They may be some of the mightiest heroes we’ve seen on the silver screen, but what makes the Avengers great is that they are also vulnerable beings, human or otherwise.
The Avengers have proven to be dysfunctional, erratic, and impulsive, but when it's time to kick some ass, they somehow pull it together. However, have you ever wondered what each individual member's main weakness is?

When iron man froze and lost power he just had to break the ice, but when Rhodey took a blast from vision there was no way of returning the power, because he was hit in the arc reactor which is the suits power source, so he had no way of saving himself from the fall
Plus, he went unconscious while falling.
And, he fell from much lower than Tony, who was trying for max altitude at the time- less time to react.

i’m gonna be honest, i was really expecting steve’s weakness to be bucky. i mean just look at the trilogy. most of his motivation is him. in civil war he literally became a fugitive of 117 countries just bc he loved and believed in his friend so much.

When Civil War came out, I was team Iron Man mainly because I liked Tony more at the time, and he had Spidey, Black Panther, and widow. But after rewatching the entire Cap trilogy, definitely team Cap. Some people just don’t know the lengths best friends will go for each other.

Huda Anuar dude shield hadn’t even been made yet and hydra was a separate nazi Germany scientific division... there was no reason for cap to believe that any remnant would be there to survive and grow inside of shield.

@@morgangrey4020 The character is supposed to be aloof and egotistical due to their power. That is called good acting. Thor was the same way, but he had to lose everything to realize it wasn't all about him. That is also why Thor was one of the few that liked her in Endgame.
@Frank Castle Honestly, she hasn't been in any "high emotion" situations yet. Her movie centered more around Rambeau's family than it did her own.

@Gregory Sullivan that makes no sense. He is totally weaker than odin. Odin died because plot. Thor is just a dude with no real leadership ability. He is no where near Odin level. Thanos would not have dared move in on odin, especially in Odin's prime, if he had any of the stones. Odin also casted one of the most powerful enchantments in Marvel history at a moments notice when he banished thor and enchanted the weapon.
The MCU has done a bad job at showing Thor's greatest weakness which is fearing he will wake up one day and no longer be worthy of wielding Mjonir.
Now we will never see that due to Ragnarok because:
1) his power doesnt come from the hammer.
2) no hammer
3) has stormbreaker after IW

@Gregory Sullivan first of all Thor did no whup Hulk they were both standing when grandmaster interfered,2 Thor was using his full against Hulk did you not watch the movie and 3rd I said the real Hulk not the green soyboy in the MCU, so actually Thor with Odin Force couldn't koed a shadow of the real Hulk ,and I believe Thanos kicked Thor's ass also .

When Doctor Strange said “there was no other way,” I think he was referring to early in the movie when he looked at the millions of realities when their group fights Thanos on that planet and only found one of them where they win.
I think everyone knew that, but in IW they probably were too surprised by his decision to see why Strange did it

Ever wondered why Spider-Man turned to dust slower than the others?
It’s because his spidey sense knew he was gonna die and his body was trying to heal itself so that doesn’t happen, but when he hugged Mr Stark his body gave up and he died.

Rocket is not helpless without a gun or starship controls in his hands. He's a good hand-to-hand fighter as well. In "GotG:V2" he easily took out two armed Ravagers with his bare hands.
Nebula displayed some real compassion in "Endgame" in taking care of Tony, turning down his offer of food and carefully picking him up off the floor and putting him in a chair when he had gone to sleep.
And to be fair, Ronan DID have the Power Stone when he "kicked Rocket aside" in GotGv1
Rocket doesn’t have hands as a trash panda he has paws.

Vision vaporized Rhoades's arc reactor. The same result would've occured had it happened to Tony. Rhoades's lack of technological prowess is not a weakness in this case.

Granted, it didn't look like a meteor crater, but there was still a dent in the Earth.
Iron Man in Mach 1 landed in a sand dune, from a few hundred feet up, and had a more porous surface to land on. If he would've landed on a granite mountainside, the results would've been a lot different.
Iron Man in the Mach 3 armor getting hit by a tank round was really just to show off how tough he and the suit were. J.A.R.V.I.S. should've seen it coming a mile away and warned him.

Every bone in his body would be shattered and his internal organs liquified. And, frankly speaking, u could show me the mark 1 million and it still wouldn't grant safety from the fall after getting shot out of the sky. The human body simply would _not_ survive in a battle suit of armor from such an impact. Ur not getting the point I was making. In fact ur answer baffles me. Exactllyy, i like Captain Marvel but some people just don't understand that character's who are overly confident are gonna act the way she does. Though.. I do still agree that they tried to make it seem like she was stronger then litterly everyone.
They tried to throw in a female hero right before endgame. They didn’t plan it properly and it’s annoying how things are overpowering potentially good movies. I think it was good they had a female hero but they tried to make her better than everyone which just wouldn’t work. I think this is what they are trying to do in Thor 4. Because of the actress of Jane leaving, her becoming Thor doesn’t make sense. They hinted that Thor and Jane broke up so why the heck would his ex gf be worthy of wielding the hammer. And I still think that Natalie Portman only came back because of the success of Ragnarok. No hate to her though because she is a great actress. Also Thor seemed better and more powerful without Jane. In Thor the dark world it was like Jane was the highest priority which made the entire movie aggravating. If they want a Female Thor then it should be Valkyrie. She did some pretty amazing things that could make her worthy. Sorry but I just needed to rant about that for a second😅

