      @TheFedHD Marcos and JJ both played D1. They both played a lot of doubles in college. Sinner and Sonego are both singles players. They grew up in Italy, and over seas doubles isn’t as widely practiced as in USA. I know they are pros. Also in pro doubles, you play a super tiebreak for the third set. They 100% played a third set. Any other questions?

    • @hybridkure
      @hybridkure Год назад

      @TheFedHD marcos and jj have a lot more doubles experience cuz they played so much doubles in college, compared to sonego and sinner who specializes in singles, no doubt everyone on the court is still good at doubles though

    Very interesting point of view. Amacing how fast they react and accellerate the balls with so much spin so they nearly can't get out. On the other side there were four single player playing doubles. I think all of them would get advantages in their single play if they had better and most of all intuitive volleys. ;-)

    It's great to see top players playing doubles but I'm only 20 seconds in and I'm not impressed by Sinners net play. Those first 3 shots should all of been immediate winners but instead he taps it back to his opponents. He just doesn't appear to know what he's supposed to be doing at the net. It goes without saying that he'd annihilate me but I'd expect more from a top player.
