For anyone else curious, the worm from 7:38 is the Japanese Giant Earthworm (Pheretima Sieboldi)! Apparently they can get up to 16 inches (40 cm) long!!
Is it just me or was that worm really beautiful?? That purple-ish blue iridescent skin was so pretty! Call me weird, IDC. I'm such a nerd when it comes to stuff like this lol 😂I love it!
I just got a freaking reality check from seeing the grays in his beard, last time I watched this channel regularly was back during the hunt for the most painful sting. Looking good though, I keep forgetting that people freaking age 😂
Wow, long video! Thanks Coyote! I can never get enough Brave Wilderness, and the crew! I'm gonna save this for when I have to take a road trip later this week! Talk about top tier entertainment! Way to go, gang!
"Toads pee in defense?" - and everytime I handled them I thought that they mistake me for toillet 🤣🤣🤣 (just kidding, but it is hilarous how much the toad pee on Coyote).
All the haters watching this you've never been stung or bitten by any of these so you can't say he's being dramatic also great video! I enjoy watching you're videos for entertainment and to learn new things about animals and nature! Thanks for the great content!
Haha, when talking about jet lag, the 13-hour time difference, Coyote basically says, “…we’ve been here for a few hrs…jet lag makes you feel like you’re in a trance… even hiking is tough”. Haha, well I would assume so! Hiking is likely the last thing most people would want to do, besides sleep immediately to catch up on the time zone! Let alone hike and get stung by insects! 🤣 but you only live once right… I wouldn’t be sleeping when I landed.
Im absolutely terrified to be near any kind of insect. EXCEPT for the praying mantis. Theyre just adorable. I dont mind holding a Mantis, even if i find a really big one, theyre just so cool and the way their head looks around xD
17:18 I've been told on numerous occasions that there aren't any of this specific species of hornets in the US. But I literally have photographic evidence that there is a nest of them in the woods beside my house in East Tennessee Tri-Cities area. I can prove it they come into my garage almost every summer.
Whatever the worm is, it's utterly beautiful, and I applaud you for noticing and indicating that. Also, you're a very brave idiot for finding out if it can bite by letting it try, lol.
These are not controlled stings. The T-Hawk would’ve done similar damage had the stinger stayed in as long as the giant hornet! They are the state insect of NM and prevalent in this area.
I wonder if the dizziness was more due to the stress over boiling and once you took that sting your heart said nope and skipped a beat or 2, I know it not entirely true but on the real you should retest to see if it happens again and if not your should get a heart test just to be sure the dizziness isnt an underlying symptom of something way worse. Or could be stress or the sting but giving it excuses gives you and everyone one a out, having a out is bad because you can rationalize it and end up not going, I know I have done the same for many many things which is why I point it out.
When I went hiking in Owase Wakayama prefecture in Kansai, those murder hornets on that hiking trail was bigger than the one you have😬 At the time I didn’t know what they can do, I only knew it was some type of hornet and they were gigantic. I saw plastic Bottles hung from branches with clear liquid inside to what I assume is syrup, with 3-5 hornets trapped inside the bottle unable to escape. The hornets flying in the area were very calm, I assume they are use to humans in the area as it is a popular hiking trail. Nevertheless I got out of the area as quickly as I could, I’m generally concerned with any types of hornets and bees. Afterwards I found out Japanese people catch and eat them as a delicacy.
I heard they're like the John wick of hornets. They have a photographic memory and I think they can live in water for a bit and will relay anything someone or something has done to the others and so you'll have a whole hive that knows what you look like. I might be getting it wrong but I'm not sure
I remember when I was younger I used to basically only watch these, it's odd seeing grey hair. Goodbye guys, I'm older and I grew apart, you kept me busy and for that I thank you and I'm sorry I have to leave.
Guys its very dangerous method that you use! Inside of forarm almost in veins! Iff the things go wrong you can miss very important time for professionnal help!( And what can happens if you gonna have a shot of concentrated poison directly in vein strately in brain?... Who knows?( Outside of arm may be more "securelly") if it can be)
I had a fire belly newt as a little kid named Mr. T. Shows how long ago that was💀😂 Mine must’ve been comfortable around me because I never smelled anything and I held it quite a bit I always washed my hands after holdin’ him I know how deadly they are I’ve had African clawed frogs eat a newt and die but it wasn’t a fire belly newt It was one of the green ones with the yellow spots all the way down both sides of their back💯💀 I can’t remember what their species name is🤔
Did the length of this video keep them from commenting on it or watching it? Hard to believe! BW videos are always worth watching! Even if they leave me squirming a little bit, because crawlies!
It's not mimicry, I wish you would stop spreading that... They have nothing to mimic, it's a defense mechanism meant to distract the threat from the head to give it time to retreat, bite, or escape without it's tail if it can be torn off. Not mimicry
Dang what the deal? Coyote can’t so much as touch it but he let Jeremy wade catch it by the tail and whip it around like a bullwhip lol he must not like u as much
Coyote: AAAAhHJYCjRvIDh!!!
Mark: Your bleeding
Yeah these are important he is listing things that are happening in case something happens

Wow, long video! Thanks Coyote! I can never get enough Brave Wilderness, and the crew! I'm gonna save this for when I have to take a road trip later this week! Talk about top tier entertainment! Way to go, gang!

Reppin' Ohio, I love it!! Im from the Youngstown/Warren area
Akron here!!! Howdy neighbor!!!! 💙
It’s crazy to think that the salamander weighs 35lbs 😂
27:37 is that ACTUALLY the swelling from the sting on his left arm or am I just seeing it at a weird angle?
That Asian hornet seemed very pleased with herself. 😅
"Toads pee in defense?" - and everytime I handled them I thought that they mistake me for toillet 🤣🤣🤣 (just kidding, but it is hilarous how much the toad pee on Coyote).
28:23 you know it’s serious when he is talking for him

proof or it didn’t happen
My favorite bugs are milipedes, stickbugs and praying mantus.
i wish someone would explain the difference between wasps and hornets one of these days. they look like the exact same thing to me.
Whatever the worm is, it's utterly beautiful, and I applaud you for noticing and indicating that. Also, you're a very brave idiot for finding out if it can bite by letting it try, lol.
his wildelife explenations sre perfect for my noodle brain
Ouch. He shouldn't have done that. That's very painful.
Scary 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

The sting zone with the Japanese Giant Hornet was intense!!
Sissilian😮
Who knew the sting index is fudged now because no one factored in the time of sting to calibrate dosage 😂
it’s funny how bad coyote wants to touch that salamander
9:34, I believe what Coyote Peterson found is an Asian Jumping Worm.
Just wanted to say you travel a lot 😂😂
I got stung 3 times on the same arm while standing gaurd on my post shrugged it off
Giant salamander is beautiful

Plot twist, that praying mantis killed the other female for mating with her mate 😂
your so brave
Will he roll around in agony??? I think so
12:30 close your eyes🌚
When you were having the Japanese giant hornets, are. Not necessarily not scars cuz. You do it most times.

Did you see his arm bro. That was off a tiny sting. And if you haven’t done it yourself you don’t get to speak on the pain you have not felt.
