Ford never made a factory dually Ranger with a pickup bed. However, back in the 80s/90s, Ford did sell Ranger chassis cabs (truck without a bed) with a dually setup. These were used for configurations like motorhomes and flatbeds.
Also, Centurion made and sold a dually Econoline van with a pickup bed called the Econoline Cruiser.

I came here to say the same thing. Ford only leased the Ranger Ev's, and I think only to power companies. I worked at a Ford dealer then, and they didn't allow _anyone_ to work on it unless trained by Ford. Even stuff that every other Ranger had, such as window regulators and trim. Unknown how many they made, but I only saw two at our dealer.

@@61rampy65 that's gotta be near 20 years ago. The NY state park service (DEC) got a few and they were great for wandering around campgrounds at night because they were so quiet. The rangers quickly figured out that they couldn't use the AC system because it killed the battery in less than an 8 hour shift.

My uncle had a ceramic tile business and in 1953 he bought two GMC 1 ton Fender side pickup trucks . I worked for him in 1972 and the business was in trouble so he started liquidating everything to close up shop . The two pickup trucks had consecutive VIN numbers consecutive registration numbers and consecutive license plates numbers. I cannot imagine the odds against this and he offered to sell me both of these trucks which were used for the business but always garage kept so they had some dings but they had no rust. He offered me both of these trucks for $800 or $ 500 each . I was a young father at that time and I just could not afford either price but can you imagine if you kept both of those trucks together what they would be worth today . Pretty positive they would be the only two trucks like that in the United States

It was a single cab and the collar was blue but it had a multi tone blue decal on both sides that looked similar to the jeep in the beginning of this video. I have been looking for a picture of it on Google for ever and I can't find anything like it. My dad was so proud of it he always said he bought that truck right off the showroom floor. I'm pretty sure it's the only new vehicle he ever owned. Can anyone give me pointers on looking it up?

That GMC Railroad crew cab did “not” sit that low from the factory. Looks dumb sitting that low.

The problem with these specialty vehicles is price. They slap a few extras on and rape the consumer. That is why they didn’t sell very many because the consumers are smart enough to know when they are being punked by the automakers.

Oh hell, there's trucks that are just as rare if not more so. For example the 1950 Federal M-15 one-ton pickup with 14 foot bed made for the Phefferkorn Awning company. This is a one of one truck that still exists. Or the 1938 Mack 2M pickup in which only 117 were made. Or how about the 1947 Nash pickup, one of one and still exists. Nash also made 6 more of these pickups in 1948. Rare to say the least. I could go on and on...... So your list doesn't contain the "rarest". Do your research, try books instead of making a video based on a Google search!!
