I added a jack to mine that locks the pull-tower to the sill - it works off the wheels like yours too. I can now take the tower anywhere & do pulls without any other form of restraint - I banged up a video on my channel. I used be limited to working off a solid workshop upright - I can now take the tower to the customers vehicle & work there on any vehicle. That changed the game for me.
Great video and great comments. 👍 As far as I know you should not use the blue plastic parts on the I-Bar when using on flat surface. That’s how the i-Bar will pull 5 times stronger (w/o the blue plastics). Regarding blue plastic parts - bend them when pulling edges, that’s their function as far as I know.
them towers would be the bomb!.i jused a floor jack with a big old bar laid down under floor jack old school.raise floor jack for more pressure pullling down on a under rocker chrush one it worked good till the glue pulled the rockguard off.frustrating days for sure
I enjoyed your repair method and also appreciate your honesty reference to the steps you would take next time. Great lesson for me. Thanks.

I honestly dont remember the cost. I guess I charged $800-$1,200 for this one back then.
