Decision time: 2020 Tacoma, 2023 Canyon (Redesign), 2024 Tacoma (Redesign?)

I have a simple 2020 Tacoma, but I am very tempted by the 2023 technology-rich GMC Canyon. To complicate things, a redesigned Tacoma is imminent. Decision time.

I have the Tundra model from 2020. It is the TRD Sport model with lots of goodies: power windows, dual climate control, auto lights, Cruise with distance control, great sound system. I love it! The new Tundras remind me of a video game or a Tesla, that what inspired me to go retro :) with a 2020 model. Good luck on your search. One get thing about trucks, especially Toyotas, they hold their value.

My son has a late model Tacoma and hates the gas mileage. Hates. Take a look at the GM trucks gas mileage. Maybe an issue.

Thanks! If I can keep the combined average at 21 or above, that would be acceptable to me.

My advice is to take the 2023 Kia Sorento for a test drive, fuel efficient, more technology than you can eat, 7 year warranty, 4WD, not what you might call a truck, though very roomy nonetheless.

There is no such thing as V4, it is inline 4 🤭

Well, there are V4s, but, you’re right, these two redesigns will probably feature inline 4. Thanks for your comment and input!!
