I'm done. I've been done. I'm so fed up with this team. From Zac being a dumb as paste high school coach at times, to 18 of the 24 starters being completely terrible consistently.
You don't lose 6 one score games in 7 losses without coaching being an issue. It's so infuriating. Yes, the defense is trash. Yes, the O-line interior is the worst in the league. Yes, personal is top heavy. But my God. Joe Burrow is at 27/4 td/int ratio and is staring down the barrel of a double digit loss season. Jamarr the ONLY WR IN THE LEAGUE over 1k yards at this point.
Hendrickson leads the NFL in sacks, and we are dead in the water every single time on D. This is unacceptable.
Fire someone. Anyone. I don't care. I don't want excuses or ho-hum propoganda this channel has put out for 2 years now.
This team is sitting around a dead campfire in a blizzard, and all we've seen is these guys talk about how great the old fire used to be.
Time to rebuild. Too many flaws. Too many shit coaches. 2021 and 2022 is just a burning memory.
P.S- Even McPherson shouldn't be an NFL kicker right now on his form, and we signed him for long term premium money based off one off-season.
    Unreal. Pathetic. Dumb. Fix it.

I'd give MacPherson a pass. This has not been his best year. But kickers are funky lot. He's missed 2 40-50 yard field goals but he's 3-7 at 50 plus yards. There are plenty of kickers in the NFL who are worse than him. Hell Justin Tucker missed not one but 2 40-50 yard FGs against the Steelers. His stats are virtually identical to Mac's. When it goes bad it spreads and affects every player. The team has lost its mojo.
I agree with the coaching assessment. Zac is not a good play caller. He wasnt even a playcaller when he came from the Rams.

It's not even that they "went cheap". They made bone headed decisions like letting DJ Reader walk (signed with Detroit for 2 yrs/ 20 mil) and signing Sheldon Rankins for 2 yrs/24 mil. In what world does it make sense to pay more to get worse. They're both aging veterans. It's not like they got younger. Rankins had a career game against the Bengals shitty interior OL last year and the Bengals scouting department thought "future hall of famer!" instead of realizing their guards are unathletic.

I'm just here to state it again for those who just can't seem to get it: This ridiculous offensive concept they run is foolish, limiting, cuts out 66%+ of your options, weakens the offensive line and leads to Burrow taking punishment. Stop it with the shotgun/empty offense or just keep doing the same insane things. I don't care if you throw for 350 and 3 TDs, that was basically the entire sum of your production and Burrow had to take a beating just to get it and still lose.
This is one of the dumbest, least adaptable, infuriating and insane teams I've ever watched at any sport and it has been for years. Nobody mentions any of this and you don't even have to be particularly bright to see it. Just observant and be able to match shapes.

I am reading rants from others now who are claiming to be done, fed up, whatever. I am one of those ranters. Been a Bengals fan practically since their inception in the late 1960s. None of that matters much just that it is a long time. If I can describe it one way I would say hoping for the best waiting for the failure. Was last evening's example any different? McPherson, God Love him, for the simple reason that he has in fact had success where the Bengals are still waiting for others to show those signs consistently. That list by the way is obvious to even the infant fan. Players who's names are never called over the course of a game that are NOT rookies any longer. I think we can agree the free agent class is nothing short of unspectacular to say the least. Moss on IR now only served to motivate what they already had in Chase Brown. Herbert is taking Chris Evans spot with Trayveon Williams at the bottom of the depth chart. How many years is he going to be there? That is just one example. Others include Rankin who flew to California I suppose, got sick, and couldn't play. The DL is less than stellar and MUCH worse without Hendrickson. The linebacking and now Wilson is starting to come under fire. The secondary, for a unit on the team, where so many draft picks have been exhausted in recent years, Jesse Bates couldn't save them anymore than he can save Atlanta. My honest opinion about the secondary overall, you can't teach speed and no matter what they do they are likely always going to be steps behind the opposing receivers, unless that team is Carolina or one of the other struggling teams who lack a franchise QB. This is typical Bungles front office blunders, watching Ravens-Steelers yesterday the subject came on how the Ravens signed Derrick Henry. Apparently he was out there and the Ravens, having given a ton of guaranteed money already to Lamar Jackson among other things, noticed with Harbaugh that Henry was still available and went out and got him. They got their man. The Bengals, Mikey and Dukey went out and grabbed Zack Moss and called it a day. They were basking in the glory of having signed Stone to fix their secondary, so they thought. Rankin, it was well known he would not replace Reader but what the heck, he is proving to be what fans, who care about the Bengals thought. Individual player comparisons always significantly pale in comparison to an organization not committed to it's team, it's fans, or it's city. The examples are endless including coaching. For years they promoted from within. 16 years of Marvin Lewis was not only reluctance to change but also a silly commitment to accepting continued failure while breaking down perceived racial barriers. Their is no racial barriers in coaching, Mike Tomlin is the best in the NFL and is right up with Andy Reid. Now the NFL and its Commissioner attacks NFL Owners because many are not a variety of different races. My point there is being given more than a fair opportunity to succeed when in fact the standard is and should be higher for all, including those ancient cheapskates apparently who think Paul Brown commitment and business like thinking works today. Dealing with player agents who make a living knowing who they represent and what their value is? The Bengals brass are either darn lucky or made to look like complete fools alongside their competitors. Signing Burrow to a long term deal was draft luck as well as a no brainer. Hendrickson is a current bargain that won't last. Higgins is gone so in a few they can admit they blew it again drafting Burton, and Chase could be next. What's next? Two more years of a three year Drew Sample deal? More guys revolving in on one year deals, Irv Smith, Mike Gesicki? Team has zero depth, what starts is lackluster at most positions out on that field, and the worst of it all is an organizations piss poor commitment. Folks that has decades of mistakes proving that and on-going. A bye week, in more ways than one, bye bye to another season.

