Damn Coyote, I've been burned, had broken bones, ruptured discs, and still the murder hornet sting is way up there in my top 3 acute pain scale. I think I was about 9 years old, and almost 30 years later, I still vividly remember that sting. I've been stung by other wasps since, and while painful, they are child's play compared to this monster.
@@_hyphenatedIts a very shocking thing, if its not an open fracture and it isnt really obvious that you broke it you might think nothing even happened. You will get that cold shock running over you and feel a bit lightheaded. I have broken my forearm 1 time on each arm and one thing that confirms that you broke it is that you cant grab with it at all basically and it really hurts to move around. After some time u will feel normal but it will just just in these kind of waves. Thats the best i could do to describe, hope it helps!
@@_hyphenated I've broken 2 ribs and fibula. The fib fracture happened when I received a calf kick many years ago. I felt that the kick was quite significantly more stout than the others. It was basically his tibia vs. my fibula, and in that match up, fibula almost always loses. It was immediately painful, but I for sure knew something was not okay, when it started to be quite painful to put any weight on that leg. By the time adrenaline wore out, the pain definitely wasn't mild. Thankfully, it was a simple closed fracture, so I didn't need a surgery. Just around 2 months of cast, crutches and rehab afterwards. Rib fracture on the other hand fking sucks. I got hit with a pretty good knee into the lower left side of my ribcage, about where the stomach would be. Immediately, and I mean in that very moment, I knew something was VERY wrong. I physically felt my ribcage getting depressed further inwards than it normally would, it took my breath away, and I could no longer continue that match. In case of simple fracture of the ribs, there really isn't too much you can do. If your organs are okay, you'll be sent home with some pain meds, and you'll just have to ride out the pain for several weeks. But that wasp sting... It felt like someone took a red hot poker, jammed it into my wrist, and swirled it around inside my hand. I've been stung by wasps before, but I've never felt a sting like this ever before. It throbbed, burned, stung, etc. It happened many many years ago, and although much more faded, the scar is still visible.
You rock Coyote! I will always be a Brave Wilderness fan! You work with some incredible creatures! I've never been bitten by a black widow, but I have been bit by a hobo spider and it's not as painful as a yellow jacket sting.
I'm very glad that the wasp nearly flew away at 15:30-ish, because it shows its nature, No, it didn't want to immediately fly at Coyote and get revenge. Its instinct was to get the heck away, a testament to a fact that it wants nothing to do with you, if at all possible.
