Palliative Care Nurse - Day in the Life (EPISODE 1)

Emily Yap is a palliative care nurse for Hospis Malaysia. Part of Emily's job includes the relieving and preventing the suffering of her patients. She explains that sometimes her duties will also require her to listen to concerns of the family members of her patients.
The duties of a palliative care nurse is not an easy one. Emily's day begins early in the morning as she cares for her family before starting her day at Hospis Malaysia.
She will then spend the rest of her day visiting and checking up on her patients. At times her job will take her to the homes of grieving families as they say their last goodbyes.
As one watches how dedicated Emily is to her career, see her genuine concern and care for her patients, one becomes humbled in the presence of such nobility.
