@John Doe It was a success, just not to the unrealistic standard of greedy publishers like EA. They expect a niche game like this or Dead Space 3 (yes, horror is niche) to perform like, say, a Battlefield or a Star Wars game, and they go surprised Pikachu when it doesn't. Artistically, these games are a triumph.
I understand how the missions lacked certain complexity / variance and the final boss was.. meh compared to the rest of the aesthetics - but for me it did not fail at all - it is so memorable and I cannot simply put into a comment what this game means to me - it's so visionary
I enjoyed the game, but it's too minor. As well as the story, in order to enjoy this game with a sense of speed, which is similar to a racing game, you must practice and learn glitches...
Was wondering why the sound is so familiar (aside from playing the literal game) but I think it's reminding me of like, Tumblr main days when I would stumble upon random ambient music posted around, by very obscure artists. I dunno why but I miss those days
So calming... So nice... You just feel the wind blowing to you because your sitting down on the roof of a building looking over the city you run around everywhere. No danger, Police, or people beside your friends you trust.
The thought arises that a windmill integrated into a building like that must transfer nasty vibrations to the whole structure. The office workers are probably busy puking due to infrasounds.
that freedom airplane makes the game even better. Ive wandered in this game for years. Platinumed twice, setting no1 time trial spots,, but never noticed the plane(s) Epic. The only thing that could be better is the EA app. I played the game years later and the app was inaccessible. It was the only means to enable the ingame won runnerghosts and runners logo id.
@@GamingAmbience Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and maybe Fallout 4 are strongly recommended if you like action/RPG with open world, and full immersion in the game atmosphere. Tons of stories, charismatic characters and side quests with some of them are more exciting and more interesting than the main storyline
How did you get some of these shots?, like at 32:10 that looks like the camera would be arial since dont you swing across from the scaffolding to the part on the right during benefactor?
"THAT?? why didn't u just say that it is a crazy huge pendulum?" "because things should be called by their proper names.."
This game's concept is so unique it is such a crime for it to have failed the way it did.
It is a great game it just needs a "DLC" with the whole rest of the city with things to do :)

If the first Mirror's Edge did not exist and this was the first, then by comparison the game would have done better, unfortunately they downgraded.

It's not just the great audio mixing, which is top notch.
It's that video editing also.
I love the ambient parts of this track

I honestly never have played a Fallout game before, but I definitely want to do more Skyrim again eventually.
