I dropped out of college after a year, went thru a few jobs, landed where I'm at now at the bottom and am currently VP, shareholder, and future majority shareholder, those shares given to me by a man who is not my family. Because I showed dedication and loyalty and a willingness to make tough decisions and take risks and never ever give up. Take away the crime and violence and this show is almost a master class on the struggle and strategy to rise to the top. No successful businessman I know doesn't have a head for strategy, willingness to take risks, and just plain shear will to get done whatever needs to be done. Peaky Blinders is like capitalism with almost no rules. Loved it for that aspect alone, everything else is just part of the story. Awesome show.
Exactly my thoughts, there is so much to learn from this show about the rise to the top of the food chain. It's just that so many people are blinded to it by the overabundance of cringey sigma edits
@@Minorityy I'd wish you luck but understanding and following this quote from President Calvin Coolidge will take you farther in life: “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On!' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
Peaky is my favorite show of all time. I watched it front to back probably a 100 times now. I can’t get enough of the Peaky Boys & Cillian Murphy just hooked me he absolutely EMBODIED Thomas Shelby
Bro pls if u get the notification of this reply pls reply me back...I just want to know what really made him to be like him like the gangster...did anything happen to him in the childhood or any evidence showed in the show which has happened in the past...plz this is very important to mee... I'm doing a great research and want to know if this can be related to that...
@@NipunaSandeep-ss4bw well first of all the Shelbys are a tough family for the most part born into the slums of Small Heath one of the grimeist parts of Birmingham. Their father was a tough dude but he left them young so even tho Arthur was the oldest it was really Tommy (the second born child) who stepped up. BUT the biggest reason for Tommy being the way he is was World War 1. Tommy, Arthur and the youngest John all enlisted and was shipped to France to fight. One day they all got stuck in enemy territory with no guns or weapons and they basically knew they were going to die when the Calvary caught them but they never got caught so that day they all metaphorically "died" and agreed that anything else was extra time that they should've been dead. A man who lives like he's already dead and doesn't care about dying is a huge reason for not giving a fuck. Other things as well such as his wife Grace dying in season 3 added to the gangster of Tommy
@@NipunaSandeep-ss4bw I could've went on and on cuz he's literally my favorite tv character but hope that was to the point of it. You'd honestly have to watch the show to really get it and it's a great watch fr it's amazing Start to finish
Can you do a second part of this video adding import export business and how Tommy acquired commodity companies (in season 4 he and jessie eden talk about it)? thanks mate
In terms of numbers or the actual events? It has been a while since i did watch peaky blinders but if there's any mistakes do let me know. Also numbers hard to discuss as the show doesn't actually state his earnings but i did some research and put reasonable figures.
@@Minorityy The main thing i noticed is when you say that billy kimber was THE kingpin and solomons and sabini were below him this isn't true since kimber runs everything outside london area and solomons and sabini compete in london there was a few small things but most were related to that
True, maybe i should've made it more clear solomon, and sabini are also up there. And that Tommy was the one that was below them. Thanks for the pointing that out@@chiefthomas5342
This is a much better analysis than all the lame sigma high value man scripts people do with Tommy. The business end of this show isn't talked about.
