This was quite a wholesome story. The fact that Vegeta died with a happy tear in his eye knowing that he avenged his people and outclassed Goku makes it even better.
Although... it feels like a bittersweet ending, considering what is going to happen 3 years later

This will be a most very interesting story you've made Rising fist
Starting out with Goku complaining about being a non-player in this story was a hilarious way to start the story. And the way that Vegeta's desire to protect was implied at the end of the video was a nice little touch that showed us a look at the man he became both in official material and in Rising Fist's own canon.
Alternate timelines are always an interesting way to view how things might change, but also can show just how universal some traits are to a particular character. No matter the timeline, no matter the story, Freeza will always be a smug, slimy, condescending little weasel whose brand of villainy is always accented with his own sophisticated, spoiled, and arrogant demeanor that shows who he is: Emperor and lord over all he deems his own. His tactical mind was on full display and his monologue about how transformations would be more impressive to the Saiyans than to species his deems more sophisticated and evolved definitely served as a good call-back to his constant jabs about Saiyans being primitive apes and monkeys, maintaining Freeza's derisive racism and making it easy to find him detestable in an accessible way.
Having Tien and Yamcha appear to do some serious damage to Freeza's remaining men was refreshing. Yamcha, having long been relegated to the eternal status of franchise joke and butt monkey gets his first real chance since the original days of Dragon Ball to shine and be anything other than the universe's whipping boy. As someone who has personally tired of the toxic parade of low-hanging fruit Yamcha jokes, it was very enjoyable to remind people how dangerous the Desert Wolf really is.
And Tien's dry, serious personality is part of why he has always been a personal favorite of mine. Watching him use the multiform technique was just a lot of fun and reminds us of why he was such a dangerous opponent for Goku back their youth. I would love to see you do a last day video featuring everyone's favorite Triclopic monk. Tien's story is one that I can personally relate to a lot, with him having been molded by others for a purpose he ultimately rejected.
Having Piccolo take over as the new leader of the Z-Warriors feels like a natural progression for him in this timeline after all that he has done to change his ways and make amends for his actions feels earned, but remains pleasantly unsurprising to those who know him well. His interactions with Gohan feel like they were written specifically for the canon with how smoothly they interact with one another. It's writing that feels as if this was made by the originator of the series, Akira Toriyama himself.
The shot of Bulma pregnant with Trunks ultimately closed Vegeta's arc in this timeline quite nicely. Even though Vegeta found peace in surpassing his rival, Goku, and had gotten his revenge on Freeza, it was clear in my eyes that the relief was more his instincts as a father at eradicating a threat to his son that he had lived under his entire life. Again, this is a story that shows more than tells.
I don't have as much time to write a more fleshed-out review today, as I am currently in the process of preparing to move in with my fiancé and it's taking up a lot of time and energy. As always, it's been a pleasure!

His writing style seamlessly incorporates decades of lore from established canon while also still giving fans a look at characters from a different angle that still feels authentic and true to the characters themselves - both in their portrayals in official materials as well as their reputations in the fandom.
Additionally, his humanistic writing style tends to be very solemn without drowning the audience in despair or unnecessarily dark or depressing story threads. It's a good balance between darkness and light where the hopeful moments don't come across as disingenuous. It's always fun to come here and do what I do best: compulsively analyze everything that I see, write it up, and hopefully connect with others in the process.

I am very happy coz this is literally I want to happen in db super . Every character fighting and saving Earth . Tournament of Power was good but it still didn't show the true potential of all Z fighters . I still want gohan to train with supreme kai or whis and show what a half saiyan with the urge to become strong is like . I mean even goten and trunks weren't shown good in Super . Great work as always! You really nailed the fast paced action with this style of animating.
Couple of questions though, to shed more light on the backstory.
Up until Goku and Freeza ending up being the only two left on Namek, everything went according to the original story?
That means the Namekians were also wished to Earth. This is all by memory but if I recall correctly the first wish made by Dende to Porunga was to wish Krillin and Goku to Earth 's afterlife check in station. I guess that wish happened since they are at King Kai's place (keep in mind Goku doesn't now instant transmission here but there are of course more ways to travel to King Kai's planet then just Snake way). Then Krillin was wished back and then Yamcha. A little while later Porunga was summoned again (Namekian year is way shorter than an Earth year) and Chiaotzu was summoned, then Tien.
In this story Yamcha and Tien are here but Chiaotzu is still with King Kai, as is Krillin and Goku. So I guess Yamcha and Tien were wished back using Shenron? That means at least two years have passed since Namek exploded. And I guess Vegeta didn't train as hard as he did when he trained for the Androids as he was stronger than Goku (who trained Spirit Control on Yardrat and trained with Piccolo and Gohan for 3 straight years) when he faced them.
Just curious how it fits in. -;)

As always, these are such a joy to watch! Its a shame I couldn't be there for the premiere though. But always a blast to watch Rising Fist!
As much as I enjoyed Rising Fists take on this, I only have 1 "critique" about this take.
I understand that it was to give Vegeta his chance for revenge, and allow everyone else to save the earth. But in my opinion, I don't think there would have been much difference if Goku did die on Namek. In the long term, definitely, for the reasons I will give.
Depending on how long it took Frieza to recover, and seeing as he still became mecha, still must have been a good amount of time. Same as a year? Can't say for certain. But we know that in the main series, everyone was wishing for Goku to come back to life from Namek, and of course we found out he was still alive. But IF Goku did die, he would have just been brought back to life at that time with Porunga instead right? Of course this would mean that Goku never went to the Yardrat planet to learn instant transmission, and lost training time. Would he have been stronger or weaker because of this? As we see that Vegeta was training, and with Goku there, they might have sparred with each other. Also, during cell's 2nd form, he wouldn't have saved Tien and Piccolo as Cell would have been faster than Goku at this point. Theres a few more points, but thats just my take on what would happen.
Nevertheless, this was such an amazing watch as always and can't wait for the next!

If you see this again, not trying to put this down at all, I'm just trying to speak the facts, but I think this point was missed out tremendously along with krillin, as u see yamcha is back, which in the series, was apart of the same set of wishes that goku and krillin was. Unless u came up with the excuse that Goku didnt want to come back like in the cell saga, that doesnt explain krillin that did come back?
Im not sure if this was just an oversight or something u decided on, in this case, I think it worked better for this story for both to be dead instead of one, but was just a puzzling thought.
Once again, fabulous work on this and make sure will be there for next premiere!

In other stories of Rising Fist, King Kai can control the gravity of his planet, allowing grandpa Gohan and Chi Chi to visit Goku.
When I wrote that I imagined that they were all in heaven instead of King Kai's planet

This one was REALLY good! Despite his low involvement, my favorite casting has to be Goku. You nailed Super's version of him, down to the laugh! For separate reasons, Gohan sounded BETTER than in the show - if he's really meant to be a teen here, he should sound like it!
This may not be a question for you, but one element raises some questions: How would Ginyu not be in a Frog Body?

The fact that all of this could have happened in the Canon dragon ball z is still so weird and it seems it's just like students like master since both of piccolo and gohan have saved each other countless times in all of the dragon ball z and all different kinds of dragon ball series and that was just so heart warming for me and I am sure all of you are heart warmed as well!
