Ask yourself this question when Palmer and Whitworth left did they publicly air grievances with the coaching staff or ownership? This franchise has been looked at as not a serious franchise for a long long time well before Zac arrived. Only positive is Mike is pushing 90. The day he is gone he’ll be remembered as a frugal old loser who achieved nothing.
Sorry to bug u out man but Mike's daughter Katie Blackburn, has been doing the contract negations for the last couple of decades. All the upset players that got low balled and had to fight until the very last second to get a fair contract extension, unfortunately that was her and her husband's doing. I'm not sure if it can get worse under her leadership but I doubt it'll get much better
Ryan Rehkow has also exceeded my expectations. 9th on Average with 50.3 yards and 8th place on kicks in the 20. Plus a couple of his booming punts have been fun to watch. . . rarely a thing I get to say. So, if Ryan Rehkow wasn't mentioned, I would give him a thumbs up, also. Having said that, when the punter is in the top 5 bright spots on the team or close, that doesn't bode well for the rest of the team. No disrespect to Rehkow. *EDIT: Ah, I missed the Rehkow mention on my first watch. Well done, fellas. Beat me to it.
It’s one thing to ruin your own franchise and legacy but it’s criminal to do it to Joe, Jamar and their fans. You’d think they’d want to get it done for Mike brown but I guess they’re too stubborn.
Every player not named Burrow, Chase, Brown, Brown Jr., Hill and Mims have failed to meet expectations. Is it coaching, is that why 47 out of 53 players have performed below expectations
Drew Sample has pretty much met expectations, which are pretty low; whereas Cody Ford has exceeded expectations, being a backup guard who has played better than I thought he would (at left tackle of all positions). Vonn Bell has played pretty much like I thought he would, same for Geno Stone. I didn't have high expectations for these guys. Vonn Bell was let go by the Panthers for a reason, and Geno Stone was a 7th round pick. Sheldon Rankins had a good game going against Cappa last year, but he's mostly just been an average player. I guess my point is that people evidently had unrealistic expectations for a lot of these guys. They're decent players but not great. Some of these guys just aren't starters.
Definitely also thought stone would be better more physical player, he robs us this year on that two year deal we gave him ,hopefully he plays better on his last contract year next year!
You can say it…despite an absolutely horrible Oline. They don’t protect JB and don’t seem to care every time he gets drilled. I just hope they don’t get him hurt again.
Linemen immediately get worse when they come here. Not just 9ne or two guys....all of em. How Pollack still has a job...not just here, but anywhere, is beyond me.
All was doing well before he got hurt. Chase Brown actually has improved IMO. Iosivas has been good. I blame coaches for underperformance of Gesicki, I don’t get trying to get Burton involved and not a guy that has caught many NFL TDs in the redzone. Jamar and Gesicki should be griddying together every week smh
Said this a week ago Cam and Mac have killed our season , (week later) season over because of Mac and Cam smh, crazy how just those two positions. I knew cam was not it once he got beat when we played KC on a go route
Have a possible theory to ponder? Wonder if all the practice time strike zones and flop new kickoff rule consternation has somehow caused a league wide unintended consequence of now the FG kickers are struggling? No real data to spout out but too many coincidences in life is NOT a coincidence...if it was just Penny Mac id think no way. But with HOF tucker and our sb kicker Elliott and others afflicted am wondering???
Strictly from a record standpoint, the Bengals are about where I expected them to be. The only game I expected them to win that they lost was the game against the Patriots. I didn't expect them to beat the Ravens or the Chiefs, although they could have won those games, same for the games against the Commanders and the Chargers, but realistically I'm not surprised they lost those games. They are what they are. That's what happens when you have a series of mostly bad drafts.
Burrow has been consistently missing guys on go balls so I’d hesitate to say burtons the problem because he’s missed multiple ones to tee and Jamarr as well. The weird 1 handed attempt in the end zone was wack tho.
Geno nick scott jr. I can't wait for geno nick Scott the 2nd at the start of next season since the brown family is too cheap and greedy to get good talent
Halfway thru...did someone in The Locked on Bengals forget about..our first round pick from UGA?? Hes the massive dude on the right wearing Willie Andersons jersey? And to make sure we get in a CALAIS CAMPBELL reference our dude is alot younger comparatively?? WHO AM I??
Spoke too soon...James DID get in his daily CALAIS CAMPBELL love!! Is the campbell side of the family coming to the Rapien Thanksgiving dinner? Bringing pumpkin pie??
Why does McPherson's kicks have so much fade left on them? Anders Carlson kicked a 58 yarder that hugs the left post and stayed inside the goal post from start to finish. What is specifically causing that much fade on the kick?
Justin Smith, Whitworth, Zeitler, Bates, Reader. History repeats itself. This FO needs to change the way they look at building a team. You don't let star players go to sign players like Hubbard, Rankins or Stone. If you have a good player, you release role players to make room for that star player because they can't be replaced.
Credit to Jake and JAMES for showing some backbone and calling out the coaching staff and front office.

Play that Geno Stone highlight film..I have a few seconds!
You’ll have 2 seconds to spare so take your time
Can you talk to the front office about putting the Bengal back on 50 yard line? It's way cooler than the B
Who cares about that?

Tee higgins if he's healthy though. Agree with the rest

Agree with Drew Sample...even though he shouldn't have been a 2nd round pick... only for our front office??
Trey Hendrickson on D is a
Beast. Leads nfl in sacks u can’t leave him off the list
Definitely also thought stone would be better more physical player, he robs us this year on that two year deal we gave him ,hopefully he plays better on his last contract year next year!

I've never seen an o line this disconnected from reality. Just sad to watch that they don't even back up their meal ticket

Cam Taylor brit is effective just not as a cb1
James has all the smoke for players but kid gloves for the front office

It’s def something off or something more sinister going on in Vegas

The expectation vs reality on Burton, by the fan base, has to be the biggest gap this year.
Unless they get a competent defensive end to help put consistent pressure on the opposing quarterback the secondary will continue to struggle.
Burrow has been consistently missing guys on go balls so I’d hesitate to say burtons the problem because he’s missed multiple ones to tee and Jamarr as well. The weird 1 handed attempt in the end zone was wack tho.
Steve spags as HC?
Cam Taylor Britt b n the clubs all night n turn around n play im not surprised
They need to cut this loser
Can't be throwing your career away over the Cincinnati nightlife 😂
Geno Scott 😆

Jamie Pratt
The defense backfield is horrible!!!!!!!!
Too late now with all the injuries...but a starting safety in 2025 SHOULD be?????....CTB. Like Dax he was-is in wrong spot
Time to call Bill
Jamaica Pratt is garbage he's slow and misses a lot of tackles please look at the games
Dax hill was awful he misses so many tackles
Tee Higgins gone after this season
Good. He only shows up for half a season anyway. He's ALWAYS injured.
Yea Burton tryin to catch the ball wit one hand was zoning
Wym? I missed this play. Genuinely curious
@@jd8606 when burrow threw it to him n the end zone he just went up with one hand, being lazy n cute
@TaylorPort ill definitely go and re-watch burtons plays
I could see it being true. I do know that burrow and Burton have been out of rhythm for sure

I swear I think it's the holder, looks like he slightly leans the ball towards himself
This. Could. Have. Been. A Super Bowl. Winner. Take. Current. Roster add. Whitworth. Bates. Ogunjobi reader Zietler. But. Penny. Wise and. Pound. Foolish 26:34 26:34
