What was your favorite film in the "Porky's Franchise"??? 🤔
The first has all of the classic scenes and jokes. Nothing will top the first one.
The first one
Pimpin' Pee Wee (2009)
First one
the Original Porky's is my favorite
My favorite is always gonna be the first Porkys that was best one as a kid lol
First one will always be the best because it's a classic
My parents took me to see Porky’s when it came out, I was 13. My mother walked out because it disgusted her, my father and I stayed and watched the whole thing and laughing our asses off 🤣🤣
Saw it younger and my mom eventually came around
Your dad is a good man! He probably took one for the team by staying. Good man.
Porky's was a rite of passage for those of us born in the 70's, teens in the 80's. I still laugh when I watch the first one, that dang office scene where Ballbricker is describing one of the guys, you know what, and the coaches and principal loosing it and 😂
Has anyone seen Mike hunt , is Mike hunt in the parking lot 😂😂😂
One of the funniest lines🤣
Bruh
I went to high school with a Mike Hunt.........didn't realize how funny it was until I saw the movie!
Not too long after seeing that movie, one there was a substitute teacher in gym class who asked everyone to write their name down on a sheet of paper as we entered the gym. Of course, I wrote down Mike Hunt in addition to my own name, and when he called it out, the whole class burst out laughing. He just lowered his head for a moment and said, "Oh, yeah.".
@@williamgottlieb8723 well played sir. WELL PLAYED 😅🎆👏🏿👍🏿
The first one is a classic. So many great scenes. Favorite line. " I'm looking for Mike hunt"
Hollywood Knights is another classic of the era
True
Newbomb Turk
Absolute classic 😂
Volare
@@pmccservices ThrrrrrP! LOL
I went to high school with Dan Monahan. He was our student council President. I've seen this movie at least 15 times. Looking forward to seeing him at our 50th high school reunion the weekend of August 12th!
really? he does look good for a guy his age. i wish he hadn't retired being an actor i've always enjoyed his work and my favorite role of his would be Up The Creek (1984) a classic that is vastly underrated i think. anyways i do hope you see him
@@rolandofgilead43 Olmsted Falls High School, class of 1973.
@@bobbybarnes408is that in Ohio? I graduated from Cleveland South in 1973.
@@queenbee3647 yes it is, it's on the far west side, near where Lorain county and Cuyahoga county meet. We also graduated in '73 .
@@bobbybarnes408 i Live in Amherst so we all from Ohio lol for me class of 99 so i';m younger than you
Porkys is one of the best comedy movies.
@9:04
"It's crooked, Frankie! You been screwing around corners?"
Lmao, first Porkys was the best!
Such a great film…great memories from an era when films were great & the times were a lot kinder & life was very much simpler
These were some of the funniest movies I've ever watched
I saw the original when I was 14 or 15 and I loved it. Second one wasn’t quite as good, but I enjoyed. Third one was kind of meh, but maybe it had something to do with me getting older.
There’s a great story surrounding the first Porky’s: The director, Bob Clark, had been shopping this other movie project that he really liked, but no studio would finance it. He directed Porky’s, and then it became a surprise hit. The studio execs wanted a sequel and asked Clark to do it, but he said he’d only agree to the movie if they first agreed to green-light the movie he had been shopping around, and they said OK. The name of that movie Clark finally got to direct? A Christmas Story.
Nice info. Thank you
The wife of deceased actor Wyatt Knight -- who played Tommy Turner in the "Porky's" movies -- confirms the actor took his own life ... telling TMZ he wanted to escape the "physical and emotional pain" caused by intense cancer treatments.
Damn that's sad
@thetruthofchristalwaysprev1269
We know. Stop preaching.
@thetruthofchristalwaysprev1269 Quit torturing yourself with nonsense.
I can understand
@thetruthofchristalwaysprev1269who are you to judge? 🤔🧐🤨😒🙄
The exchange between Principal Carter and Rev Bubba Flavel over Shakespeare and the Bible is absolutely hilarious and quite clever. "Thus sayeth the flock!" "Get the flock outa here!"
