) as they were in the original timeline. And also circumventing the need for Super Saiyan transformations anymore.
But regardless of whether elder Kai is released or not, Z Sword training would likely still be enough to kill Dabura. There's also a very high chance that Buu wouldn't have enough energy to hatch given that Vegeta is no longer alive to cause any trouble and feed him energy. Good chance this crisis would be averted just by dealing with Dabura and killing Babidi.
Problems would start when Beerus arrives on Earth looking for the Super Saiyan God (assuming he wakes up in this timeline). Beerus would probably remain in a better mood without Buu there to piss him off, but he would still insist on finding his rival and tensions would rise to satiate his desire. They're missing at least two Saiyans without Vegeta or Kid Trunks, so the SS God Ritual wouldn't be possible with what they currently have. And that's assuming Gohan still meets Videl (or some other girl) and adds another Saiyan hybrid to use in the ritual. I suppose they'd need to use the Dragon Balls to find other Saiyans and bring them to earth. This COULD potentially bring Broly and Paragus into the story earlier than expected, which would really change things around. Vegeta is long dead, so Paragus' character could end up being very different in this case and he may even hold Goku in some esteem for being the one who killed him. It's plausible that Goku (or Gohan) still attain SS God in this case. Blue is another story, it depends on whether Goku still goes off to train with Whis. In the anime, Vegeta is the one who begs Whis to go with him and Goku only joins in after not wanting to fall behind. I believe in the Manga this scenario isn't shown and it's unexplained how or why the two get to Whis' planet. Though in this scenario, the presence of Broly might also encourage Goku to seek training from Whis as well. So SS Blue might still be attained.
One thing I will say about Revival of F- I think it's actually fairly likely that Frieza would forego training and trying to achieve a higher form. There were two things that motivated Frieza to want to train. The first was Goku transforming into a Super Saiyan and beating him at 100% of his power (and later Future Trunks as well). The second was learning Goku had become even stronger and managed to kill Buu (one of only two creatures in the universe King Cold warned him NEVER to challenge). Without this insight however, Frieza would thoughtlessly run right to earth in enraged arrogance. After all, from his perspective Goku had gotten lucky and caught him in his first form and he was hundreds of times more powerful in 100% final form. And he'd get destroyed. Some of the lower tier characters (perhaps even Tien or Krillin) would be able to handle him. Let alone Goku, Gohan and Piccolo (or Broly if he's there).
Champa's Tournament might divert somewhat. Gohan could stand in for Vegeta, or Broly if he's around. Can't say if Hit would win or not, but I think the end result would be about the same. I'm REALLY not sure how the Goku Black arc would go. There was an anime exclusive scene where Goku fights Black in the present for the first time, and there's a chance that a more ruthless Goku would just go all-out here and kill Black right then and there (not allowing him to escape back to the future). But otherwise i'm not sure how this would end up going if this scene was excluded. Vegeta was VERY important in this arc and I can't imagine it going as well without him. Broly might at least help make up for it if he were to become involved.

He went to what was left of Namek and found Frieza's mutilated but still living body floating in the debris and ordered his people to give him cybernetics. After Frieza told him who did this to him and where they came from, they immediately went to earth to destroy it as revenge. In the alternate events that Frieza is dead and can't be found, King Cold would still go to Namek and try to find out who did it and where they live. He'd be out for revenge.

Depending on the size of the threat I feel as though Goku has a responsible to kill the enemy because of the effect they may have on innocent people. Sometimes mercy only allows an enemy to kill more people, thus it becomes necessity to defend them by any means necessary

Trunks' future is an alternate universe. Goku killing Gero in the main timeline doesn't affect Trunks' world. Otherwise he'd probably cease to exist because Vegeta is now dead.
dr gero was a plot hole since he never appeared in the red ribbon army arc and that arc was a time when goku had no qualms about killing if all those corpses from the red ribbon base indicated anything.

I feel like by the Buu Saga we'd then get a similar story to the version of events in the Future Trunks Arc. Supreme Kai and Kibito come to train Goku and the others for Babidi arriving since they might not be strong enough and together they could defeat Dabura, or at the very least if Buu awakened then they would flee with Supreme Kai urging someone to unhook the Z-Sword eventually causing Elder Kai to awaken.

I honestly liked both the kind Goku seeing the good in others in most of the series, and the more unforgiving Goku ready to kill whether or not its for revenge or absolutely necessary
You could argue that Goku could stack Kaio-ken with Grade 4 Super Saiyan, like how he does with Blue. That could help him against Dabura, and Goku might want to jump Babidi and his crew once they walk out of the elevator. It could still work, and no Majin Vegeta complications can help.
It's also not impossible for Goku to find out about Super Saiyan 2, so it's not entirely off the table, especially if he and Gohan do Time Chamber training during the Buu Saga like Gotenks did.

Not to mention in dragon ball super, piccolo seems like more of a grandfather to pan as he is seen constantly babysitting. While yes, goku has likely raised gohan for more years alot is offscreen. But you cannot deny that there is another fatherly relation between piccolo and gohan. Not exclusive, but as a secondary figure.
If Goku would've killed Piccolo then Gohan would have a father figure because their would be no point in training and just reach his son his ways.

