This is SO beautiful and magical!! I’ve been through a divorce after 21 years and it’s been such a struggle to find a new normal and find joy again for myself! I’ve booked a trip ( for the first time EVER) to the Netherlands and Paris this Summer and I’m scared to death but also so excited as I’ve always wanted to travel!! Hugs and ❤
I’m almost 62 and I want to live in Italy for 3 months every year! There I said it. I love being able to share your wonderful experience. This should remind us all that you never know who is listening when you speak. Try to always say something positive and worthwhile! Great work!!😊
Look up the RUclips channel called Pretty Over Fifty. She has a video on how she lived in Italy for 3 months…by herself. She was 60 or 61 when when she did that. She has great tips on how to make it happen!

I was born in a refugee camp, but have come as far as sitting in an oceanfront restaurant sipping alcohol enjoying the view, everything paid for. Aww, your description of feeling overwhelmed reminded me of my daughter. She had a big, wedding style Quinceanera last year, her request, and as she was getting her hair and makeup done and her dress on she started tearing up and hyperventilating. We helped her calm down, but she said she just suddenly felt the enormity of everything and being so pampered was just a lot. ❤
Oh I feel for her. It is such a shock... I hope she was able to get through that moment and enjoy the celebration of the night. xo
Wow, Erin. What an incredible experience to follow along with. I love that the designer wanted to explore the French woman of the 50's without Hollywood, and play with strength and gender roles as expressed in clothing. My daughter is a singer and this was like an opera for fashion. The set design was amazing too. It reminded me of being inside a living being. I'm a papercrafter, and I would like to up my game in creating unique pieces that express the way that I experience beauty, and help others to do that for themselves.

What an inspiring video! I worked for Chanel for 17 years and got to go visit Paris as a reward for being a top fashion advisor. I was in Coco Chanel’s apartment and the Haute Couture atelier. It was magical!
I am a housewife now, but still very passionate about fashion and style. My dream is to visit Paris as a Chanel client and see a fashion show. I would be in Heaven if this happened!

I will end the month of March unencumbered, at peace, victorious, making the most money I have ever made and filled with hope. All my deadlines are reached in time and I am able to achieve my goals in serenity and feeling great. I hope to also visit the Dior museum very soon. Be a goal setter and goal getter!!! That is my mantra. I want to be a program manager for a fighter jet so I set that goal for myself a few years ago. I had a lot of gaps to fill so I developed a plan and filled those in. Two weeks ago I started a new position as a project manager for an advanced pilot trainer!!! I am so close to making my dream a reality. Don’t dismiss the small milestones and celebrate them along the way because every step counts!!!

To open a B&B in Europe to welcome people that decided to travel by bicycle as I did for 6 months in 2016. Went from Lisbon Portugal to Paris France, going through Spain and completing the Compostella route as well. All of these people helped me find the person that I am today and I want to give it back by helping others

About 20 yrs ago, I accepted a last minute travel nurse position in Portland, OR. I live on the East Coast and had only been an RN for 3 yrs. I was terrified. I arranged nothing. I just showed up at the airport and a few hours later I was at the OR Board of Nursing applying for a license. Three days later, I was working at OHSU. Blew my mind! Now, I am a confident solo vacationer! Your Dior experience sounds like a dream. Your ensembles were stunningly beautiful as are you. Merci!

Erin I just wanted to say that I totally relate to you over the tears at watching almost anything. They often start the minute the curtain lifts because I feel what it’s just so incredible and wonderful what actors, dancers, designers, artists, poets etc. can do. My daughter thinks it’s hilarious that I can’t control them. I even had tears recently, while watching a promotional video at a university we visited, which she might attend. I was in awe of what she can have. She manifested by working hard toward her goal. Anyway, how fabulous was your visit to Dior and you’re telling of it was just beautiful.

I know of one for sale. It's in the Tuscany area. I worked on it 15 years ago during the olive harvest. I can tell you more if this is something you want to do soonish. No pressure of course, just trying to help if I can.

I'm 51 and always was curious about doing something in the entertainment industry. I use to be such a dreamer and realized I was living in a fantasy world so I became more "realistic". So even writing a dream or hope is really hard for me right now, but I would love to be an extra in a movie and or do something creative. Just throwing this out there.

I wanted a beach vacation home. I knew my husband wouldn't be on board. Well, I manifested this, over and over again I prayed, did research online and brought it up to my husband and lo and behold! We own a vacation home! I still cannot believe it happened. I am so fuzzy on the details but it happened. Dreams can come true ❤
in the beginnning of this year i made my vision board and i felt like this will be one of a kind manifestation year. From material to spiritual i know this 2023 window is a complete sucess.I had a Cartier jewel, a home very special piece and a trip to paris in it ...its March and its done. My biggest goal is to make things in my own time with no back financial noise.Enjoy myself while helping others by my therapy.

