虽然成绩不是唯一的出路但成绩是最好的出路。
成绩好能给你多一点选择。and not be trapped in the 'I am left with this choice, no choice'. 我有同学靠6-9分，选择上poly. He can choose from a full range of 4 (minus some credits) to 25. Maybe 300 choices from school choices and combinations of courses . But if you score 25, probably left with 2-5 choices? That's the diff. Maximise your choices and have power to make choices. 想选择但没的选择有时很痛苦。 尽力deepen your ability to expand your capacity? 就像有钱能选择到北极旅行，没钱局限于有限的选择。paper qualification 就像那个token. 尤其是全国联考的。大学选科是另一回事。 😂

dead dead wrong. The education is not just a piece of paper. Such a simplistic thought. The education cert, is going to open up the doors of opportunities and give you a greater freedom of manuveur . Unless if you do badly in the exams, then one way to console yourself is to apply what Romeo had said “education is just one aspect, it does not define anything” . But remember this students, the benefits of good results can be of major advantage if you know how to translate it and perhaps translate it at the right time and context.
I agree. For their industry, actually also important. Imagine doing badly and cannot even read or understand the script. Much more to say to convey the emotions. If one’s interest is to work in a Govt sector, then definitely education is not a piece of paper. It matters, and don’t be sulky when you have the experience but paperless and getting much lesser pay then paper-full but lesser experience. At the end, it is still the industry you are in and how you value your own job satisfaction. Money, position/power or something else.

新加坡的O level,跟马来西亚的spm有什么不一样
CH is a pure science. The 10 and 14 cannot compare with the pure 15. 10 and 14 must add extra, won't be 15. 10 is N level, so must add more than the 14. NA EL and Exp EL is very different papers. Grade is important, not like what Romeo say. The quality and lastingness of job got difference.

@@yjlee-uq2sc 不是哦，美国大学不只是看成绩，还会看portfolio，还会面试，只考到好成绩是不够的，美国大学还会按照学生背景、热忱来挑选学生，不是全世界都是一样的😘
@@kennygoh3953 SAT美国高考不需要面试呀，海外申请留学有的也不需要面试，我现在就在申研中，英美等国家包括新加坡，一样主要是看本科的成绩单现实就是看标化+GPA，全世界一样，个别学校会之外再看面试。
@@yjlee-uq2sc 新加坡国立大学的人文与科学院（CHS）已经开始强制essay了，NUS College 国大学院也是强制面试，没有所谓全世界都一样的，美国大多数大学都是需要面试的，不只是看本科成绩单，这不只是“个别学校”而已，现实就是大多数的大学不只是注重成绩，而且也看中课业以外的东西，所以新加坡教育部才会大刀阔斧地改革小学、中学、初级学院、理工学院和大学
@@kennygoh3953 是呀有学校会看面试，申请也有个人陈述ps,essay,cv这些都会有，但看这些的前提也是成绩必须拿得出手呀，成绩不够人家都不会继续评估你的其他方面了。成绩对于高等院校的录取是最重要的最基本的，所以说没办法不重视啊。
