The Cosco SceneraNext convertible car seat can be used Rear Facing to 40lb, or 40in, or when there is less than 1” of Shell space above the child’s head (The 1” clearance is required for seats made after April 2016, consult your owners manual)

9/1/18: Representatives at Dorel recently clarified that while the seat can be more upright, the seat cannot be installed in the full upright position that is used for forward facing. The grommets on the bottom of the Scenera Next must be on the vehicle seat. coscokids.zendesk.com/hc/en-u...
This video was shot casually using an iPhone 6s for the benefit of a few friends who have asked for visual demonstrations of some of these items. There were time constraints involved, as I really wanted to get the demo on video before the baby arrived.