Things such as Jane's role in the film as a whole, how the freak the hammer comes back (not even gonna try to spell it-), and of course how the hell she is even worthy-alot of stuff that's gonna be abit difficult to explain. But i have my fate with the creator's of the film, i just hope they don't do the whole "Oh it's a female lead film lets say the character is great without showing it" Or the sadly common trait of "Oh it's a female lead movie lets make all the males dumbasses". They didn't do this in Captain Marvel but its something that really plagues movies like this.

Your wrong about warmachine and stark would have hit the floor just as hard... vision got a glancing blow of warmachine and took out the reactor, it doesn't matter how smart a person is no one could rebuild a stark reactor in free fall

even Spiderman parachute was using after rhode fall but the suit was create before that so i think parachute is a standard equipment in war machine suit be hes been blackout from kinda decompression sickness before he can troubleshoot the problem.

First of all War Machine went to MIT just like Tony that’s how they meet in the first place so he certainly may have some above average smarts and as for the fall his suit was basically made useless as when vision hit him he destroyed his power source and just made the suit metal scrap

@@ayushraj5225 She has literally no flaws as a hero (comics at least) and is just a strong woman for the sake of being strong. It’s not impressive that her power is stupid strong because she didn’t earn it at all.

There's a lot we don't know about her after the film's done, and we don't have too much of a sense of WHO she is, not like the others, granted we spent a lot more time with them. I think of the project was put into the hands of the Russos, or Taika, or Gunn, it would've been better.
I don't hate CM; I liked her powers but I do think she's a very underdeveloped person with an undeveloped story.

Rhodes’ suit in Civil War was basically a useless armor once it was shot in the chest. Unlike the Mark II’s case, the Mark III War Machine armor was more advanced, it did not have a backup arc reactor unlike Tony and his early armors. The situation of Tony’s suit freezing was very different from the situation Rhodey had. His suit was basically dead💀

Hawkeye: scepter (mind stone)
Black widow: flashbacks
You can't hold that against Hawkeye. Everyone in the mcu besides Thor can be mind-controlled...
@@sisisi16 would guarantee there's a comic of sorts disproving that... as it is, what did happen when scarlet witch hand wavyied him... like did she trigger the vision, was it because of her connection to the stones; if something can alter his conscious state like that, even as a vision, then their mind can be manipulated and they can be mind controlled... just opinion

I’m Thor’s defense he had the chance to save everyone. He carries the burden because he was right there in Thanos’s face and did the most damage but he didn’t go for the head thus he didn’t protect everyone like he was supposed to. It’s like being right there with a “save the day” button but sot and watch as things spiral out of control to the point you can’t save the day

I always thought Rockets weakness was being called a rodent (ie insignificant bc of his size) or how he’s still mad about he was made. I remember the scene in GotG:V1 when they were on Knowhere and after so much drinking he almost blasts Drax bc of what Drax says to him. You can feel the hurt in his voice when Rocket says “I didn’t ask to be made like this” ...still gets to me.
Um, you do realise Roadie's armor didn't have power, literally because his reactor was destroyed by Vision. Tony couldn't have done anything in that situation either. Tony fell but it was ice which could have been cracked and the MkII had power in it still.
At least Falcon beefed up his personal fighting skills in that montage where he became proficient with the shield.

I feel like Captain Marvel's weakness is supposed to be her "emotions" since it is mentioned many times in the movie that she shouldn't be overruled and overpowered by her emotions, but sadly we never get to see her actually be overruled by her emotions, not even in the beginning. So it's like "where are these emotions everybody is warning her about", because we don't get to see it. Which would've been nice, we'd see that she has to work on something to become her most powerful self.

The comparison between Tony and Rhodes was unfair. Tony’s suit only freezes up until he hit warmer atmosphere. Rhodes’ reactor actually got shot out, there was no way he was getting out of that unscathed.
I don't think Captain America, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, etc. can survive a nuclear bomb...

@@Aragorn7884 is that a joke? A nuke blast doesn't move at light speed, closer to the speed of sound. Maybe the EMP but that'll just kill your phone. Only about 5% of the blast is ionizing radiation which does move at light speed but the farther you are the less you're exposed to.

Now this is a different story
When Tony stark was frozen he still had power and just had to warm the suit and just break the ice I think (I haven’t watched the movie in forever so forgot exactly what he does)
While for war machine he got hit in the arc reactor (which is where everything in the suit is powered) by something even stronger then his beams and there was no way of recovery.
This was a good watch
I will argue with you on you're choice comparison with iron man and war machine. War machines power source was destroyed by vision. While Tony on the other hand had a power outage which fixed its self.
