I think the statement you're replying to is nostalgic because the 80s simply were a better time than now. Our society had problems but was not yet corrupted by the Internet - which has made things much worse. Ask anyone who lived pre-Internet.
Yet another great movie from the 80’s. I’m so glad that I was able to grow up in those years when the movies were amazing, and the music was awesome!! ❤
Yeah, great music. Transformers, Gi joe, and so many more. My Chicago Bears won Super Bowl 20. My Bulls also drafted a kid named Michael Jordan. Bird vs Magic. Hulkamania
i've seen them all i love part 2 part 3 is not that bad of a film to be honest if my memory is right i think that's the one where Stan joins the nerds which is odd but it's not bad. part 4 is the weakest with Booger getting married that sequels came out in (1987), (1992) and (1994) the last one was on Fox i can't remember if part 3 also was on Fox. part 4 is one of those movies where it depends on my mood i've seen numerous times as i've seen part 3 as well numerous times but part 4 is really depends on my mood, if i'm in the right mood i don't mind it if i'm not i do some movies are like that and music too for me weird ain't it?
@@gbear2253 fair enough one thing I didn't like was Gilbert was recast for part 3 and I think 4. Part 3 had Louis have a ponytail and be rich with Betty and they have kids. And for the majority of it he's not a nerd. It's different I think and though he does end up a nerd again at the end I like it. Many don't for that reason but I get why part 4 is so hated though
The 80's was the pinnacle point for everything in the USA.........music, TV, movies........... The Nerds movies and the Porkys movies are my favorite "teen" movies from the 80's. They can't be beat.
I have this memory of sitting on the front porch of a little pink house having a cigarette and listening to a rock n roll station. I was in a t shirt with greasy hair and a greasy smile wondering if this was my destination. Anyway, I vividly recall the two morning DJs reviewing and promoting this movie. They would have those be the the tenth caller and win tickets to see the Revenge of the Nerds. I almost didnt want to see it because it was so over hyped. But it finally came on Showtime, and it had some funny moments. The End
Man , these are really cool to see being a kid in the 80s ! Im 45 now and its just so cool to see what they are up to after all these years . Ive seen this movie easily 75 to 100 times !
Sadly for the exception of Bernie Casey amazing to see a movie this old which I absolutely loved where all the actors are still alive! Revenge of the Nerds will always be a classic in my heart! Loved Ogre he was one of my favorite characters. He seemed generally evil in the 1st movie but as the movies came along he realized how bad he was and became great friends with the Nerds!
I like how they credit everyone for their other accomplishments. But they should have acknowledged Robert Carradine for his martial arts skills. David Carradine wasn't the only one in their family to excel in that area. He just is the only one to become famous for it.
💙 this movie I have all three wished I could of seen it at the pictures back in the day this movie is so cool 😎 I absolutely love Lewis 😍💋 booger, terkashie, wormer, lemar, Arnold woohoo my gang forever miss this movie 🍿🎥😢😢
its also a recent mind blowing reveal to me that judy was played by same girl who was in real genius and was same girl in outsiders.. never made that connect, but makes sense with the voice now
I hate replacement characters in shows and movies. the one exception was Jefferson D'Arcy replacing Steve Rhodes in _Married With Children._ McGinley killed it with that character to where Jefferson became way better than Steve.
I liked that he wasn't just the "pretty boy" replacement, I especially loved the episode where it was revealed that he used to be a spy.@@PhantomFilmAustralia

whats crazy is one of my fave movies, its a childhood memory thing.. but just the last time i watched , i noticed something that just went over my head or never cared before... but there were 7 other nerds who lived in house(side note think about that 13 guys in at most 4 bedroom house ) they never speak or interact, they just there lol also realized or thought of what exactly was stans hatred of nerds so deep that he was over the top mean to them.. even enough commit crimes? and why would lewis think the AB's are gonna except him when they literally just ransacked dorm and tossed them ...! also why would cop say not his jurisdiction for a rock thru a window.. especially before they were a frat ?

The First One! I was a kid in the 80s when I watched it.
I'd do anything to go back to 1984 and stay there.
If that's true, you really need to figure out why, fix it and live your life. You're wasting valuable irreplaceable time.
I think the statement you're replying to is nostalgic because the 80s simply were a better time than now. Our society had problems but was not yet corrupted by the Internet - which has made things much worse. Ask anyone who lived pre-Internet.
@bobbywoods684 It's not about fixing your life, just wish going back to a better place in time than the current present. That is all.
@@bobbywoods684 I don't think it was meant to be take seriously.

That Japanese dude going around on that tricycle drinking a pint after every lap still cracks me up!!
Was he the inspiration for Toshi on American Dad?

Glad to see that 99 percent of the cast is still alive!Thats very rare in such a old film…
Not UN Jefferson, he died in 2016
I'm so happy that almost everyone is still with us. R.I.P. ( edit) Bernie.
The first "Revenge Of The Nerds" is still my favorite one. I saw it theaters when I was 13
Summer of 83?
One of the greatest comedies of the 1980s!
Agree!+
The original "Revenge of the Nerds" is the best. I knew there was a sequel but I had no idea there were four movies. Thanks for another great video!
Nerds 3 & 4 were "Made-For TV" movies. Which explains why they aren't very well known.

To think that the sorority girls couldn't see a hole in the wall the size of a skateboard wheel with a black periscope sticking out of it. 😂
Lamar Latrell still holds the record for the longest javelin throw in history.
Yes he does!!! And the flamboyant way he throws it
Thank God wormser design it for his limp wristed throwing Style

I worked in a movie theatre where the first revenge of the nerds played. It did really good business.
One of the good flicks from the 80's. Great stuff. Bless them all.

Porkys too.
Animal House as well.

Robert Caradine, I remember him on a movie about a crazy Killer Whale called Orca.
