Are your finger tips all *not* cut up?! Well, we have the PERFECT knife to solve all of those "closed skin" problems. Introducing the Quartermaster General Lee! 0:50
Blade HQ The Klecker Cordovan isn't the only lock-back flipper there's 1 more out there, can anyone guess the maker and model. The answer is the SOG Twitch 1&2.
Well, you use the pocket clip like you're supposed to, that won't happen. Been carrying one for over a year now, never cut myself. The nice thing about it, is how easily and quickly you can close it one handed. If you practice, you can use the toggle with your ring finger and close the blade as well as open it, much faster than any other knife out there other than a otf switch blade.
@@BMikeAD More and more often I feel like that guy from "idiocracy" that's in awe of the ridiculously stupid, crazy things people say and do ... there's nothing wrong with me, you just lack a sense of observation imo.
The big Swiss Army may or may not have put a nice gash in my finger (you can see I'm wearing a bandaid if you look close). I blame my low energy on the blood loss. -Austin
@Truth Seeker ツ it's well engineered, it's got good materials, and it's made by a small shop meaning its not mass produced so it can't be sold/made for as cheap as say a Gerber Evo
I thought Nazi paratrooper knives were gravity knives. That's more like a pantographic knife. They were marketed postwar as Nazi knives, but afaik, there's no evidence that they were issued.
At about the 1:08 mark I was happy I watched this video.. I related to the frustration that is felt when someone cuts you off in the middle of speaking. 🤣
Thanks for taking the time to highlight these. Been holding out on a snap lock and fulcrum... Now I'm re inspired to give them another look. Love your videos guys.
Van Hoy snap lock is my favorite in this video. This must be the most durable lock spring in a knife EVER! Once you practice, it is actually really easy and safe to open. I used to carry one daily before I got hooked on supersteel.
I have had the "Scrade side flap flopper*" blade push out knife *name is pending approval* I love it, great beater knife and definitely a talking piece as not many people have seen it and enjoy trying it themselves. Can't beat the price point for the attention you get. As far as the rest of the knives on the table, there aren't any I am dying to try.
my favorite would probably be the fulcrum-- it's just unique enough without being super weird, and i think the design is really cool. ordering one tomorrow.
when I saw the title, my first thought was the paragon warlock/phoenix. The sound the womlock makes is just fantastic. I just got a crkt graphite which klecker designed with the same kind of locking mechanism, and I've really liked it so far though
I have a Snap Lock. My father loved it. He gave me 2 and owned at least three more himself. I don't carry it because of the pocket clip, which is incredibly stiff. Otherwise it's a very cool little knife. I think the simplicity of the design is the coolest thing about it. The blade, the frame and the rotary lever. That's pretty much it. As demonstrated in the video, it's not really meant to be operated one handed.
You guys should make a video only about linerlocks. Sure there is sliplick designs, but before all the new fancy strongest locks, it carried the knife industry and made it popular. It is where it all started.
Love this vid, I'm all about the weird and wonderful knives. There's only 3 in this video that I don't already have lol My CRKT collection is diverse too, best knife brand out there IMHO!
You should do an addendum video for the Spyderco Meerkat when the sprint comes out, as well as the Spyderco Introvert which is also a backlock flipper.
4:00 True story, for my groomsmen gifts, I gave R J Martin folders, nothing crazy, liner locks, thumb studs, and we had to show my Brother, Chad how to open and close his.
Jamie (or however you spell his name) rocks at editing and putting the funny snips in..... the banters wouldn't be the same without. Makes me laugh my ass off.
My favorites are the Paragon Warlock (but folders with 2 edges are illegal here) and the Klecker Cordovan I just think that looks nice and I like back lock knives, this one also having a flipper is pretty cool.
I was expecting the Chris Reeve Ti-Lock on this list, the Spyderco Meerkat/Janisong/Bi-Fold or CRKT Glide. Love all of those, even though I don't carry them often...
Is the first one considered automatic? Or does it depend if u open with thumb studs (assisted?). PLZ let me know BC I will buy it if it isn't automatic.
The power glide is a piece of shite! It will break after a few weeks of usage. The center part is full plastic and will crack at any force. But the belt loop is pretty handy. You can sell this to a Jedi cosplayer near you as a belt attachment for a light saber
Wait the Sog Twitch is a back lock flipper and so was their Topo meridian knife. I have the Topo and it's the only sog I own now as they have gone down hill. Use to love the Twitch XL as a slim gentleman knife.
I disagree. CRKT make a lot of original and quality knifes at a reasonable price point. The Heiho is a quality knife imo. It could be that they dropped the ball with the fulcrum? I own plenty of other brands, including the spyderco endura, Boker, and the ZT0350, which, I'm sure you know is made by Kai who also makes Kershaw, whom I generally enjoy as well, but have many terrible knives.
guess it also depends on what your needs are, I have a fulcrum 2 compact and full size and a swindle. both are great for light everyday use and no problems with either so far.
Great video! Thanks for including some of the CRKT knives and thanks for the pick Austin!
CRKT OFFICIAL Proud to be okward???
CRKT OFFICIAL crkt knives are just bad. upgrade your budget steel
Love your brow tine
its budget for a reason moron

