I had the pronto RF on my shelf as a decoration for some 8 years and am ordering the extremely pack and some film so I can get it back on the taking pictures again !
The Polatriplet the Pronto! is really nice! But the f/9.4 guesstimate focus is a recipe for fuzzy pics. You really want the RF version. I hacked my Pronto! B to use a smartphone, which now can be focused accurately.
You could also just use a laser rangefinder. Though I don't think it would be great for portraits as I'm not sure many people would like to see a laser dot pointed at their forehead 🙄

Three of them are the RF version- and yeah guess distance is always tricky UNLESS you have a aux rangefinder and put it in a cold shoe- more on that

Great to see these mods on the older cameras. I recently converted two Sun 600s for I-Type and they work great!
