this is so inspiring. every day there is work or school so I tend to put off drawing, but this video inspired me to just draw something small and low-pressure every day :)
That one about having fun is really really important i went to a fine art college and some of it was so rigid and elitist that it made art so joyless at times
Omg I’m so early!!! I just wanna say thank you for these videos, I’m a new artist (never drawn more than just doodles) and your videos have helped me a lot thus far!!!
1. Treat it as a hobby not practice 2. Copy artists you like 3. Fundementals 4. Keep a sketchbook 5. Life drawing 6. Drawing milleage points (anything counts)
You say copying loish is a bad thing but I already seen Two artist copying her style and loish herself follows them and they are doing just fine getting audiences.
I think I know what remind of myself start doing it in the first place because I want to become animator artist RUclipsr, but I don’t know what hobby feel like, how am I supposed to draw something I’m not good at for fun? I’m afraid if I treat my art as hobby, it’ll probably make me think it not improve my art. I don’t want to waste my life for draw nothing improve. Since when I was a kid, I wasn’t taking seriously become artist and being lazy all day. Any of you guy give me advice what should I do? Lucas I hope you see this.
I am also a young beginning artist with loose digital anime inspired art. I always teared pages from my sketchbook that I hated. Still do, but usually and only if the pencil ends up piercing the page. 😅
Hola (Hello in Spanish) It's strange that my subscription section put the two videos one after the other and when I'm done I keep the other video (Google translation something strange)
