How do you clamp the first part at 2:40? I also slide the metal part in, and try to flip it over to clamp it. It was almost effortless on your part, I can’t do it at all

why remove seat and belts etc.? every time is a complete setup and takedown? cant leave some of that stuff installed?
belts are used to hold seat in place while the same belts are used to hold full package togheter and as a shoulder strap to carry closed kayak along.