I feel like the only teams that beat us this year is Washington and Philly.
They said after the patriots game that the Mike Gesicki catch was a touchdown.
They called pass interference on 4th and 17 on a uncatchable ball to help Kansas City beat us game is over if they don’t call that.
We’re beating the ravens the entire game by double digits then we can’t play no more joe throws a pick then we run it THREE straight times and then fumbles the snap oh yeah the kicker missed kicks in like every loss.
Joe gets hit late the ravens game no call, the ravens hold no call, and then for the two point conversion joe gets hit in the head no call in the second meeting between the ravens.
Down by 21 to the chargers who have people from Xanadu at receiver but we play zone and they get open, Mike Hilton drops a pick, Joe burrow misses a walk in touchdown deep shot to chase, did I mention my kicker who they call money mac has no money and continues to miss kicks cut his ass.
Trey Hendrickson has more sacks then the Atlanta Falcons defense as a whole but there winning. No one else on the team has more than 3 sacks. My free agent Geno stone is still getting paid by the ravens he plays like shit, my other free agent signing Sheldon rankins defensive tackle has 1 tackle for a loss the entire season. My coach don’t know how to call plays to get people open. My starting corner can Taylor-Britt talks more then he covers people and was benched tonight. Oh yeah Chase dropped a pass that would’ve made the field goal easier but he would’ve just missed anyway smh. Oh yeah second ravens meeting up 2 scores you don’t want to turn the ball over and chase brown fumbled, my third round pick wide receiver was inactive because he missed a Saturday walkthrough and last but not least Tee Higgins is hurt every other week. I feel like margins are generally slim in NFL... if I remember correctly, during the Bengals Superbowl run, the defense and specials teams was lights out? Evan McPherson kicked three game-winning/walk-off field goals in hte playoffs... he's missed two opportunities to potentially ice games this year (1st ravens game, chargers game). Aside from McPherson, I feel like the team does not play complementary football (defense will play one good half and then melt down in the second, or vice versa); the secondary consistently looks lost and frequently out of position, and the offense is under pressure to score 30+ every game to win.

Criticizing Burrow and Chase for not making enough plays at the end of the game is just plain dumb, they managed to drag this husk of a team to come back from a three score lead and tied it. You can't expect your offense to get a touchdown every drive, the pathetic defense and garbage kicker need to do their jobs. That's the problem well besides coaching that's the biggest problem. Need to just tank and clear out everybody, the entire coaching stuff and Tobin. Of course they probably won't do that.

As great as they have been, it is totally fair to point out the shortcomings in the last 10 minutes of the game. TBH Burrow asked to be held accountable to that high of a standard when he signed his enormous contract, and Chase is trying to do the same.
Obviously there are weak areas of the team and I'm not saying they aren't responsible as well, but in losses like these everyone gets scrutinized.

As a lifelong Bengals fan I would just like to see the team bench the starters... only to protect them from any injuries this year, and allow all the second team players to get some live experience the remainder of the season. Team leadership has to figure out what it's going to take to be able to get the Bengals to play competitive football in the very first game of the season and not take 2 months to warm up. I think it's time to bring in a new head coach.

They dug themselves in an early season hole, and just don’t have the roster depth to dig themselves out. The O line coach needs replaced,as well as the D coordinator. Start with finding an edge rusher opposite Trey Hendrickson, along with a nose tackle. Revamp the secondary and get a lock down veteran cornerback. On offense you have to replace the guard play. Volson is not a starter, and Cappa is struggling beyond belief! Once all these issues are addressed the team will start to play better on both sides of the ball.

FO needs a big shake up, Duke needs to go unless ownership knows they got in the way with all these misses, if thats the case they need to completely recuse themselves of all football operations and start signing checks....if Duke hasnt been pushing that then he needs to be fired and we need to absolutely hire a compotent GM, with absolute GM responsibilities and authority.
ZT probably needs to be fired....the only half measue is bringing in coordinators with their way of doing things and ZT hands over playcalling and authority to them...he needs to give up game planning too....which probably means just fire him.
They should look to cut Evan too, at least explore if there can be an average kicker and savings, which are then used to stop letting good players walk.
The sevond Higgins leaves, this O is incompetent despite massive talent
The second Hendrickson is gone, they become a historical atrocious defense...thats not even accounting to Hilton probably leaving.
Blow it up, rebuild with Chase and Burrow before its too late with them...if there is a change of keepong Higgins they should. If he ends up being anything but a top ten paid receiver elsewhere, we should have kept him too.
Im done giving the Browns my money, i survived the 90s but might not survive now if they dont take immediate steps

If I was front office I’d be calling Bill Belichick and seeing what it would take to get him to coach this team. The lack of focus is on the head coach and it shows every year at the start of the season. This year they just don’t have the talent at enough positions to make up for the bad plays.
