I like when you share the German word for an item or phrase! We use a pumpkin pie pumpkin for our pies. We cut it in half, take out the seeds, lay it on a baking sheet, put it in the oven to cook it down. We mash it up and use it for pies, pumpkin bread, and in soups. They are very good for you. Everything was great as usual and I look forward with great anticipation to the kitchen renovation. Mary

I told my husband I am going on a trip today with my friends in England that are from Germany. He watched your channel and loved it too. We have watched and loved it. Yes, cheesecake does take a some time. For whatever reason, a lot of people can't make it very well. Congrats on your effort! If it tastes good, your patience won the day, and you did it! Oh we do love a traditional cheesecake in Germany which doesn't take too long - as this had the pumpkin puree in it etc. it took longer (I must admit it's the filming that takes up most of the time - we filmed from 8am until 4pm just for the baking/cooking section) but it was really worth it.
Of course we want to see it. Kirsten you have to be more confident because we love you. When you present these details of the table, the dishes, the tablecloth... it's like when we visit someone and they show us their home. Kirsten can i give you some of advise you dont have to take it 🙂 my mum was a master Baker she always said never crack a egg on a bowl it inverts the shell into the egg always crack on a flat surface the egg has a natural break in the middle. 😊
