But about that warsaw pact filter you had, would you consider that one safe or no? my CM4 came with that exact one and im not too sure if i should buy a NATO one for my CM4
Yes it's the same issue as the M65, if you have the perfect face shape for the mask size it will fit fine, otherwise it leaks, they are generally considered bad masks for their shoddy peripheral seals. As for the Czech filters, as said in the video, I personally wouldn't use them.

the CM3 is the return of the Czech darth vadar XD lol but for real the only czech mask i had was the M10M and hopefully ill get both the black and grey GP-5 with the hose and coffee can filter for only 10 USD.

All these masks are from the period when the two countries were one, hence Czecho (for the Czech part) and Slovakia( for Slovakian part). Saying that it’s “Czech” is not correct as it imples the masks are solely from the Czech Republic, which didn’t exist until the split in 1993.
Weaponsandstuff93 yes I know (gumarny zubri etc.), I’m just saying that the masks are from the period when it was one country (even though the languages are different) it could be perceived as discriminative - it’s like saying a Czechoslovak person is a Czech, while it could be either a Czech or a Slovak person, a concept many westerners don’t always seem to grasp. Sorry if I sound bitter, but I think I know a bit more about it considering I’m Slovak and a mask collector

Could you make the m10m a safe mask by attaching the hoses , taping any converter with the 40mm nato port and attaching a nato filter , if so that’s 2 birds with 1 stone , a safe mask and it’s no longer a cheek filter mask (to a extent, at least you can change the filters)
I have a weird Czech cm3 the valve is black and doesn't have a neck carry strap but the rubber of the Czech one its like a mix of the polish and Czech masks
Denmark never domestically made masks as far as I'm aware they just bought masks from other countries, I do have some British masks that were sold to Denmark then sold back as surplus

Thanks, somebody else said that a bit earlier, I was thinking it was some sort of civil defence logo, but a manufacturer makes more sense.

That tridon (or how ever ypu spell it) is a logo of a company called SIGMA. They make filters and stuff like that.

If it's a US mask they are very hard to get a hold of outside of the US so probably not.

I think you schould get FM-3d its a really cool mask.
M10 gas mask is more comfortable than its clone, polish MP4. A quality of head stripes is also better - they are much more resistant and durable.
The MP4 is not a clone of the M10, All of them are based on the American M17.

Not really as the pipe can't sit on the mask without the original M10 filters inside.
It's best just to get a NATO mask really.

No, the good news is the exhale valve being at the bottom means that the saliva would flow out the mask when you breath out for the most part.