I am 75 and grew up in south Texas...in ranch country. All my childhood friends stayed right there and the ones I have kept in touch with have led very happy lives doing exactly what they wanted to...raising families and preserving their ranch heritage etc.
I though, was a born dreamer /adventurer, my nose constantly in books, hungry for the world from the age of 7.
My life took a very different course than my childhood friends. I lost my entire family over a period of five years as a teen and went to work as a minimum wage receptionist in a law office at 16. Life was very scary all alone on my own and I knew how NOTHING in the world worked, I was emotionally overwhelmed and in shock from my losses..I had not been able to finish highschool, though I was a good student, I HAD to go to work.
By 21 I was in Boston and enrolled in college with a secretarial job on campus. I then went to grad school also working on campus the entire time in Chicago and became eventually a professor of clinical psychology, a mother, a wife. I had a terrifically rewarding career...and I started investing in my 30s.
By age 50 and 55 my husband and I were able to retire to a sailboat to sail the Caribbean for several years of fun and adventure. Then we built our dream home in Guatemala near Antigua, a beautiful resort town visited by international tourists and a sizeable ex pat European, Canadian and American community.
WE had 25 beautiful years in retirement and the most loving relationship all our time together. I was SUCH a lucky woman. We traveled to Europe often so I could see the musuems I craved, the architecture my husbannd loved etc etc...a rich full life til he passed away 6 months ago.
My daughter became a career helicopter pilot saving lives in the Coast Guard , my son became an international film festival prize winning cinematographer...HIS passion. I have four happy healthy achievement oriented grandchildren.
I spent 6 months in mourning but recently have fallen in love with a wonderful man who owns homes here, Chicago and Portland , Oregon. It will be nice to see Chicago again this summer but I will KEEP my own beautiful home here too designed in a style reminiscent of the Alhambra with Mudejar arches, walled courtyard with fountains and tropical blooming vines and plants. Luckily I have people who love me who will care for it in my absences.
I thought my traveling days were completed but my new love wants to take me back to Paris to the museums and to Venice. It is a solid permament relationship already.
I honestly thought I would never even care to meet anyone else, but life has its surprises and WE are not always in charge of what happens.
I am continually surprised at life and some lessons I have learned are every person is unique and everyone we love is unique in your life. Each person brings something wonderful and different and positive to your life...love is additive, no one replaces anyone else. Each person we love: a friend, a spouse, a family member, a child, a mate... we love and treasure each for the special qualities they have and each is one of a kind and irreplaceable...Life is good, never give up on it...live every phase of life and relationship to its fullest, you never know what is waiting in your future. Be open to life, to love and to those peak joyful, one of a kind, experiences in life.

I literally finished watching the movie, 'Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris' five minutes before I turned on your video. If you haven't seen it, you must. It is a sweet movie and about the House of Dior, only set in the late 1950's. What a wonderful experience you were blessed to have. Thanks for sharing it with us. love how step by step you made a dream happen. I love the makeup, hair look and natural nails! Polish drains productive time and energy. Cutting cuticles - bad, protects blood stream from infection. Cuiticles are a barrier! MY Dream: Resolve a very serious family problem before end of the year. 🙏💪 Your shows are so down to earth yet elegant and so helpful Bless you. Wow. Sounds amazing! When you discussed traveling alone, I’ve traveled in the US for work but generally I travel with my husband. However in June I’m going to Spain for 9 days with my girlfriend. It’s a dream trip of hers and I said sure. We’re both in our early 60’s so if you have any places we MUST see let us know. And both of us are nervous and excited. You’re dream certainly came true. ❤

WOW! I cried, had empathy anxiety when you spoke about yours, and, sooo so happy for you! My goodness! So, currently I am the senior stylist at Banana Republic in northern California my clients are mostly 50 and up and they want to stay current, but, still want to feel at home in their skin. I'm 61, 62 in June. I have been in the industry for 20 years, I had a styling company in a tiny chic town called Sausalito CA and two luxury boutiques in Montana, I had to shut down it to be close to my family in California......I really don't like working for a corporation....I'm just NOT a corporate girl...I want to open a tiny beautiful boutique again...But, I don't have the capital, and, I'm 61, do I really want to start up on something like that at my age??? YES! But, it feels impossible...Thank you so very much for sharing your story, I love following you!

