That half time break down was just insane. This is one of the more underrated songs by them IMO. It slaps pretty damn hard.
I cannot use the word, that is used in music, for that without being banned by RUclips, but that intentional slow down is an awesome musical effect that you can actual write into the music but once again, cannot type that word but it means "slow" in Italian.

Dude you have to do Wings for Marie parts 1 and 2 by Tool with your wife. I remember it bringing you to tears, as it does most of us, back when you did it solo. You have to let her experience what you did with that beautiful song about Maynards mothers death.

Love your reactions.. Tool is my favorite band. If you haven't heard the song pushit. It's another great song both album and live versions. Every Tool song is worth hearing though.
They do not have a bad song; When I say 'bad' I really mean 'lazy/easy' - No band can say that.
They have done the saliva version of pushit.
For that album, it's hard to pick one over the other, although 4° always gets me pumped.
Shit scratch that, well do 4° but Bottom is hella up there for me for that album too.
My band started covering this song when we got goin. The crowds lost their shit everytime. And we played it good. Forever love this one

Also it’s crazy how good they were considering this is from the first album undertow from 1993 and they just became more refined as time went on considering the next album was AEnema that came out in 1996.
Opiate was prior to Undertow.