Bubble flavour
The with Bula in the principals office want a lineup of the boys naked was absolutely priceless. I could watch it thousand and would still make me laugh
I couldn't agree more! The cast made this movie a timeless classic.
"Can we call it a tallywacker?"
I (pissed my pants)-as we say in greece-laughing with this scene, many times.
Lassie's fiddler did have a great idea with the police sketch artist to create some wanted prick posters.
Tony Ganios and I were friends going back in the eighties! We both trained at World Gym in Santa Monica! Owned by the late great Joe Gold of the famed "Gold's" gym! Tony was a power lifter and I was a bodybuilder! Very strong and a nice guy! His buddy Ken Wall would come to World from time to time! Tony's co star in "The Wanderer's! Tony had a 1970 426 hemi Cuda and I had a 1967 full race Camaro! He is half Greek and Italian! And I am full Greek on both sides of my parents! Sure do miss those days! Joe has long since passed away! Another great guy! We use to go shooting every Saturday for many years! Sure do miss him! If your out there Tony, sending all my best to you bro! Miss you hope all is well with you! Your old pal, John...RIP Tony!!!!!
Great post bro. So shocked he passed away so suddenly. A real legend!
Yes a true friend! I was shocked to learn of his passing! Thanks for your post! My best to you and yours! JF.@@CABJ007
Thank you brother. I loved reading your post. Me being half Greek, I always respected Tony and his journey all the way from "Leave tha kid alone" to his sad passing.
Stay safe bro!
Loved this movei, sad to hear that Wyatt took his own life😌
I was 16 when this movie was released. I have loved it ever since. I am now 58.
Me too, Turlock Ca
Porky's is one of the greatest American movies ever. Far better than Citizen Kane, Titanic, The Sound of Music and many others
I loved the original film. It's nice to see that the cast did other great things, but sad to see that we've lost a few over the years. God bless them for what they gave us.
Fun fact: Porky's was a real place!! In the movie it was called Angel Beach but the REAL Porky's was in Fort Lauderdale way back int he day. I know because my Dad used to play piano there!!! He told a few stories...sounds like it was a pretty rough bar.
This movie was suppose to center around 17-18 year olds and yet all the actors were in their mid to late 20's. It's a shame that Ballbreaker passed away, I found her the funniest one in Porky's I, this was the only one I watched from dad's VHS collection.
i remember when she died she was also in the (1980) film Motel Hell which i've never seen but some love it and some hate it
Feel for her. My ex died of the same thing. It's a painful way to go.
To be a teen or young person when the Porkies franchise was around is hard to explain to those who see them now.
The first one is an icon. The 2 follow on's were not really same level, but fun anyway.
The penis line up forever makes me cry with laughter.
First 2 films were great, the last one, well it served it's purpose. I was 17 when Porky's came out, and this review truly brings back a truckload of memories from yesteryear !! Its always great to think about the best of times in ones life, back to the days when your worries were almost non-existent, maybe going on a date with the schools most beautiful girl, and being on time for a varsity basketball practice! 😅
Thanks for the memory incentives, they truly are priceless... GBY all !!!❤🇺🇲🤗😎
Truly. If only we knew how good we really had it in that last final stretch of childhood(16 - 18). In the moment, in our stupidity, all we can think of is: hurry, hurry, gotta grow up! It's such a sad summary of the human condition that we are given youth and ability, long before we are granted the wisdom recognize that. I think it was Mark Twain that said: "It's such a pity that youth is wasted on the young."
The first one was the best one.
The pride and joy of Angel Beach ---- Meat.
Is Wendy still looking for Mike Hunt 😂
one of the funniest movies ever!
Hahaha I'm old! I was 7yrs when this came out. I saw it with my uncle's at the drive in. I remember my grandma screaming at them when we got home😂. She still talks about it when we all get together she's 89 now. Its part of family members! Hahaha
I watched Porky's at the Age of 14 or 15 so loved it after my Cousin hired it from the local Video Store
he hired a VHS from a video store? so when did he fire it?
Thanks for taking me back to high school days. Watched them all in the Turlock theater.