Well, I started by hiring a Paris-based travel designer to help plan for this trip and contact the shows. However, the Fashion Show brand's team has to personally approve every guest that attends. We submitted bios and our Instagram handles to be considered. I didn’t know until 2 days before going that Dior had accepted us. We also got into Balmain but they required four days of activities which felt like too much to me. They presented the invitation that included attending the show and staying the night for the full experience in La Suite Dior. We also paid for our clothing and our stay at La Suite Dior and decided if ever there was a time to splurge, this was it! Thanks for watching!. xo

Wow. I had no idea that is how this Paris Fashion Week worked! So people don’t just get tickets and attend but are invited and then do all these great events and get styled? Amazing!
Mon Dieu, Erin! What an amazing experience you have had. Definitely, one of those pinnacle experiences to savour. You‘ve worked so hard for these moments. Glad it all came together for you. I love how your makeup was applied by the Dior team. Did you learn any new tips from them in terms of makeup, hair and/or clothing that you can share with us? My goal has been and is to be in great shape as I welcome turning 60 in June. My husband bought me a treadmill as one of my retirement gifts two years ago and, after a lot of focus and hard work, I am now the same weight that I was in my early 20s although gravity has had its effects, not going to lie. Regardless, I feel wonderful, and my husband and I have had some wonderful trips since I retired last year and C19 restrictions have lifted with more to come. Life. Is. Good.

Incredible behind the scenes tour w/ commentary!! Thank you for sharing so much of your kind heart and your "dream week" with us, Erin! My dream?... I'm just a simple girl, with simple dreams to live my best life daily. I do dream about travel to see family more, and places we've never been, especially in retirement, and get excited when I think about that, which is a ways off. 2 weeks PTO per year is just not enough to make that reality. I have always dreamed of living near an ocean one day! Awww.... : )

What a fabulous video....your experience with Dior is my dream. I felt emotional along with you watching this Erin. First of all, there is something about the way you describe things that imparts an almost iridescent, diaphanous quality to the images you create verbally -- what a gift. Since Dior and Armani are my two favorite design houses (forever) it was a treat to tag along. I have to have those patent shoes and hope I can find them. All of this was inspirational. I have manifested a lot of the things I wanted in my life -- most turned out to be wonderful. My next goal: to have a second home up north (I am in LA, so anywhere north of San Francisco, lol), preferably in or near the woods and sea. I have had enough of heat and being a NYC native, I need some cold and seasons in my life. I do believe in attraction magic and you clearly have it. You are a joy and I look forward to every one of your vlogs. Thank you, Erin. 💖💖

Ten years ago, I met Christian Siriano and told him I'd be in New York for my 30th birthday during fashion week and asked if it would be possible to get an invite. He said sure and gave me his assistant's information. She never ended up getting back to me, but can't blame me for trying!

I started working in Beverly Hills decades ago and taught swimming to the top 2%, then I had 10 years of catastrophe that included living in my car. I now am happy, fashionable (thx Busbee style) married, have a dog and live in a beach house just as I wanted. My dream now is for us to have passive income, live on a large boat and travel with my husband and friends, and pay it forward!!!
I have had a nagging and compelling thought about something in the back of my head, and it gets louder and louder by the day. But I'm so scared to take that first step to do it... I want it. I want it so bad! But I have to change the "I can't's" to "I will"!!!!! That part is so so hard because I pick apart and think of all of the bad things. I needed this, Erin. Thank you ❤

Oh Hi, I am happy you had this dream and you did this. I have a big one may be not so glamorous. I’m part of this huge revolutionary movement of “ woman, life, Freedom”. We have seen bloodshed along the way of reaching this dream. Lives shattered and left many families in tears and with broken hearts forever. We are not stopping just yet although we have a long way to attain this dream. Thanks for sharing yours😊

Well, good things happen to good people. You share a lot of your childhood on here, which I’m sure isn’t easy, buy gosh, do i relate. But, in spite of being poor, look at you today. You are truly an inspiring woman. Your poverty, put a fire in your belly & you pushed forward, which I’m sure couldn’t be easy. But regardless, you came out the other side, beautiful, graceful, kind, & still determined to always do better. By sharing your ups, downs, happiness, sadness, & your authentic self, it allows others who come to your channel, to maybe not feel so alone. Like you said “dreams do come true”, and you’re living proof of that. Enjoy the life you built for yourself, you’ve earned it.

My dream is to take a Nile River cruise when I retire from my career in nursing. I am 56 now- I’ve been at it since age 22. I also get emotional at performances, etc. I come from a family of musicians and appreciate good music. I’m going to the symphony this Sunday and I may cry! Heck sometimes I cry when picking out the right card to give someone. Thank you for being so real when you’re sharing your stories and thoughts.
