It’s actually not a drone, it’s called Insta360 with an extra long invisible selfie stick. Drones are illegal at many resorts, however Waldorf Maldives lets you fly them in a designated area. Never from your room though.
Hi! I’m planning to go on my honeymoon! I was wondering if you recommend this resort for us two? How was your overall experience? I was just worried that is very close to male and I was wondering if the water is crystal clear as if you would go to a farest hotel.
Not sure how much further resorts are in terms of water clearness, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amingiri and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The time of year is quite important for good weather. If you have the points/free nights use it at Waldorf Maldives as well, they both have high wow factors though Waldorf is more expensive to get to.
Definitely! Honestly we didn’t even go in to the ocean from our overwater room since the waves were mostly too choppy when we were there. A beach villa probably would’ve even been preferable. The resort is beautiful everywhere you look.
That’s what I thought at first too, but you get used to island pricing. $50 for a burger made the buffet seem like a good deal. It was also an amazing buffet with meats and seafood you don’t normally see in the US.
Incredible resort - thanks for the tips!!!!
Hi! What drone are you using? Thank you ☺️

Did you stay in jumeirah? If yes which do you recommend Hilton or jumeirah @GoodDealTraveler
You said in the video that you'd go back. Would you still go back now that only beach villas are available as standard room reward?

@@GoodDealTravelerthanks! Ended up booking 3 nights there followed by a 5 night stay at Huvafen Fushi. Your vid helped a lot. Cheers!
@@la8d so jealous! I know you’ll have a blast, one of the best resorts I’ve been to.
Three hundred dollars apiece for the buffet?! Did I hear that right?
It’s $50 for a burger so $300 for a beach buffet seemed like a good deal!
@@GoodDealTraveler is that 300 per room or per person? thank you
@@tookebao595it was for two I believe, don’t recall spending $600 on a buffet!
$350 per person for the buffet? Sounds insane

“I’d much rather eat cereal on a table than in the water.” Um, yeah. Sounds cool, but not practical!
