For that automatic shutdown timer try putting the cruise control on. When you're stopped turn the cruise control button on then press the set button, then the engine should start idling at a little higher RPM. See if that works, worked on mine!

when your in the bunk and you need to idle have you tried tying a sting to the trailer hand brake and the other to the steering wheel activating the trailer hand brake all the time would that stop it from shutting down
22:34 Why would the driver of Atlas have the trailer full of their customer's stuff open? That look's suspicious to me. I would rather follow a mover that not watch my stuff while they have it like that. 24:56 Why do you care or notice that the driver is female? It does NOT matter! These videos prove once again how men are privileged to be able to just walk around their truck to do simple things like inspecting the tires and putting fuel in it without being harassed. You are lucky to have that privilege so please respect any woman who drives anything. She should also be able to walk around the truck and do exactly the same tasks as men do without anyone saying anything about it or bothering her. I thank you JBG for the videos especially these older ones that show more details because I don't get to do these things or would be harassed if I did them. I'm going to still look into passing the DOT physical and then try to find a way to pay for the CDL or buy a used box truck down the road. I know I don't need the physical for that but I want to prove I can pass it. I would rather buy my own authority though.