$250 or less if you buy from the right vender. Titanium handles, s35vn blade, lifetime warranty. Not too bad.
There needs to be a blade HQ app

Was it because I look sharp in this episode?
-Austin
Blade HQ Austin you look sad in this episode, look at your face @ 11:47. Who hurt you???
The big Swiss Army may or may not have put a nice gash in my finger (you can see I'm wearing a bandaid if you look close). I blame my low energy on the blood loss.

We shall destroy the Swiss Army knife
Jamie's editing skills are God tier
Lmao i wish i could edit like that. The videos on my channel are horrible
Going to buy the mermaid and put it in our little archery shop, because no one will steal it
Austin's mood seem low compared to previous videos hope he's alright.
Jason O probably because he has to see Ben everyday and he is losing his mind. Haha
Its sad that some of those knives are considered as auto in Canada therefore being illegal.
well that's better than Australia, because in Australia you can legally buy a machete, but not an 8cm folding knife.
Automatic?
I barfed in my mouth a bit when the mermaid was pulled out
I want it.
Just to nitpick, the Flucrum is the Fulcrum 2, it was my first knife ever and it's awesome. I love it.
I liked all the knives on the table and showing off all the cool mechanisms.
I love how off the cuff, but still professional these videos are
so your telling me im not the only one who gets a knife and plays with it absently while watching tv
I like the fulcrum. It’s subtle and awesome. It has a sense of flair but it’s not over the top or too flashy.
Paragon Warlock
Afonso Barrocal agreed
True
@Truth Seeker ツ it's well engineered, it's got good materials, and it's made by a small shop meaning its not mass produced so it can't be sold/made for as cheap as say a Gerber Evo
MontyLemon gerbers are typically very inexpensive, not a good comparison imo
@@hatepurrpp2651 that's what I'm saying
Quick fact, the smith and wesson power glide design comes from the nazi paratrooper knife.
I thought Nazi paratrooper knives were gravity knives. That's more like a pantographic knife. They were marketed postwar as Nazi knives, but afaik, there's no evidence that they were issued.
@@josephwood4362 its borrowed from the German paratrooper knife for sure. may not be exactly the same but very close.

Jack FarmBoy I have a fulkrum. wish I never got it. junk as a knife. its a cool gimic tho. money better spent on something else tbo.
Take a look at the CRKT Daktl too. It is somewhat similar to the Snap Lock
i love crkts weird locking mechs, the rollock is one knife i wish theyd bring back
Just found my new favourite series!
gotta have the Rainbow Mermaid
I'm stationed in North Dakota so it was awesome knowing we have knife makers that are doing things in the knife industry.
that blink 182 reference tho
Van Hoy snap lock is my favorite in this video. This must be the most durable lock spring in a knife EVER! Once you practice, it is actually really easy and safe to open. I used to carry one daily before I got hooked on supersteel.
Buck marksman is my favourite flipper! Awesome knife!!

here, the 38th from the left is the sharpest

when I saw the title, my first thought was the paragon warlock/phoenix. The sound the womlock makes is just fantastic.

