    I already love your videos (and also the "this is the last part" announcements :D).
    With each one I learn something new and I'm always hyped if my phone tells me "SilverlyBee uploaded a new video".
    Waiting now for the next last part of this series ;)
    PS: Maybe you can bundle those Farm Sim parts to a playlist.
    That would make it much easier to navigate between them :)

      Thank you for your comment! It made my day :D It was supposed to be a 3 part series, but here we are lol.
      Thank you for your input, but there's already a playlist on the channel I'm posting the videos to. I might link it on the end cards now that you mention it.

    Still can't get the scroll to work, even after updating PlantStore -> Content Size Fitter -> Vertical Fit -> Preferred Size... any ideas?

    • @kumukolo2217
      @kumukolo2217 2 года назад +1

      Fixed: I must have made a mistake with the layout of the components. Just had to add top padding to the grid-layout group and voila! Now I can scroll up!

    Hei SilverlyBee! at this point I heard more your voice than any other this week lol. I have a question for this video also, everything worked out great, only thing is that my scroll menu starts at the center even when I set the PlantStore pivot to top, any suggestions?

    • @SilverlyBee
      @SilverlyBee  3 года назад +1

      LOL sorry for my audio quality though, I'm still trying to get it right. I'm sure the scroll menu thing is about the pivot. Be sure you are selecting the right component and that you are setting it's pivot correctly (You need to hold Shift to set the pivot and Shift+Alt sets the pivot+position).

    • @basiccomponents
      @basiccomponents 3 года назад

      @@SilverlyBee ok so basically when I put the pivot at the top, it puts it at the top of the Canvas rather than at the top of the Scroll View. Oh don't worry at all about the audio it's actually very relaxing lol it's not too loud.

      @@basiccomponents Is it parented to the content of the scroll view?

    • @basiccomponents
      @basiccomponents 3 года назад

      @@SilverlyBee yes it is parented as: Scroll View > Viewport > Plant Store. -When I click the PlantStore in-game it shows me that it goes from the very top of of menu to the very bottom, and when I exit play-mode it doesn't allow me to edit it's box shape manually, so I tried to change on the Grid Layout Group the Y size from 80 to 40, and it gets smaller but then the position of the plants in the menu becomes all wrong.-

      in game it allows me to move it's position in the React Transform from -135 to -220, but when I exit play-mode it doesn't allow me to change it in any way. How do I edit the data in React Transform?

    Hey I’m looking for someone to help develop a simple farming game similar to this, would you be interested?

    • @SilverlyBee
      @SilverlyBee  3 года назад +1

      Hi, thanks for the offer! Unfortunately I've got my hands full at the moment with the channel and developing my own projects. I'm sure you could try it following the tutorial though, or maybe teaming up with someone during a game jam to develop it.

      @@SilverlyBee Nice! Well great work on the channel, I'll definitely try to follow the tutorial. I've never developed a game before though, do you think this would be an ok difficulty for a noob?

    • @SilverlyBee
      @SilverlyBee  3 года назад

      @@brockchainlabs9019 Honestly I think this one can be a bit overwhelming if you have no prior experience, but if you're interested in game dev you should most definitely try a few tutorials. Of course the difficulty depends on your own past experiences (if you already know code and all that), but there are many great tutorials for beginners here on RUclips!