The scene in the principals office is classic I know every word And laugh every time I see it
All 3 was good, but the first Porky's was the best
I remember the scene in the first Porky's movie, when the female gym teacher was trying to explain the incident, in which holes were drilled in the girl's shower and she had the evidence in hand, so it seemed. She was explaining it in the principal's office and it was totally hilarious. I laughed so hard, I almost cried.
Best scene of the trilogy.what a lough!!!
I love them all, I have the DVD Box Set, and can not wait for the Blu-Ray Box Set
I found out today that Tony, Meat, Ganios died during an "emergency surgery. " he was my favorite actor in PORKYS. RIP TONY !!!❤❤❤❤❤❤ PS Tony was also in the movie CONTINENTAL DIVIDE with John Belushi.
I remember watching the first Porkys as a kid with my dad on HBO. I was a bit young for it lol. Good times.
It's touching to see the cast members acknowledging their fans and expressing gratitude for the support they've received over the years.
Porky’s was definitely my favorite out of the trilogy. Definitely a major part of my teenage years.
meat was really funny in Porky's, I saw him once at the Sherman oaks minigolf!
Meat was always funny. My favorite line in Porkys he said was towards the end was "Hey Ramses, curse of the Pharoah "
Loved Porkys! Such great memories! Glad to see most of them still active. Sad to hear about Wyatt and his battle with cancer. RIP 😢
I remember seeing Porky’s in the theater when I was 11 years old, I went solo. Back then the movie theaters didn’t care how old you were, “you got the money, you got a seat.” 😂
The original Porky’s was my favorite.
Tony Ganios was one of John McCain's (Bruce Willis's) victims in Die Hard 2. Icicle to the eye socket. I just can't see how this career highlight could be overlooked.
I liked him and I you said it's a shame. He could have been in many other movies.even for just a henchman roles like dh2.
Don’t forget he played Perry in The Wanderers. A really good role and he did it very well.
Bob Clark is a classic in and of himself. with Porky's and A Christmas Story. The Proky's whore scene never gets old as does the shower scene.
Now youngsters lough with movies like American pie or superbad.
I thing that (revenge of the nerds) was quite good too.
MEAT!!!!! .. I was 8 years old when my friends and I finally were able to sneak into the theater and watch... We all obviously had a thing for Cattrell, not that we would have known how to do anything too her! Porky's 1 was definitely the best.. Thanks for the flashback!!
It's inspiring to see the cast members as they are now, still radiating talent, charisma, and a passion for their craft.
Movies like Porkys are! Timeless classic 80s comedies! That are some of the funniest ever! That will last forever as far as I'm concerned!
Thanks for the laughs and rest in peace to the ones who are no longer with us
Great film
I remember Tony Ganios as Perry in the wanderers great movies in the seventies and eighties love Anthony Fed ex lol
That movie was so cool,I thought that I remembered reading that in real life, something happened to Tony? About his health maybe?
I recently re-watched all of them. They hold up really well.
Never gets old
yeah they do i really need to upgrade them but i have the dvd set and i watch all three one after another as i always do and i always wish there was a 4th each time i finish them. man am i so glad that Howard Stern cancelled is, i can't remember if they finished filming it or if they were still filming it before it was Cancelled i want to say it was suppose to come out in (2007)
@@rolandofgilead43they shut down the filming the remake of Revenge of the nerds because the college they were shooting at got a hold of the script and booted them out for being too raunchy (we got bush got revamped to we got beaver for…well..obvious pubic hair maintenance reasons)
- the script to Howard Stern Porky’s only made it through development stage. I got a chance to read one of the drafts and it was actually funny as hell - instead of the 50’s it was set in 1989 and the jokes were growing up in the 80s rather than rehashing the same jokes as the original but you can definitely see why there was issues with the script because it was NC-17 levels of raunchy (one side plot revolves around Pee Wee meeting a hooker at Porky’s who um…steals his dead father’s watch when she convinces him to do a…sex act on her and refuses to give it back and Miss Honeywell who still screams like banshee but aslo gets stigmata ( “sorry about that I get the stigs when I cum” )
Nobody gonna say anything about 26 year olds in high school??
