So its Evo Japan time and that means news and announcements, and here's a pretty big one for ya. Lidia returns for Tekken 8! As mentioned in the video she was a key part of the Datamine leak so that means we probably know the other Season 1 DLC characters now, so check the vid description if you want a link to all that(or don't if you want to keep it a surprise!). Lots of goodies coming for S1 of Tekken so good times ahead! Watch and leave a like if ya liked the vid!

I’m so happy the DLC characters aren’t guest characters and indeed Tekken characters! Tekken 8 is my first Tekken game and I love it. I was mostly a Virtua Fighter & Soul Calibur focused 3D Fighter player. Thanks for the content and updates!!
I got a heavy feeling of there are guest, they’ll come from those two 3D games.

I can still feel how tilted I am with Lidia how oppresive she was imaginre how scary she would be in Tekken 8 mechanics.
Depends how she is introduced…. She became pretty fair after the nerf hammers. If Eddy is a sign, she’ll probably be broken again
So happy to see her back, she was one of my mains in 7 and she's great. But more importantly if this confirms the data mined list of characters I'm so happy because that's honestly a dream year of characters for me lol
As someone who was kinda disappointed by the leaks, it does make me happy to see others excited for it!

Super awesome video, Rooflemonger. Happy 30th Anniversary to one of the best fighting game franchises, Tekken. I am happy, excited and hyped to see Lidia back in Tekken 8. I am also aware of the Tekken 8 Season 1 datamine from a while ago. I have backed, believed and supported the Tekken 8 Season 1 datamine and I will continue to back, believe and support it. With Lidia returning, the Tekken 8 Season 1 datamine will most likely be legit, real and true. I like Marduk and Fahkumram and I am happy they are most likely to return to Tekken 8 for Season 1. Keep up the awesome content 🤠👍🏼

There was a leak way back when where they announced the characters were Lidia, Eddy, Fakhumram, and Craig Marduk. So, with Lidia, announced, the two characters yet to be announced for sure are going to be Marduk and Fak.
How difficult is Lidia? I'm new and never played T7, but was wondering if I should pick up 7 for $19 and possibly learn her before 8 release? Its a bit of money to learn a character, but I'm also not sure if her moves will transfer over since she's not a legacy character like Kazuya, Paul, Jin etc...
at least we can see lydia at the start up screen :D not a big lydia fan but she looks nice :D

I am honest, with Lidia coming back I will buy and learn Tekken. Just for her. I like her look and playstyle. Her movement looked so good in T7 and I can't wait :D

My dumb brain just thought of a theory:
What if in the new dlc story for autumn it would be that they would show more background about Reina?((originaly i assumed that nina woulr be main villain but we did see that reina offered for nina to work for her after her vacation?)) I thought why not she will take other g corp forces and began to resume where kazuya left off to take overmishima zaibatsu for herself?

Judging from the datamine, if the Tekken 8 Season 1 Pass consists of Eddy, Lidia, Marduk and Fahkumram, I don't care what anyone says, this will go down in history as one of the best, greatest and GOATED season passes for fighting games, along with Street Fighter 6's Season 1 Pass

You know that the base rosters are bigger than those days? There haven't been unlockable characters since Tekken 5 and Tekken 5 and onward have had bigger rosters and then 1-4.

It's sad that the DLC leak was true. Lidia being DLC again is not exciting and could've easily been a part of the base roster if anything. There is no character for me to look forward to in this season, but I am looking forward to the new stage and photo mode.

Low Key disappointed by the stage choice. They went with a Tekken 7 stage in low demand, instead of a high demand stage like moonlight wilderness, Tekken 4 rooftop, or electric fountain

Hope mk1 learns something about balance patches. Here we see Panda, one of the worst chars getting buffed, not like my girl Kitana which has never received any kind of buff, they even decided to go with Kameo general nerfs, instead of just doing specific nerfs to certain chars. Well, and I don't know what's the deal with Lidia, such a tasteless char, I'm not excited at all about her...

Because Lidia is returning, doesn't mean that Marduk and Fahkumram are coming back too. If they return, then Season 1 will be a bad start. The leak is actually fake. I hope we get Anna and Lei or Bruce or Miguel next after Lidia.

I don't care about Lidia mains out there, to me her design is bland and doesn't look like a tekken character same with Victor.They could've bring back Kuni/Kazumi/Anna/Eliza instead, even lucky chloe looks more iconic than lidia🥴