There were two things that I didn’t agree with in the video...
1. Goku shouldn’t have beaten Frieza that easy. In the video Goku kills Frieza easily because of the Kaioken x10. But at this stage Goku wasn’t able to use the Kaioken for long periods of time, especially to the degree he’s using it in the video, he could only use it in short bursts. This should give Frieza the chance to still fight back against Goku, and eventually transform. Then once fused Piccolo and Nail arrive, they Piccolo fights Frieza the same way it happened in the show. Then the fight should go on some what the same way it did in the show, but replacing Vegeta with Piccolo.
2. The existence of Trunks shouldn’t be a thing. Trunk’s timeline was only an alternate time line because Trunks went back in time. This means in Trunk’s world everything in his world happened in the current timeline until trunks went back in time. So if the two worlds were the same until time travel, then Trunks shouldn’t have been born since Vegeta was dead, and time travel would’ve never happened.

If Future Trunks' timeline is anything to go off of, they may never end up encountering Majin Buu because even combined they wouldn't have the energy to release him. Babidi and Dabura might not even bother messing with them either.

How could Majin Buu be revived if they never reached Super Saiyan? The Saiyans would never get their zenkai boost from being beaten up during the Cell saga. They also wouldn't have gotten the power boost from training in the time chamber. Goku wouldn't have been blown up by Cell so he would still be alive. So the Z fighter's power would be far lower. I doubt Bibadi would have the power needed to awaken him.
In Dragon Ball Super Future trunks beats Dabura with the help of Supreme Kai. Even with a lower power having a living Goku and not having to worry about a 24 hours time limit on Earth or Vegeta going Majin would really give them the man power to defeat Dabura and Babidi.

Even with the killing added goku always has been interested in training and pretty good at it. After learning SSJ he would feel there is more potential and keep on training to unlock the higher grades wich makes it likely he would rival Dabura or surpass him. Also killing goku wouldn't let sapowich and otherdude(forgot his name) escape but beat them down outright because of danger remember normal SSJ was stronger then kaioshin at that point so him interfearing wouldn't work

Goku in Dragon Ball: Am I a joke to you?
I don’t know if the series would play out exactly like this with the simple fact that Goku is still a saiyan. They still live for a strong and challenging battle. I feel when Bulma makes mention of using the Dragon Balls to find Dr. Gero lab, Goku would decline after some thought. He would still end up killing the Androids and Cell if the opportunity presented itself, but his thrill for a chance to find someone very strong, which is in his saiyan biology, would impact his decision to kill the Androids while they lay dormant. This is just how I see it going
until the granolah arc, goku has no idea what saiyan pride was or what it felt like. fan head canon is dumb af

Goku didnt know that piccolo had fired an egg from his mouth. Simple. When goku met Kami for the first time (im refferencing manga) he was surprised to hear that Piccolo is alive. Kami mentioned how piccolo was alive in a sense of his "son" who is actually identical to his "father". Goku had no clue at first that piccolos "son" was alive

This morale story was after goku sacrificed himself to kill raditz, so it wouldn't stick. Besides, raditz would've demolished goku even if goku was holding his tail. The most it did was put his guard down, so Goku wouldn't be able to kill him alone.
Piccolo is a different case since if he dies there are no dragon balls.
Vegeta as well since he is from the same race, basically only living relative of Goku.
Frieza was not excuse Goku should had killed him.
There is something I have been thinking on and that is what if both Cell and Goku soul/mind somewhat merged with each other because both of them had physical contact with each other and they both died at the exact same time and to quote Cell. "At first I didn't know what was going on but then my head and legs and then the rest of my body formed and I had returned to my perfect form once again." This quote is not exactly what he said but I think it was close enough.
So basically, Goku’s mercy is not only mercy to his enemies, but mercy to the Universe.
This was a good video except for one detail: how on earth does trunks still go back to the past if Vegeta was killed? Is this just one particular timeline where Goku let’s Vegeta die? Or is this like the majority of your videos that assume these events unfold in canon? If it’s the latter, this doesn’t make sense, because all versions of Goku in every timeline would let Vegeta die, therefore, Trunks could never exist…

This timeline is so doomed, and you need to think about another thing that you forgot: King Cold would probably search for the one who killed his son, and maybe he finds Earth....
One thing that could change this is that Goku may NOT have died because he could’ve kept holding Raditz’s tail.
That was my thoughts. He wouldn't have died because he would have held Raditz tail and Piccolo would have killed him with the Special Beam Canon. Vegeta and Nappa would have not known about the Dragon Balls because Piccolo only talked about them when telling Raditz they would use them to wish Goku back. Also Vegeta didn't seem to care enough about Raditz to go searching for him, so might wouldn't have even came to Earth. Story changes completely from the video's scenario then.