Klecker Cordovan is a beautiful knife and I absolutely admire the blades luminous shine
The tenacious is my work knife. I freaking love it. Absolutely prefect.
This was the most amazing knife banter episode ever.
I own a paragon Phoenix. (Sing edge warlock) I absolutely love watching my friends try to open it. So much fun to flick open and closed.

Crkt slidelock ... All time fave.
This is why I was interested in the channel, new stuff. Very wholesome
Very cool looking knives, but definitely Bizarre looking. Just give me a Buck 112, that'll do it for me every time.
You guys should make a video only about linerlocks. Sure there is sliplick designs, but before all the new fancy strongest locks, it carried the knife industry and made it popular. It is where it all started.
I like that little fulcrum but are all pretty cool blades great engineering it looks like went into them pretty neat
I have the Ed Van Hoy CRKT snap-lock and *that* was hilarious.
Mermaid for the win! (My daughter now wants one...thanks a lot guys!)
sarcasm?
That buck knife was so smooth
The ONLY knife on the table that is not an embarrassment to carry in public is the Warlock.
Love this vid, I'm all about the weird and wonderful knives. There's only 3 in this video that I don't already have lol My CRKT collection is diverse too, best knife brand out there IMHO!
Had the snaplock before!!! My cousin lost it... I loved it... will probably get one
My favorite knife was the warlock, sadly that's waaaaaaay out of my price range.
I bought a Mermaid knife and it does not flip fully or smoothly. Is it just a bad one?
Paragon Warlock and the CRKTs!!!! Totally awesome!
Crazy knives. :-)
You should do an addendum video for the Spyderco Meerkat when the sprint comes out, as well as the Spyderco Introvert which is also a backlock flipper.
90% of these are illegal in pa, also the power slide is really just a gravity=paratrooper knife
3:30 I like how discrete that is
love the comedy in the video!
And there I was thinking my purple russlock was unique. Cool stuff gents.
These are so entertaining!
Miss Ben and Austin! Gotta love the Warlock!

Where can i buy S&W powerglide???? Cant find it available anywhere /:
This video was released a couple years ago.
The Klecker Cordovan and the CRKT Snap Lock got my attention.
Sherlock & Watson, Simon & Garfunkel, now Ben & Austin!!!
These two are great on camera together.
Lot of memes in this one, made me laugh pretty hard
Joey Zubillaga ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Oh my god the first few seconds I had to rewatch the intro like twenty times lmao!
CRKT- definitely the most interesting knife company. Love that Buck at the beginning!
Jaime is brilliant... but what would he do without Austin and Ben to roast? Keep up the good work gents.
The editing is the best part of these vids lol
I absolutely love my Fulcrum 2 knife! The General Lee almost gave me a heart attack @ $270.00! Man, that is one expensive novelty.
The power glide is a piece of shite! It will break after a few weeks of usage.
The center part is full plastic and will crack at any force.
But the belt loop is pretty handy.
You can sell this to a Jedi cosplayer near you as a belt attachment for a light saber

The crkt fulcrum is like a spider co cricket

FYI, the SOG Twitch II is also a backlock flipper.
Some are horrible. The "balisong" has been... i do not have words. Well, interesting video.

The first one is amazing but omfg the price is crazy

There are backlocks with flippers, though. Like a SOG Twitch.
Also, a Cold Steel Triple Action or a Fred Perrin Tri-Folder should've been there.
The power claw is based of a German paratrooper knife
S & W power glide looks awesome
I’m now getting a crkt fulcrum
Cordovan for sure. It has style and a unique locking mechanism.
The balisong is my favorite knife it's pretty unique in a sense
I'm high af how did i find this lol
