I agree, it’s an underrated shot because everyone has to have such an excellent slice at their level. I just don’t like the slice not getting the respect it deserves.
I am fortunate enough to only live a couple hours away and visit every year for the tournament. An absolutely beautiful venue. Unfortunately COVID shut it down this year, first time I have missed in 6 years.
Too many mistakes from GD am guessing focus motivation is off or what ever it's anyways when you're too casual about training /practice eventually you end up a Casualty in real match 😁😍🍀
@@vanshagarwal2362 Making it look like he's failed...He's had a great career! #3 in the world at one time! #27 all time in prize money earnings as of this comment... Yeah, he had a lot of promise being "Baby Fed" coming out of Juniors but was far too defensive with his skill set. He still can turn it around to win a slam but shoulder Injuries, bad luck, off court distractions, and lack of confidence are stopping him. He still has a couple years to turn it around. Stan Wawrinka started winning slams later in his career; Stan would be a good example for Grigor to follow.
Dimitrov’s slice is so underrated. Very reliable and effective.
It’s the best part about him tho
I agree but pretty much every top player on tour has a reliable and effective slice...

Other much better names such as Federer, Andy, or even Djokovic exist.
The slice backhands are incredible.

Why did so many people think that Dimitrov is the new Federer? Is it because their swings and follow throughs looked so similar?
Genie Bouchard practicing in the corner at 6:25

I'd say a 4.0...maybe a 4.5. Nothing special where I live.
One the last practice sessions with the great David Ferrer. I hope Dimitrov learns something from him.
Trent Timoy how to hit a backhand in the net
Hard to teach guts.
I was here for Ferrer actually

Intermediate? Why the balls travel so slow?
Really? Never seen any quicker court side footage than this..
David is sooooo short!

Fed is pretty well known for his casual practice demeanor. Compared to Fed, Fabio, and Tomic, it's like Dimitrov is on amphetamines
Ferrer needs better serves
Dimitrov is soooooo disappointing these years. No big improvement so far. and he is pretty much done
It really does seem that way. What happened to the Agassi hook-up coaching gig??
Just got the US Open Semi brooo
Masters on Heartstone with his ability he should’ve been in a final by now . Disappointing semis he played

Dimitrov is too obsessed with how he looks hitting a shot instead of the effect of the shot and the next ball.
What? lol. His technique is one of the best in the game.
haha true it does feel so