There's a little hole in your theory when you go into the Buu saga. Because there's no Cell, nobody has a reason to train in the Hyperbolic time chamber, so the Saiyans don't become so powerful and they don't unlock any other forms besides SS grade 1. Even if there's a tournament and they all participate, I doubt Spopovitch and Yamu would try to get energy from the Z fighters, it would not be worth it if they saw them fight in base form and probably not even as Super Saiyans because their power wouldn't be considered big enough to be fee to Buu. Because the Saiyans and Piccolo are not so strong I don't think the Supreme Kai would be so interested and he'd know how far above Darbura is of them. He probably wouldn't paralyze Gohan, so if Spopovitch and Yamu tried a sneak attack they would be easily dealt with by the Super Saiyans, even though they wouldn't be stronger than the Supreme Kai himself. It would be a while before Babidi knew what happened and if the Supreme Kai told the Z fighters about the threat and how they could beat Darbura, let alone Buu, they would probably train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, getting way stronger than before this time over. If Goku doesn't mind killing now, it's likely that all the fighters would attack Darbura at the same time and make sure he was killed. Someone would kill Babidi as well before he summoned Buu and Buu would be taken care of. No Z Sword, no Elder Kai, no Ultimate Gohan, no SS3 Goku. The problem would be Beerus because there wouldn't be enough Saiyans to perform the SS God ritual and he would destroy the planet out of spite.

Let's say Goku and Gohan were roughly as strong as Future Gohan and Goku in the main time-line when he fought Android 19 (minus the heart virus). Compared to SS2 Gohan in the Buu saga, that power is insignificant, it's like comparing Goku's power level when he beat Piccolo Jr to Frieza in his final form at 100%. I doubt the Saiyans would even be on the Supreme Kai's radar.

Best case scenario the whole Universe 7 would be erased by Zeno some day on a whim without anyone noticing. It could happen at any moment so Goku and company might be training for the future or they might be dead already for a long time.

Although Goku does kill characters, in Dragon Ball Z it was never his go to tactic, typically it occurs when he is desperate and as a last resort. It's his preference to win with mercy rather than pure violence. That's not a bad quality in a hero, and it's more balanced. "Never do it" or "Kill them all" is unrealistic on the one hand, and malicious on the other.

I definitely agree with the majority of what you say up until the buu arc, things would still be significantly different and wouldn’t just end there. If goku and gohan got super saiyan from trunks they’d still be there and training, even if they didn’t have a direct threat looming over them. For the next 7 years they would improve and possibly reach their cell games power level with goku and gohan both still attaining super saiyan 2 since goku is all for furthering their power. On top of that shin would still make contact with goku and the others follow spopovich and yamu back to the ship and without really waiting goku, gohan and piccolo would attack dabura together and regardless of how strong danura may be, taking on the three of them would result in him dying before they can give buu enough power to come out. Especially without vegeta being there, babidi wouldn’t be able to get any allies and die, thus bringing piece. Till the beerus arc and from their things wouldn’t go well since they don’t have enough super saiyans for the god ritual. So things would end around their instead of with buu
Without Buu being at the party Beerus wouldn't be enraged, he'd not likely destroy Earth.
They'd also just likely use the Dragon Balls after mentioning the ones on Namek, assuming King Cold doesn't end it, or Whis would just as likely check the gods' official records to learn that one can be trained to become a saiyan god.

@LioSlayer Well maybe Trunks would go first idk he just wouldn't be as strong because he wouldn't have Vegeta to watch and learn from Edit: Or if Trunks doesn't exist Goku dies of a heart virus, everyone else dies and then Androids run rampant Cell is born and is either killed by the Androids or eventually absorbs them basically a shittier Future Trunks timeline
17 and 18 don't exist. Cell would be in his weakest form. Goku and piccolo could easily kill him in this state.
Goku just giving Frieza an insane ass whooping is actually amazing
No Vegeta, no Frieza and other saved heroes and villians
No vegeta gohan and krillin more freiza soliders like zarbon and doraia
Badidi and Dabura would take much longer to revive Buu (i.e. SSJ2 Gohan was only able to revive Buu half way). So, Goku or Piccolo get drained at the tournament and Kaoishin reveals himself to the gang. The gang confront Dabura together and Piccolo is turned to stone. Goku loses to Dabura but Kaioshin saves him and brings him to the Kaoishin planet. Goku tries to lift the Z Sword but fails.
Goku leaves and elects to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Gohan. Goku sees Gohan's potential. Goku takes Gohan to fight Dabura. Goku loses and is turned to stone and Gohan goes SSJ2. Gohan kills Dabura and Babidi and Goku and Piccolo are revived by the Namek Dragon Balls. But Goku opts to stay in the Other World. Goku gains SSJ2 and SSJ3 there. Gohan and Videl have Pan and another Sayian child.
Beerus wakes up and goes to Earth. Goku comes back to Earth for one day. Goku loses to Beerus and then tries fusion dance with Gohan but they also lose. They can't complete the Saiyan God ritual because they don't have 6 saiyans. So, Goku uses the Dragon Balls to wish for Future Trunks. They do the God Ritual and Goku get God form.