I know, right? -Lol. 🤣 Similar thing with movie The Breakfast Club.
Great memories and great filming locations. Thanks Kurt. Keep up the videos
As a teenager, seeing the Kim Cattrall locker room scene sent me directly into manhood
It's inspiring to see the cast members embracing new challenges and stepping out of their comfort zones to push their artistic boundaries.
I saw Porky 2 and 3 at the Drive-In. Porky's 3 had a fantastic soundtrack!
Would have liked to have seen Tony Ganios appear in many more productions....but alas. The Wanderers is one of my favorite movies.
Loved Porky's and Porky's II: The Next Day
As someone who works in the entertainment industry, and also the girlfriend of Cyril O’Reilly, who played Tim in Porkys… We are devastated at the passing of Tony Ganios on February 18 shortly before all the guys were going to be reunited at this autograph signing show. Tony had been looking so forward to seeing his best buddies, whom he stayed close with ever since they did the film together RIP Tony….you are forever loved by so many. ❤🙏🏻🎭✨🌟
I always thought that due to the way Porkys was financed that it counts as a Canadian film rather than an American one?
i watch all 3 every few years. Got an eye full when i watched them several times over the years on cable at the tender age of 12
Very good vid..good research! I'll subscribe just for that alone.
Didn’t realize Susan Clarke and Alex Karras were the parents in Webster. I didn’t watch that show but remember it well, nice to see they worked together for so long!
This video is a testament to the cast's dedication, hard work, and the lasting impression they have made on audiences worldwide.
Father Time is 100 undefeated
I liked watching Tony Ganios as Meat, and also, he was a bad guy that fought with Bruce Willis in Dead Hard 2.
You liked watching Meat?....🤔
Tony Ganios(Meat) passed yesterday. RIP,Meat
Porkys the first one was my favorite 😂
I went to the the cinema one afternoon in the UK and saw the film was playing. It didn't have great reviews but I thought Ok I'll give it a go. I found it hysterical. Crude and some of the laughs were cheap but it was very funny.
Oh my. How many times since 1981 have I used the Mike Hunt gag?? 😂. So many people have been suckers for that one but it only works when I can keep a straight face🤣🤣🤣
i couldnt move in porky,s 2 when steve was at the graveyard doing the boogie woogie thing so funny 🤣🤣🤣
THE FAMOUS GIRL SHOWER all i heard about in school .
D'Annunzio did a fine acting job in Porky's.
Porky’s will always be my all-time favorite.
I loved that movie.
Porky's was fun to watch , I had a good time watching that movie 🎥
Kim seems like she never ages..
Great updates!
I'm so sorry about Wyatt. Truly a big fan of his. Smart funny talented actor.
I worked for the catering company that fed the crew and actors on their set when shooting in Interama , which is now Florida International University campus site , back then it was Miami's wild woods LOL
The first one is my favorite. The scene that takes place in the principal's office, immediately after the infamous peaking in the girls' shower scene, is, in my opinion, one of the funniest movie scenes in movie history; certainly the 1980s. There is actually a 4th movie. It's called
PORKY'S: PIMPIN' PEE WEE (2009). None of the original cast is in it, and I read it was made in a rush, so I don't even count it.
Loved all the porkys movies very much
I loved all the porky movies they kept me laughing❤
R.I.P Tony Ganios
R.I.P Tony
Came out my senior year.... unforgettable
RIP Tony Ganios (1959- 2024).
Nothing beats the first one, they could have left it at that and had a legacy cult classic.
The first two PORKY'S Movies are great comedies - with the third Porky's movie just being OK.
Tony Galio Just passed Away.
Rip.
Anybody here who was a teenager in the 50s?? I like to think this movie accurately portrayed the youth in the 50s. Seems the most "realistic" to me..
good video
🥀😭 RIP Tony Ganios...
Pork 1 my favorite
My first R rated movie. I was only 11
Great film.
They all my favorites
I liked the first Porky’s film the best, but I did enjoy all of them. The sequels weren’t quite as funny, but did manage to develop the characters further.
